Customer service is a joke

Customer service is a joke. I've had issues since day one of purchasing a device. And couldn't get it to work for 21 days after 20 calls and multiple hours it was fixed but I was only offered 6 days of service as compensation. If there is a class action law suit I'm joining.

Have not had a phone after the update …

Have not had a phone after I have put time on the phone and been trying to deal with them for 6 days and 5 recording and they still can't fix the problem spoke to a supervisor that said to have the phone unlock it was end of the day and call back the next day and they will fix still not fix after$ 265.00 and still nothing so had to get another unlocked phone to go to another carrier will never tell someone to go to straight talk the service and the reps don't understand English good cause all they want to do is tell u turn on turn off phone so for my experience was not a good one after being with them over 7 years and will never go back to straight talk again and like said never refer anyone to them

ok i am only giving this 5 stars due to the last person who actually cared and did his job very well!!!!! i had an issue with a new phone talked to a few others and none could help or get to the bottom of it and the one was very rude and had me crying he didn't want to be helping me i could tell he was sick of me and thought i was stupid and annoying he was loud and would talk over me and interrupt me on purpose kept sighing and being over all very unpleasant. finally, my kid came and hung up on him cuz it was a nightmare we called back got another kind man right away but he couldn't figure it out either but he was nice and didn't get nasty with me he then helped me get someone higher up and let me say it was awesome turned the entire thing around he goes by Ed he said and he was so so kind and patient walked me through everything again he let me speak and actually listened to me he spent 2 hours or more trying to help me he fixed everything they all had messed up in like 5 mins and i was happy he then even gave us a break and called me right back when he said he would and he still kept trying so hard to get my last issue fixed didn't happen but he said he would gladly call me back tom after work to continue to help!!!just made my night so much better i loved him and wish i could get him every time he loves his job and it shows very very kind person and helping without making you feel stupid and lost.

Absolutely disgusting customer service…

Absolutely disgusting customer service they charged me for something I did not authorize and did not explain a thing about. I spent hours chatting with customer on my vacation and was told several times they could do nothing for me. DO NOT PAY FOR THIS TRASH SERVICE!

This company is garbage.

This is the worst company ever since they have ai doing their phone system. Stupid trash is all this company is. Their new ai assistant doesn't know how to take payments or give information and hangs uo when you ask for assistance or an agent. BBB has been notified and I'm looking into a lawsuit for lost payments and time.

Service Carrier from Hell

Couldn't access my voicemail until I switched to a different carrier. Funny thing was the voicemail wasnt why I switched- they messed up my SIM, refused to fix it, and then hung up on me. Didn't realize my voicemail didnt work because of straight talk until I switched and suddenly I had access. Thought it was just my phone the whole time. Customer service is ass, and so is their service in general.

STOP

STOP! Do not go with Straight Talk! Their customer service is terrible. Navigating their website is very slow and difficult. If you have an issue and the service representative can't, or won't, help and you ask to speak with a supervisor they flat out refuse to connect you with one.

Run! Run for your life!

Sewer line backups are now more preferable than dealing with Straight Talk customer service. Never used to need their customer service, but over the past few years? It's gotten exasperating to say the least! With their computer-generated question and answer game that goes in circles, it ultimately ends up cutting you off with no resolution to your inquiries or problems!
I'm hoping to dump these yayhoo's and be signed up with a different carrier by the end of next month!
Good riddance when I do!!!

This company is fraudulent. They take your money but somehow the phone or order is missing and you, the customer have to pay for their negligence. Please stay away and warn others! They steal your money. Please go to a more reputable and reliable company. This company isn't!

Straight Talk used to be 4 or 5☆ UNTIL Verizon acquired them. Now service sucks! When I call I want to talk to a HUMAN not go round & round with a digital "person". I frequently cannot connect to the internet using Verizon. It says "can't connect to the internet" even though in my settings it shows Im connected!!! What the heck??

Went online to order a new phone

Went online to order a new phone. I've been a customer for over 10 years. Have ordered new phones before without a problem. Website told me the order didn't go through. So, I call. They confirm it didn't go through for some reason, said try again. Tried again, same thing, called again, was told again it didn't go through. Tried again...then, suddenly, got an email saying the first one went through! I called again and they were able to reverse the 3rd one, but only after I had been charged almost $800 in 3 hours! They said they could stop the second order and to just send the phone back when I got it. The phone arrived and I called multiple time to try to find out how to send it back without having to pay for it. They gave me wrong info and UPS said they couldn't return it that way. I had to go out of town, so it had to wait until after a holiday to try again since UPS was closed. I called again. Was told to use the return label. That didn't work and UPS ended up sending me BACK THE PHONE. I called again, this time was told I would get a QR code so I didn't have to pay for the shipping for a phone I didn't need to order because they screwed up by telling me my first order didn't go through. Took the phone to UPS again, the QR code wouldn't open, the shipping label wouldn't open. I ended up paying to send the phone back! I was told, over and over in multiple phone calls that my refund would be 1-3 business days. On April 13 was told it would be 60 days. They screw up, then they lie, over and over and over. They have no idea what they are doing and I will never use them again once this phone is old and I change carriers. They now have the $212.11 of mine, and the phone. If it doesn't get refunded then they get the money and the product and I get screwed.

Refund

Bought 2 phones from straight talk via phone order. 20 minutes later cancelled order because my carrier gave me a better deal when zi called to cancel service. That was April 6th. They had shipped one phone never received it they recalled it and got it back on the 13th. On April 20th was told I would receive refund in 24 to 72 hours. Today April 22, 2026, they now tell me. they have no record of my refund ticket number and refunds can take up to 30 days. Will never do business with them.

I recently went online to explore Straight‑Talk’s plans & phones🤳, and I was genuinely impressed by how affordable the family plans are😍. What a blessing in today’s world!!!💖🌎 I also noticed there were extra ways to save, especially if your phones are compatible with the Verizon network.🤑Naturally, I wanted to check whether mine were — so I clicked on the CHAT SUPPORT button.💬
Now, I’ll be honest… I usually avoid chat support🗣️ bc most places aren’t very helpful. BUT this time, I was pleasantly surprised.😃
I was connected with "CHEYEN", and Cheyen completely changed my whole experience.
Cheyen was patient, knowledgeable, and incredibly kind.☺️ Cheyen answered every question clearly and even reminded me of something important that I had completely forgotten: if you want to keep your current phone number, do NOT cancel your old service until the number has been transferred. I’m so grateful she mentioned that, because I would have forgotten and I definitely want to keep my number — I’ve had it for years, and I don’t want to have to call everyone I know with an updated number.
Chatting with Cheyen was like a breath of fresh air.🌬️It has been a long time since I’ve received customer service this good, especially through a chat window. Cheyen went above & beyond, and I truly could not have asked for a better representative.👍
Bc of this experience, I strongly believe Straight‑Talk should add a review page "specifically" for chat support agents. It would help highlight who is providing excellent service and who may need improvement. It would also give the company a clear view of what’s happening behind the scenes — and allow them to recognize the people who genuinely deserve it. 👏
And let me be very clear: CHEYEN deserves recognition.🙌 Whether it’s a raise💵 , a bonu💰, or even a simple gift card💳, appreciation matters🤍🌟. Good customer service is rare these days✨, and when you have an employee who takes great pride in their work🤩 and treats customers with integrity💫, that should never go unnoticed.👀 Those small acts🤏 of appreciation go a long way👐 — better service🎖️ brings better business.📊📈
