I rented a unit from storage World. Everything went well & the process was easy & seemless. I would like to thank Ben for all his help & assistance. It was invaluable as I live in Spain. I recommend storage World 100% & would definitely use them again if I needed to. Thank you

From the initial booking,to accessing the storage unit ,and finally ending the contract,everything has been organised and run extremely effeiently.The staff on site have been extremely helpful when asked. The Unit is situated in a safe easily accessible location, with the storage unit being clean and well maintained

Excellent service. Unit was very clean and we felt location was very secure. It was our first experience of using a storage facility and Ben made it very easy for us.

Lost all our worldly goods in the Fire at Storage World Middleton on June 18th 2025
Dont ever take storage without asking the questions! Checkout Fire Procedure and whether there is adequate cover should a Fire start
Insurance never skimp on insurance ever check the small print because should you need to claim they reduce clothes shoes bedding linen and the likes at a reduction of 50% which is shocking in itself as I've had to replace all these things and had to pay 100% full price !
Check the policy on electric bikes and lithium batteries
We weren't aware of these being stored or worked on in the unit so again ask the questions
You are putting your trust in the company to keep your most treasured possessions safe not for one minute did we think we wouldnt see any of our belongings again !

From making a enquiry to the day of rental they were polite in asking if was still interested this was mainly due to house move date not confirmed.
I email to ask for a look around received a fast response. Called in and the lady on reception was so helpful walked us around the maze of units and which was appreciated as I totally wanted the biggest and was quickly brought back down to reality by my wise wife who reminded me big isn't always better! Anyway they are definitely a fantastic company to deal with.

Well, four days later we lost everything we possessed in the Great fire of MIDDLETON while in between house move. Would never store anything again in a place like this. If you do make sure you over insure as we scoffed at "what's the worst that could happen " well it did.

I was a customer with storage world for about 2 years. I’ve just left as I’ve found a permanent place for all my stuff! The staff have always been friendly, welcoming, and helpful. They were quick to respond to queries. Recently Kane and James have been supportive with helping me move my stuff out. The building was always clean and well looked after. It felt safe and secure.

Absolutely brilliant!! Quick, efficient and professional. Even when I asked a lot of questions Ben and Steve were very patient and answered my questions fully.

I spoke with Karen and James over the phone, and I met with James in person. Both of them were very helpful, which made the storage process easy. The storage facilities are clean, well-maintained, and the prices are very affordable. I really appreciated the service. Thank you!

They got you to buy Insurance, when you ask them for the relevant insurance document that you bought, nothing. it sound suspisuously like a scam to me.

Facilities GOOD, Staff no so good.
The facilities at Manchester Airport site are clean modern and well designed with great access to the site. I've been a customer for approx six months in 2023.
However the onsite staff, even though polite, just sit in their office and do not 'Manager' the site at all.
Customers regularly block the loading bay, the lifts and the corridors and even though the staff can see all of this on the CCTV, they do nothing to stop any of it !!
This has happened on many occasions not just the once !
No matter what they reply below, (even if they do) there is no excuse not to manage the site properly.

Amazing, modern self storage facility. Thanks to Ben & Zuzanna for the help. It is the first time I had used the service, I got a quote online but then when I spoke to Ben on the phone and went through the list of items I was storing he ensured me I could get into a smaller unit to save me some money which I did. Great service, I would definitely recommend
