Warning To Potential Customers

This company deliberately deceives customers. The webinar falsely claimed a “limited-time promotion” for only 10 attendees, creating urgency to buy. In reality, this was standard pricing, and the “live event” was a prerecorded sales pitch—a clear breach of ethical business practices.

Despite the polished audiobook, most video content simply repeats the book’s information with little new insight or practical tools. Inconsistencies throughout the course raised serious doubts, leading me to quit after just five days, realizing the material lacked promised value.

The program includes excessive filler material, such as hypnosis sessions and completely unrelated audiobooks across multiple topics, offering no additional support for stopping drinking. Additionally, the course is drip-fed, meaning critical material is not available immediately, delaying meaningful guidance when it's needed most.

The advertised monthly Zoom calls and direct email support are nonexistent. Despite multiple attempts to reach out, I received no response. When they finally replied, it was a copy-paste from the website, ignoring my concerns and refund request entirely. Responses to negative reviews have also publicly exposed customer details, further raising ethical concerns.

The refund policy is designed to block legitimate claims and violate consumer rights. The “100% Guaranteed Refund” is misleading—hidden terms make it nearly impossible to claim. The refund request page is deliberately concealed, preventing easy access.

Under UK consumer protection laws, refunds can be requested within 14 days, regardless of course commencement. These rights were never waived, yet the company ignores them. Additionally, enforcing a 30-day refund limit while requiring 90-day course completion effectively denies consumers their rightful refund.

After multiple refund requests, they refuse to respond or comply, reinforcing their unethical practices.

Before committing to this purchase, I strongly urge all potential customers to read the 1-star reviews on this site and multiple other platforms. These independent reviews paint a clear picture of the misleading practices and consumer complaints. Early review requests manipulate ratings, misleading potential buyers.

Anyone who has been refused a refund should file complaints with the UKICC and the appropriate consumer protection bodies in Cyprus to challenge these unfair policies. This company must be held accountable.

Edit in response to the below reply:

You have access to your server logs, which clearly show my participation. Any opinions you hold about my level of engagement are irrelevant to my request, which is based solely on my consumer rights.

Your refund form is designed to intentionally mislead customers and bears no relevance to this request.

I will not entertain personal assumptions or mischaracterizations regarding my circumstances. If you wish to discuss this matter further, please do so via email. Otherwise, I will proceed with the actions stated in my previous letter in the stated timeframe, these actions will be stopped once the refund is processed accordingly.

Mike you didn't even attempt the course, just decided to carry on drinking. You didn't even submite the refund application. I would urge you to deal with your alcoholism or at least submit the form if you are not happy, instead of all this deflection from the real issue .

Okay Mike, I can see we cannot reach an agreement on this. I will arrange the refund. I wish you well and hope you get some help with your problems. Best of luck.

Fake news

I joined the webinar expecting a legitimate learning experience, only to realize almost immediately that it was nothing more than a deceptive marketing ploy. The entire thing is a pre-recorded fake, deliberately designed to appear as if it’s live to create a false sense of urgency and authenticity. This is a blatant manipulation tactic meant to pressure people into making impulsive purchases, and it reeks of dishonesty.

Beyond the artificial “live” aspect, the misleading and deceptive claims made throughout the webinar are beyond questionable—they are outright false. The presenter repeatedly asserts that this is the “number one course on the internet”, yet provides absolutely no proof to back up this wild claim. In reality, well-established programs like This Naked Mind, which has over 140,000 members, demonstrate a much larger and more credible presence in this space. The fact that such a comparison is omitted speaks volumes about the lack of transparency in his pitch.

What’s worse, misleading and deceptive conduct is illegal under Australian consumer law, yet this individual seems to have no hesitation in engaging in it. This is not just unethical; it’s a deliberate exploitation of vulnerable people who are looking for real help, not a glorified sales funnel filled with smoke and mirrors. The entire setup is designed to mislead potential buyers into believing they are investing in a highly successful and widely recognized program, when in reality, the data simply does not support these claims. There isn’t a single verifiable statistic provided—just vague, unverifiable boasts that don’t hold up to scrutiny.

Additionally, the use of logos and references to major media outlets like Forbes, CNN, and others is yet another misleading tactic designed to lend false credibility to the course. A quick search of these sites reveals no actual content related to this program or its creator. The implication that it has been featured on these platforms is a blatant attempt to deceive customers into believing it has been endorsed by reputable sources when it has not.

As for the so-called money-back guarantee, don’t be fooled. It is not a real guarantee in any meaningful sense of the word. I have firsthand experience of how difficult, if not impossible, it is to claim a refund. The process is deliberately designed to discourage customers from following through, making it nothing more than a hollow promise meant to further reduce your hesitations before making a purchase.

Bottom line: This programme is disguised as a self-improvement course, built on false advertising, deceptive marketing, and outright lies. If you value your time, money, and integrity, do not fall for it. There are far more reputable and proven alternatives out there that don’t rely on deceit to sell their programs. Save your money and look elsewhere.

Live Webinar is faked

I was keen on this course and would have happily paid to join.

