Stifmtb rullz

Stifmtb has great, fast, and kind service.
It's easy and very comfortable to contact the representatives by email or chat on the website.
They are very responsive and can professionally answer each question.
It's not my first experience with buying from Stif and definitely not the last.

Boys are just awesome.

I've just ordered a 2022 edition Santa Cruz 5010 C R-Kit L from them, and as a first very good point, the pricing was far more attractive than everywhere else on the Internet : 3400€ shipping costs included instead of 4800€ recommended on Santa Cruz's website.

Second great point, a very nice support: delivery has been pretty bad because of TNT's shameful performance and the whole Stif team have been doing their best to help me dealing with it and finally getting the bike delivered in good shape. Thanks boys!

Last but not least: plenty of good advises by e-mail to help me setting up the bike and getting the best out of it.

Cheers boys! Should I order a new bike someday, you'd be the first website I'd give a shot to.

First class service

First class service and the communication was brilliant, even received a phone call to thank me for my order. First time I have used them but I am telling my friends about the level of service you receive and the quality bikes they have.

Great service from the team at Stif

Great service from the team at Stif – after reading too many bike reviews online I visited the store and used some of their demo bikes, this really helped me find the right bike and size, the team were on hand to offer their thoughts too. Awesome stuff, thanks!

Shocking

Shocking service

I purchased a race team Santacruz megatower paying £4.850 for it
I received the bike full of dirt nor even cleaned at all, the dropper post didn’t work, the forks damage on the lower legs is unreal and in need of service.

I understand these bikes will show some use but for that price I would assume it would have been in better condition.

This is the second Santacruz I owned and I will never ever buy from this people again.

I did receive a call to tell me that they check and it was alright, of course they wouldn’t have said they checked it was terrible but they decided to send it like that anyway.

It is a shame for a Santacruz reseller to tarnish its reputation in such a way.

Well, one less customer what a disappointment.

We're sorry that you feel this way. In response, we'd like to point out that the bike had been fully stripped down and serviced before being listed for sale. It was definitely clean.

The bike was being sold off at half it's original retail price, due to the fact it'd been raced by a member of our team. It was priced fairly. The fork had some scuffs to the lowers, which were visible in the pictures on the website.

We agreed to take the bike back, you advised us it hadn't been ridden in your ownership. We arranged the courier to collect. When we finally received the bike back (you made it difficult for the courier to collect), it had a BIKE PARK WALES ticket attached to it, which meant that you'd not only ridden the bike, but taken it to a downhill bike park! You also insufficiently packaged the bike, so that in transit, the bike came out of the packaging, causing damage to the fork lowers

Would 100% recommend!

Well what an amazing service. Needed a replacement skewer for my bike the guys at stud went above and beyond to help and find the right part. 100% would use stif mtb again can’t thank you enough guys. 👍👍👍👍👍

Having purchased a new bike from them I found the whole experience disappointing and underwhelming the way in which a company deals with a customers concerns tells a lot on how they deal with them
I have made contact with the owners and waiting a response we will see how it works out before I voice any more

Couldn't rate them higher!

Spending a lot of money on a bike you haven't ridden is always going to be a tough decision! with Stif it was easy! Big shout out for Adam he kept me informed all the way through happily changed bits when I changed my mind he/they really couldn't have done more. The bike arrived packed in a box that could have survived a Tank rolling over it! ill defiantly be going back!

I don't write a lot of reviews but feel…

I don't write a lot of reviews but feel the guys at Stif Cycles are very much deserving of one. I've been riding MTB's all my life and have previously purchased bikes from another well known bike store but have always wanted a Santa Cruz, now in my 40's I thought it was about time I got hold of my dream bike which I purchased from Stif Cycles nearly a year ago now during lock down restrictions. I have read the poor reviews other people have left and understand the frustrations when you are paying good money, but as a sales person myself (Sales Controller for Skoda) know only too well how bad reviews can have a negative impact and believe that these negative reviews have been left by customers who should realise that as a business trying to operate under unprecedented times and circumstances should give people a break. From the 1st contact on a live chat the guys were really helpful in giving me guidance and yes I too had to wait for the bike but these bikes arrive as parts to the shops and have to be assembled. I live near the Forest Of Dean and just under an hour drive from the shop so not just around the corner but still took my pride and joy to them for inspection, I have just had my bike serviced and purchased some apparel at the same time from the Bristol store where the guys couldn't be more helpful and not pushy into selling customers what they don't want. The bike was looked after by the mechanics like it was there own bike and part of my order was some Burgtec MK5 pedals that had to come from the Yorkshire store as the colour I wanted were out of stock, recieved a call within a week to say they were ready to pick up. In short a brilliant outfit I will continue to support with my custom and highly recommend the guys who know there stuff and are keen MTBers themselves so are genuinely interested in what they do and there customers. Top marks.

Awesome shop (Troy Lee Helmet)

Awesome bike shop. Instant dispatch of a great item at a great price. Free postage only took 2 days to arrive. I'd recommend them and would order from them again for sure.

Superb Squatch

Bought stuff squatch online in early Feb, delivered 1st week March, the guys kept in touch and responded to all my queries. Bike is awesome and as they say ‘well Baxxxed fast’. Wish I had owned this bike in my thirties but still manages to make an old fart look credible. Would buy every time from them and bike one of best owned

Having purchased an item online...

Having purchased an item online on the 8/1/21 I paid for the 24hr delivery service, knowing I would receive it until the Monday I was happy with that. However Monday came and no parcel, so on the Tuesday I phoned the store and got a story about the warehouse being swamped and the item is with the Royal Mail. I received no dispatch notice and no one contact me to say it was going to be delayed. I then phoned again on the Friday 15/1 and was told the parcel location is unknown and I have to wait 15 days before I can get a refund. When shopping online I like to used different business for shopping to help keep business going especially during this COVID period, however I feel completely let down with the service all round and disappointingly won’t be using this company again.

Bad customer service

I understand that COVID gives challenges for every business but only allowing 4 people in a large warehouse seems exceedingly overkill. So we were made to wait outside for 25 minutes while the staff members had a general chat with a departing customer who they seemed to know. When we were finally allowed in, it transpired that the customer had actually suggested he leave to allow the queuing customers to come in, but was told by the sales assistant that it was fine !!!
I really cannot fathom this total lack of customer service or business awareness as we were looking to purchase an expensive bike. Needless to say we will not be returning. Training required urgently we suggest

Phoned several times spoke to the team
No call back, I understand things are not good at the moment but the staff should say we are not able to take orders not promise to call back
This was a genuine enquiry
So disappointed with this company who advertise in MTB mag
I have now ordered from another company who couldn’t be more helpful
