I needed an office for one and after visiting every company in the area I found Surrey Estates to be the best option for me by far. My requirements were a good-sized open space so I could work comfortably, flexibility and fast and reliable internet - and I got the lot.
It’s a five minute walk from East Croydon station, easily reachable from Victoria and London Bridge. Thankfully, it is not one of the shiny soulless corporate offices that are cramped and have no-privacy plastic ‘walls’. Surrey Estates is based in a historical building that’s lived in, has character, steep stairs in and rock solid walls.
My room is spacious and airy and this has been so great for me as I can work productively for hours without wanting to leave. Internet speed via Wi-FI is at least 260MB+ download AND upload essential for my tasks. It’s even faster via ethernet.
There are security cameras throughout so there’s safety and peace of mind. I’ve got to meet a few of the other leasers in the kitchen breakout area. They’re a mix of different backgrounds, different ages and most have a positive energy.
Best of all is that there are no hidden extra charges, literally just the room cost. I examined other office spaces’ contracts that added charges for setup and moving in and moving out and cleaning costs etc, cheeky.
I’ve been very happy with my experience at Surrey Estates.
Had two stints using the offices at Enterprise House.
First as a start up company, where money was tight.
The support Jim and Robert provided through out my stay (3 years) was first class, from setting up internet access to providing business advice and support, nothing was to much trouble.
We returned again after a few years away (moved out of the area).
Very pleased to find, that the standards had remained and the prices were still very competitive for the Croydon Town Centre.
I would have no hesitation in highly recommending the team at Surrey Estates if you are seeking perhaps your first office or looking to switch to a new one.

Superb Office space and above and beyond service from the management team. Though there were very few, any issues that arose were always resolved quickly, and the team were always very hands on and present to help with things that were well outside of the remit of their roles. I would recommend this to anyone looking to have office space in South London. Great location for travel into central London and easy access to stations and airports.

I have only been here 1 month, but I am very happy so far. Everything is very transparent when speaking with Jim who is the manager. The commmunal spaces are clean and there are cameras set up which gives you peace of mind when it comes to safety and sercurity. Would recommend for start up businesses and established ones too, as there seems to be room to grow accordingly.

Was looking for an office in either Croydon or central London. This worked out the best deal - near East Croydon station so easy for London, but cheaper than a central London office. The building is not modern which might put some off. It's above a pub so there is some noise in the evenings. Internet is decent. I can plug my own voip phones in and so far I've not been charged anything extra for anything. Also looked at AMP house and Easyhub. These worked out more expensive and had more complicated billing. But they are more modern, though.

I've been renting an office at Surrey Estates for 4 years now. They are great value offices with no hidden extras, unlike other places I checked out when searching. Also a bonus, is the rent is a fixed fee per room instead of being charged on the number of people occupying the office.

The place to go to rent a small office in Croydon. The location is central (George Street), and very convenient for tram, bus and rail links. The only bugbear is/are the vertiginous stairs, which can be rather daunting at the end of the day - still, they are very good exercise!
