Great company, excellent customer service and very friendly staff capable of answering any questions, recently purchased a Santa Cruz tallboy from here and the whole process was a pleasure, can’t recommend highly enough.

The staff at the Harrogate store are extremely helpful. I got to try a few of the bikes I was looking at and was given some really good advice on what would suit me best for my style of riding. The deal I got was really good and so was the after sales support. Gav was great and looked after everything start to finish. There was a potential manufacturer defect with one of the tyres that initially I only wanted reassurance with. Instead they offered to replace it free of charge with a better tyre so I couldn’t say no. I would recommended using this shop. They are flexible and will sort you out so you leave happy. Thanks again

Top service guys ordered some wet weather MTB gear on Monday evening (bank holiday) came on Wednesday afternoon free 24hr tracked delivery very pleased with the items also had some good interaction online with the team at Stif I will be using again highly recommended

Great staff great service a little bit angry that the 5010 we just purchased only a few weeks ago in preparation for Xmas stores unused has now been discounted a further £1000. I would not have minded but the sale guy made the impression this was the absolute steal when we purchased. Overhaul shop Great but has now made me hesitant as was looking to purchase another bike and these guys are the main dealers. £1000 can make a difference to a 13 year old in gear to go with his bike.

Wanted to be impressed but cant ignore the poor service. Spent £1000's at Stif on service work, new drivetrains, suspension, labor, clothing and footwear over the last 2 years but the bike service mantra of everything takes 2 weeks still prevails. 2 weeks to get service window, week later before bike looked at identifies missing part (could have been noted on day one), new parts obtained by me but another week before it can be fitted (headset bearing) and unlikely to be finished same day? No actual collection day proposed, just expected to keep calling and every other customer seems to before me despite waiting over 45 days now (including 2 week delay for me to obtain parts). Not a one off experience as previous services has resulted in cranks falling off (bolts not torqued properly) and chains needing shortening (fitted with excess links) - both had to be remedied at home with a little help from YouTube. Even an email to 'customer service' gets ignored. Day 46 for a 2 hour job and i'm yet to see even an estimate for this work and missed an important biking holiday opportunity that they were aware of. Not exactly going out of their way to help and i regret not pulling the bike earlier to give to another shop. Best to DIY IMHO.

All of the staff are excellent, honest, helpful and knowledgable, and they will not sell you anything unnecessarily.
I’ve not ridden a mountain bike for 10 years and wanted to get back to the forest, (road cyclist), however my lack of up to date knowledge did not matter and they could not have been more friendly and forthcoming with help and advice on how things had changed and what might be best for me.
Gav was amazing and so helpful making the purchase pain free and both cost effective and tailored to my needs.
Everything that was recommended during our conversations and discussions was a worthwhile and necessary purchase and I am so happy with everything I have bought.
They do not sell anything that is rubbish, all items for sale are quality goods and while some of it may seem expensive at first glance anything they do sell will last. You get what you pay for.
Warranty on the Santa Cruz frames and bearings and the Reserve wheels really justifies the asking price, if anything, just for the peace of mind.
STIF are an excellent bike shop and I would highly recommend them to anyone that asked.
They will be my go to Bike shop from now on.

I thought I would leave this review because sometimes it's good to let others know when you have found a good bike shop.
In my experience, they are a bike shop that can be consistently relied upon to provide a great service. All the staff are super helpful, knowledgeable, and always seem to go that extra mile. As riders themselves they understand what's important to their customers, and will always do what they can to get you back out riding if they can. Basically, they're just a solid trustworthy bike shop - which is exactly what you want!

I’ve bought 2 Santa Cruz bikes from Stif Harrogate. They’re absolutely fantastic. Their prices, untouchable customer service, honesty and product knowledge set them apart from every other bike shop in this market. I’ve had valves fail and had replacements shipped under warranty the next day, brake issues that have been sorted and all forms of advice on owning a top end enduro bike. The guys at Stif are an asset to their company and the reason I’ll only ever buy a bike from this business. Jed is super efficient, fair and straight up on the warranty side. Their workshop is fantastically ran and their sales team are real riders with real world experience.

The guys at Stif are always friendly and super helpful! I bought a bike from them last year with quite a few tweaks from the stock model and it was a great experience. This year I've had to send it in for a warranty claim, they had a friendly and honest approach, kept me up to date on progress of the rebuild and got me rolling again proper quick. I really can't fault them. Bought them beer because why not :D

Had some issues with a retun I was due to make being stolen from my car. The guys at Stif were legends about it and sorted my refund. Bought some other knee pads, fast and efficient. Perfect customer service. Highly recommend

Very happy with my experience purchasing my bike frame and wheelset from Stif bike. Rob from Stif helped me so much, very patient answering all my questions, quick response, and very clear communication. He managed to get the frame i've been searching everywhere with no luck. and He also made the whole transaction so smooth and easy. Thank you so much everyone at Stif especially to Rob.

Used these guys for a few years now and their service is bettered only by their knowledge. Whether it’s been buying individual parts or full custom bike build, their knowledge and advice is on the money.

What can I say? Best MTB shop I've ever visited. From the start Gav was very professional and easy to deal with. All the good service started soon as I walked through the door to collect my Santa Cruz e bike. I was made to feel important and appreciated. This attitude towards customers is very hard to come by these days. I will continue to use Stif just because of the great customer service from Gav and the rest of the lads in the Harrogate shop. Great work guys.
