Lessons are very well planned, I have two children at different levels taught together and the instructor is very engaging for both. Lots of choice for time/days to choose from.

Used Swimexpert for both my daughters - previously the older one and currently the younger one over the past few years. Great business. They have been brilliant with both and we can't recommend them enough. Holly B continues to do great for us. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

We can't give enough praise to Alex for his friendly approach and the spectacular results he achieved with our daughter over a period of just a few weeks. She had previously been plodding through the stages at our local town pool with the classes given. Then she had a truly terrible teacher when she went up a group and was going nowhere - that organisation wasn't interested in feedback or improving, so a quick search found Swim Expert and Alex was our man at a nearby small pool for private lessons. The difference was noticeable and very soon her confidence, style/technique and method was surging ahead. The best investment we made in recent years was a course of private lessons with Alex at Swim Expert! Maya's now back at the council pool, up a group and showing them how it's done thanks for the jet propelled progress we enjoyed with you!

We have had James teaching our son to swim for a few months now and ever since the first lesson he has been fantastic, making learning to swim such fun and improved our sons confidence in the water. We would 100% recommend Swim Expert as a company for anybody wanting to learn or improve their swimming.

Dylan is a fantastic swimming teacher. He really takes the time to understand each child and what motivates them, making lessons both effective and fun. He’s patient, flexible and always willing to try different approaches to keep things engaging. Our son absolutely loves his lessons, where all the learning happens through play, and has made incredible progress. This was our first experience with private swimming lessons, and it has been so much better than we could have imagined. We’re really grateful to Dylan for his thoughtful, intuitive and highly tailored teaching and would recommend him unreservedly.

We have used swimexperts (Elliot) for our 5 year old as he didn’t have any confidence in the water & wasn’t progressing at all in group lessons. Within 8 lessons he was like a different child, confident to swim with his head underwater & without a float. He loves swimming now. We are amazed how much Elliot has managed to achieve in such a short space of time. Amazing value for money, we would recommend to anyone.

Omar is an excellent swimming coach for my daughter,Joud. He helped her progress from the first level to nearly the third. He was patient and kind with her, helping her regain her self-confidence and love for swimming. I highly recommend him.

I cannot recommend Robert at Maidstone Centre enough as a swimming teacher! He is incredibly skilled, patient, and professional. I initially took lessons with him for myself, and his teaching style made me feel confident and comfortable in the water. After seeing such great progress, I enrolled my two daughters in his lessons as well, and they absolutely love learning with him. Robert’s ability to tailor his approach to suit different skill levels is impressive, and he always creates a fun and encouraging environment.

Thanks to Robert, we’ve all become stronger and more confident swimmers. Highly recommend him to anyone looking to improve their swimming skills!

My daughters have been having classes her but such terrible service. The swimming instructor is fine but horrid people at Customer service. My booked sessions get cancelled and time slots given to someone else. Instructor keeps changing, no complaints policy. Thanks to Sally and Karen , who are both really difficult, I have decided to discontinue this swimming school. My girls made no progress because of frequent changes, cancelled sessions and there is clearly no accountability .

I bought a set of 5 one to one lessons for my son who is 2. I was told his teacher for these lessons would be Maribel which I thought was great for consistency especially when teaching a toddler. We arrived for our first lesson and there is no one available to greet you, tell you where the changing rooms are, check you in or give you any kind of instruction, which on a first lesson leaves you feeling a bit bewildered. There was children still in the lessons prior to my sons so I changed my son on poolside and as he was having a one to one lesson I guessed where he would be going based on the previous classes and one to one lesson set up. Once the previous lesson finished I waited to see if the teacher gets out to greet but they did not so I approached the teacher with my son and with nothing being said, I let the teacher know his name, age and my main objective for his lessons. He then went on to have a good lesson which he enjoyed. My advice would be get to your first lesson in plenty of time to suss everything out as there is no help when it comes to that! Following this lesson my son had a different teacher, although we were not made aware of this. During this second lesson my son was not given arm bands and on two occasions was allowed to fall into the water and be fully submerged, something that is quite disturbing for such a young child especially in the presence of a new person and said person not being particularly engaging for a young child. The following two lessons my son had included another new teacher and then back to the original teacher however my son refused to enter the pool following the incident his previous lesson. Following two failed lessons I contacted swim expert to pass on my feedback and about how now only one lesson was actually getting my moneys worth however swim experts advice was to carry on buying swimming lessons with them and they will give me one free of charge. Laughable as the experience was no where near good enough to be a returning customer and the customer service following basically dismissed what I said and they only wanted me to pay for more!

I would avoid if you value your money and spend elsewhere where the set up is user friendly and the customer service is good!

Highly recommend Emily who is a swimming teacher in Oxford. She has excellent personal and professional skills. Emily has a special approach to her clients depending on their individual needs and goals.

Our nine year old was making no progress at all in her one to one swimming lessons with another company. When I approached SwimExpert, Sophie on the booking phone line was so lovely and so helpful. She got us booked in with Alister in Cardiff and he's just been utterly brilliant. He's so good with our daughter, his teaching style is patient, kind and fun and she's like a different child in the water. She looks forward to lessons and is so much more confident. Can't recommend Alister highly enough!

Bethany immediately made me and my 4 year old feel at ease, and she is able to encourage him to try new things without putting any pressure on him. She is flexible in her approach and he responds to being given options of what to do when. He's gone from refusing to go to group swimming lessons to looking forward to his swim time each week. We initially booked 5 sessions as a trial, and have immediately signed up for a block of 20.

I am a very nervous beginner and also a new mother, so I did lots of research before booking lessons with SwimExpert and saw many great and positive reviews, but unfortunately this was not the experience I had.

My first lesson was suddenly cancelled 90 minutes before it was due to start, with all future lessons also put on hold. Unfortunately it has taken weeks for them to find a replacement instructor and communication since then has been quite poor, and I felt my concerns and requests were not being listened to.

I have updated this review as eventually I was granted a refund and have had a very nice conversation with the customer service team, who were very apologetic for the situation and I felt that my feedback was heard and responded to appropriately.

I believe the experience I have had with them is uncommon but for me my experience with SwimExpert did not work out.
