DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. Storyterrace went into administration at the end of 2023. The company knew this was going to happen but just days beforehand they still let me purchase two Swift ST packages for which I paid £1198. I bought two vouchers for my parents as a Christmas present but unfortunately they decided they did not want to go through this book writing process. I requested a refund in early January and was told that I would receive a full refund. After then calling and sending more than fifteen emails I was assured that my refund had been approved and was on the way. In May I was still being assured that I would receive a full refund. I was then informed that the company was in fact IN ADMINISTRATION and that I’d have to request a refund from the administrators. After receiving no replies to the multiple emails I sent to the administrator, on 18th June I was sent a full administrators’ report from which I gleaned that I would not receive a single penny back from this company. The company had started up again sometime after it went into administration and is still taking orders from customers and trading as Storyterrace. It is abhorrent that the company would accept my order, then agree to a full refund, ignore my subsequent emails and calls and effectively steal £1198 from me.

My experience has been very good. There was a slight hiccup but they sorted it out and the staff were very professional. They helped me do the book. They pointed me in the right direction suggested things which I either take or leave. They were very helpful. I'm very happy with the book how it has turned out. I am now ready for it to go online and for me to hit the world running

Back in or around late 2023 I had been inquiring about ghostwriting services through Story Terrace. I was working with a sales guy Ben. Who listened to my story idea and what I was wanting. He encouraged the premium writer package. It had 12500 words and a premium writer. I paid in a total of 3 installments. Two payments in Nov and December for $1,190 and then a lump payment of $3,570 in Jan equalling $5950. Soon after I was pushed into this, the company was sold. It has been a nightmare since. Very disorganized, the timeline for my book has been extended multiple times. After I finally got the first draft/outline it was so poorly written I couldn't believe so I had others read it without giving my opinion so not to influence theirs. They all came back saying it was so bad and hard to follow, like a kid wrote it. When I expressed this to ST they then told me that an AI wrote it. I NEVER! Would have agreed to an AI writing this. my story has trauma, rape, strong emotions that AI cannot describe! The writing the AI did of my violent rape was just so bad, It almost made me cry. Just a terrible experience overall! I have been seriously frustrated with the lack of communication and failure to make the requests and changes I have asked for. I am so disappointed in the drafts I have been given. Now to make matters worse not only are they asking for more money for something I ended up almost entirely writing myself, they seem to have lost record of my lump payment in Jan that I gave the sales rep over the phone. I want a full refund and I will write my own story. I no longer have faith in this company or whatever company bought them. This was clearly high pressure sales tactics used to get me to sign up and pay. I have filed a complaint with the BBB and they never responded so BBB closed it for lack of response from the business. I am now persuing the Attorney General and FTC. This is a scam and bait and switch!

Googled "how to get a book written & published" and Story Terrace came up. Have not been disappointed with the service I have received from start to finish. There were a couple of misunderstandings with my first interviews but these got rectified efficiently and Zoe & Alice have been extremely helpful in making my dream book become a reality.

I frequently told my family that I'd like to write about my early life - so different from my own children's and grandchildren's. Realising that I perhaps never would, they signed me up with Book Terrace.
I am so grateful that they did and that I have at last written my story before it's too late! It has been a most rewarding experience and everyone I have dealt with has been very pleasant, helpful and encouraging.
Possibly unusually, I actually wanted to write it myself, with professional guidance. I probably did not make that clear enough from the start. My first (very lovely) writer was willing but not really at ease with what I needed.
I would advise anyone wanting to use their own words to make it clear from the start before choosing a 'writer'. That is advice, in no way a criticism!

From the introductory meeting to the final publication, the whole process was straightforward and professionally supported throughout.
Due to close family bereavements, it was necessary to extend our deadline, and this was arranged with thoughtfulness and care.
All amendments were quickly dealt with and appropriate advice provided throughout.
If anyone is thinking of writing a book but not sure how to go about it, I would recommend speaking with Story Terrace and see if they can help … they certainly did with us!

I found the experience therapeutic, my writer was the most kind and empathetic soul en the support with explanations and time management was hugely helpful(and needed!)

I would never have been able to write the story of my son’s life without the care patience and support of Beverly who transcribed and Alice the editor. I would highly recommend StoryTerrace. Can’t thank them enough for making quite an emotional journey a really good experience.

Ultimately we got an autobiography written for my father-in-law which is of great quality and will be cherished for generations. The entire process of writing such a book, especially for elderly person is not so easy (for lots of reasons). My main feedback to StoryTerrace would be to set better expectations for their clients. For example there is a limit to how well the ghost writer can edit the interviews - it needs someone with intimate knowledge of the person's life to really know how to properly edit, so in many ways it is a joint effort between between the ghost writer and the subject (or someone on the subject's behalf). However StoryTerrace are a professional company and are very polite and accepting of changes throughout the process. I would use them again.

Story Terrace is an excellent company to write your own story, the personnel are very experienced and very professional, the writer allocated to me was brilliant.

Correspondence between ourselves, the editor and senior writer was fluid, with guided assistance along every step of the way. The site is user friendly, and each step clearer explained.

Captivate my Story perfectlly. It was an emmotional journey going back through my tramatic childhood to this ripe old age of 74. Finding the right help for my story was not easy. Then I remembered I saw Stoyr Terrance on the BBC Dragon's Den, I then thought, what a brilliant idea to wite books for people like me who knows nothing about crafting a books?
The book writting with Story Terrace has been a wonderful experience. I didnt realize that there are so many people involved in getting a book done.

I am over the moon with my finish project. Everything about my book is just brilliant and beautifuliy writen. Now, I just have to say thanks to Storry Terrace and teams for such an amazing book, so happy I could cry.

When ever you have an issue their stock answer is to say contact customer services but they are based in the states and always have a good excuse for not doing anything. You watch their reply will say contact customer services.
