Many thanks for your review and your feedback! LEt us address your comments:

1) A stable internet connection is indeed mandatory for running our system via the cloud. The Wi-Fi module of our batteries usually does not drop its signal, so we suspect that it might be your router. If you encounter this issue repeatedly, please contact our support via support@sunlitsolar.de and they will be happy to help.

2) When you use the cloud to control our system, it favours a slower reaction time to protect the components from continuous minor adjustments in the output power. Especially the mechanical components in the micro inverters might be affected over time. We also ran internal calculations based on the data of our users that showed the actual "energy wastage" over the course of multiple years is minimal in comparison to the necessity to replace a micro inverter after a few years due to constant strain.

We do appreciate that some of our users still prefer a faster and more responsive system regardless of the downsides, and thus we offer the option to control it locally via DTU and soon via a full Home Assistant integration. In both cases, our system adjusts within seconds. If any of those options sound interesting to you and you require additional information, please feel free to reach out to our support.
