I ordered a complete solar set (Deye…

I ordered a complete solar set (Deye 8kW inverter with 24 panels, 3 batteries, and an ICTPower generator) right before Christmas, planning to install it for a client. Their tech support promised to be available if I needed assistance—but when the problems came, they were nowhere to be found.

I had major issues getting the generator to work with the Deye inverter. Only later did I find out that the auto-start relay is not installed by default—something they never communicated. This missing relay could have seriously damaged the generator.

On top of that, they advised me to use too many panels for this inverter (3 panels over the limit), which could have damaged the inverter.

As an installer, I will never do business with this company again. Their focus is not on supporting professionals or standing by their products, but on finding excuses to avoid warranty obligations.
