Casa Sophia is centrally located in Ortigia. Easy to find and of course close to everything!
The apartment is compact, but has all you need to make your stay here a great experience!

Casa Sophia was so quaint, in the heart of Ortigia, Alessandra was wonderful and very responsive and so friendly. It had all the facilities we needed, the terrace was an added bonus so pretty . Marked it down a star as it was very noisy. The location was perfect and so was Ortigia, thank you 😊

An amazing place in the narrow alleyways of Ortigia. From booking to check-in, the process was flawless. The place was amazing. Plenty of space and all updated amenities necessary for a wonderful stay. Our contact, Alessandra, was responsive and ready to help us with anything we needed. A gem!

We had the best experience staying at the Sudest Homes! It was in the perfect location in town. The room had everything we needed, blow dryer, iron, ect. The jacuzzi was perfect after a long travel day.

We had an excellent experience in the Via Cavour apartment. It was the perfect location for exploring Ortigia, and the air conditioning was nice to come back to. Alessandra was very helpful an communicative. Thanks!

Honestly, I’m not sure where to start this review. Let me just preface this by saying my expectations were quite high.

Lucky for me, both Piedpedro and Alessandra (managers of the property) were amazing. They answered any and all questions, gladly accommodated any need we had and followed us up to make sure we had the best possible stay. And I have to say, Alessandra is the most incredibly sweet and attentive host I’ve met.

Now, for the price we paid, this is by far the best value accommodation we found. The apartment is beautifully quaint, but still has all the modern facilities you’d want. Not to mention, the place both looks better and is bigger, compared to the pictures. As a bonus, the upstairs neighbor has the most adorable cat.

I might not have known where to start, but I do know where to end this: Please don’t rent this place next July, because I’m definitely going back there.

I just can thank you for the accommodation, the reservation, the cleaning, the transportation to the airport and the always available support during my stay in Lampedusa.

Alessandra is the most caring and friendly host of the 3 weeks we were in italy. She is excited about her city and eager to help with everything. The apartment is wonderful with a large bathroom upstairs where the bedroom is, and a little toilet downstairs. The sink in the bathroom was huge, great if you want to hand wash little items. There is even a washing machine. The host also provided hotel size shampoo and soap, which is most appreciated. The only suggestion for improvement would be a roll of paper towel but that is extremely minor.

Our two-week stay at Casa Tal was nothing short of incredible. Not only is it on a quiet corner in the middle of everything on Ortigia (which is gorgeous, by the way), but we also felt extremely well taken care of. I did not expect to have what was essentially a concierge service thanks to Alessandra, our greeter and host at Casa Tal. She helped to set up transport for us when we needed it, shared amazing local recommendations (as she is a local herself), and made sure our apartment was made spotless with a complete linen/garbage change every 3 days. Everything in the house was restored and updated with immense attention to detail and it felt like a home away from home. We also lucked out with a beautiful welcome basket chock full of olive oil, pasta, coffee, cookies, and other staples for an extended stay. I honestly can’t wait to come back to Ortigia, even if only to stay at this glorious apartment again. Loved the balcony and the layout across 3 floors (top floor is lofted). Not a huge kitchen, but certainly manageable for full course meals! I can’t recommend this place enough.

We had an amazing time in the apartment in Ortigia! It was a small but very nice apartment, it had everything we needed. The bed was super comfortable and everything was clean. Attached to the apartment there were two terraces where we could sit in the afternoon and have a drink. The contact with Alessandra was also very good, she was so helpful and very kind with everything and always available. We would definitely recommend this!

The apartment was clean, the location is great and the hosts were more than welcoming and accommodating. Definitely going back!

Wow - what a beautiful place and what a fantastic location! Via Cavour runs through the centre of Ortigia and this rooftop studio with a terrace is superb for anybody who enjoys a G&T at sunset overlooking this historic city. 

Alessandra was superb - we arrived early, at lunchtime, and she recommended a typical Sicilian restaurant (located down a side street we'd probably never have found) which was wonderful, and followed this up with other eating & drinking recommendations, all of which were perfect. She met us outside the property - exactly as arranged - showed us around - and checked us out in the same way at the end - all seamlessly. 

In short, I couldn't recommend the property and Alessandra highly enough. Grazie per tutti!

The apartment was very clean and comfortable and we were given some very good recommendations for places to visit and eat. Highly recommended using them if you are planning a trip to Sicily.

The place was amazing and we loved every bit of it. The location was great for exploring, you are at most 20 mins walk from everything. The best bit was the terrace as it was so nice to come back and sit outside.

Alessandra was always happy to help and helped us out with anything we needed, this was the best place we stayed on our trip!

The apartment is exceptional, simply beautiful! Everything is brand new, well equipped, chic and the location couldn’t be better. Just around the corner is the covered parking in case you come with the car. Never wanted to leave again. Alessandra did her outmost to make feel comfortable. Thank you and I shall return :)
