Refusing to grant my rights
Update:
Had to downgrade my review because the shop ignores all messages of my requested right of withdrawal within my 2 weeks period.
It's now far over a month where I declared my right but they only responded with "ask qnap for support to fix the problem" and ignoring my request.
Of course I already got in contact with qnap before but my problem is well in known for qnap over 5 years and I do not expect any solutions shortly. But the shop ignores my rights.
A deadline has been set already, ending this year, after that, lawsuit will coming in.
Well, I was a bit hesitating at first since the reviews were mixed and didn't ever bought expensive stuff in EU stores.
Living in Germany, I was looking for the best deal for an QNAP TVS-AIh1688-ATX-U7-32G.
The prices of QNAP directly and resellers here are all over the top and I looked up European Shops with EU delivery.
Well, I found the best deal on that page so I wrote a message on the them and asked if they may deliver to Germany and if possible apply DE VAT instead of NL VAT and they did it, I even got a little bit of a discount, extra sweet. They accepted prepayment of close to 50%, because it was still a lot of money spend.
The estimated delivery time was 4 weeks from QNAP + 1 week to me, in total 5 weeks.
In total and with instant pay delivery time was 4 3/7 weeks.
Since I took it as an empty device, because hdd might break when the delivery man drops it on accident, the QNAP sealing has not been broken to my liking.
Also the communication with the sales team was convenient and fast response.
As for me, I had no issues so far and I hope the device will run and run and run.