However the webinar has put me off. It in theory is Craig himself with a live chat, to which he refers regularly. It gives the impression that you are chatting to others when actually you are not.

For one thing, Craig is in theory doing three of these a day, every day. Not a chance. Why make the pretence?

Classic sales pitch of only 10 left which counts down. At a one off price - which is also available on the website!

If the webinar had been recorded, or hosted for real by someone, I would have trusted the product. As it is- steer clear. If you really have a product that is good enough, why resort to dodgy sales methods?

Craig gave some tangible instructions to put pattern interrupts in place when you are having cravings to drink. Drinking a glass of water and then doing something dramatically different than the trigger leading to drinking; tapping therapy; and hypnosis.

Not Taking Action = Continued Pain

I’m amazed at the difference and I’m only day three. The pain and pleasure exercise was a key thing for me. I’ve never see it before and I took it to the next level by not only writing it out, but when I finished I put myself in a relaxed state and let myself feel the pain and experience the feelings I would be if what I wrote was true for me. Three days and no hangover or grogginess at work.

Craig's course is bullet proof

Craig's course is bullet proof. I can't reiterate what he says enough - if you're worried at all about your drinking, get on over and do it. Now. I honestly never thought I'd be able to get alcohol out of my life altogether; especially the bedtime sleep assistant. But I was alcohol free after 3 weeks and that was six months ago. The liberation and clarity I have now, focussing on my future means I don't even think about the stuff. It's not on my radar at all. I am so grateful that Craig created this course and all the supporting media.
My life is renewed. Thank you Craig, most sincerely.

It's a different approach. You learn why you drink; what alcohol is doing to you and how it controls you. It also gives me the belief that I can stop and my world won't come to and end. Craig is very easy to relate to for me as well.

Life Changing: Alcohol Free Since April 2020

After 15+ years of heavy drinking, I had tried to quit countless times. AA didn’t work for me—I couldn’t relate to the idea of feeling powerless over alcohol. I needed something different, something that truly shifted my mindset rather than just helped me manage cravings.
That’s when I found The Stop Drinking Expert, and it completely changed my life. Craig Beck’s approach is unlike anything else out there. He doesn’t just tell you to stop drinking—he educates you on the truth about alcohol, the “beautifully packaged poison” we’ve all been conditioned to believe we need. Through his program, I finally saw alcohol for what it really is and, more importantly, what it was doing to me.
The combination of education, mindset shifts, and hypnosis was a game-changer. Instead of feeling like I was depriving myself, I felt like I was breaking free. The mental battle disappeared, and I no longer saw alcohol as something I wanted or needed in my life.
I’ve been alcohol-free since April 2020, and I can honestly say I have zero desire to go back. My life, health, and mindset have all improved in ways I never imagined. If you’re struggling to quit, and traditional methods haven’t worked for you, give this a try. It’s not about willpower—it’s about changing how you see alcohol.
This program didn’t just help me stop drinking. It gave me my life back.

Highly recommend!

The money back guarantee that isn’t.

Craig Beck offers a money-back guarantee, but with conditions—it only applies if you’ve fully engaged with the course and reached out to him for support. It does not cover buyer’s remorse, which, on the surface, seems reasonable. By structuring it this way, he shifts responsibility onto the individual. The problem is, what if the course simply isn’t of a high enough standard?

That was my experience. I gave it a fair shot but found it lacking in real value. When I requested a refund, he sent me the guarantee terms, which encouraged me to try again—a reasonable pushback. But the fundamental issue remained: the content itself just wasn’t good enough.
• Repetitive Structure: While repetition is clearly intentional, it doesn’t add much depth.
• False Claims and Oversimplifications: He makes statements that are factually incorrect—such as claiming that “your brain creates a piece of meat built by your DNA.” That’s simply untrue. While his intent may be to simplify complex ideas, misrepresenting basic biology undermines trust in the program. More broadly, his approach often reduces alcohol dependence to a simple mindset shift, ignoring the deep psychological, social, and physiological factors involved. Addiction is a complex condition that rarely has a one-size-fits-all solution, yet he presents his method as universally effective.
• Unverifiable Success Criteria: The idea that the course “works if you apply yourself 100%” is an impossible standard. This places all responsibility on the participant rather than acknowledging that addiction recovery is often non-linear and may require multiple approaches, including medical or therapeutic support.
• Undisclosed Pseudoscience: He promotes Thought Field Therapy (Tapping), a practice I don’t subscribe to, and there was no clear indication before purchase that this would be part of the program.
• Alarming Upsell to the Law of Attraction: He also pushes the Law of Attraction, suggesting that by sending love to two people and asking for one thing every day while keeping a journal, you’ll eventually receive what you desire. Not only is this completely unscientific, but it feels manipulative—an attempt to upsell another course rather than offer real, evidence-based support.

None of these concerns are covered by his guarantee, and when I followed up for a refund, he went silent. No response—not even a clear rejection. It leaves a bad impression, and I suspect I’m not the only one.

He frequently pushes for positive reviews, pointing to thousands of satisfied customers. But if he’s claiming hundreds of thousands of successful cases, why is the number of public endorsements so small in comparison? The disparity speaks volumes.
