My first experience with SwimTrek in the Sea of Cortez was excellent. The location was first of all very safe and welcoming. The choices of ocean water were ideal for new to experienced swimmers and the staff’s attention to each swimmer for safety was very much appreciated. Thank you for the well-organized trip for us! No wonder many swimmers are coming back regular basis!

Had the best week of my life swimming in The Maldives with our guides, Giulia and Allessandra, and the crew of Carpe Vita. Lovely long swims in crystal clear water and the sea life was phenomenal – coral, fish, turtles, dolphins and even sharks! Great food and plenty of it. The guides were knowledgable and fun. I felt safe the entire time. Would do it again in a heartbeat!

Wonderful trip in a beautiful location. The hotel was amazing. The dhow was one of the best boats I have had so far on a swimtrek trip, very spacious for the 15 swimmers plus the guides and boat crew. Best to have dinner outside the hotel for better pricing and to explore the city of Khasab. There are many restaurants to chose from. Khasab is well worth exploring.

This was my second SWIMTREK holiday and it was excellent. The guides were helpful, knowledgable and created a very positive and inclusive environment. A preceding storm meant that some of our planned swims had to be altered and they organised alternative swim experiences for us too.

Swim Trek finds affordable swimming vacations in beautiful waters. The guides are trained on safety and providing a fun swim experience for any level of swimmer. Private tours with your swim team are an option or individuals can join a trip and make new friends.

Swimtrek provide the ultimate holiday experience for keen swimmers and people who would like to try open water swimming, have fun and meet new friends.
Safety is a huge priority which means that swimmers can feel relaxed and at ease in the water under the supervision of the guides. Whilst fun is encouraged, safety remains top priority.
The locations are beautiful and hotels clean and comfortable.
Food provided is freshly prepared and nutritious, very welcome after a long swim.
I have done four SwimTrek holidays and could not recommend more highly.

Just completed my first SwimTrek experience in the Red Sea on a liveaboard boat. It was a total of 7 nights and we had 6 full swim days …… averaging 5 km per day. Which involves a morning swim and an afternoon swim.
It exceeded any expectations I may have had and I felt safe and very well taken care of at all times!!
For anyone who loves to swim and also loves adventure….. I couldn’t recommend this trip enough,

I had a fantastic experience on the Oman Fjords holiday. The trip was very well organised from start to finish, with excellent communication and seamless logistics throughout. Each swim offered something different - from stunning coastal scenery and dramatic cliffs to crystal clear bays and open water challenges. The variety of locations kept every day exciting and memorable. The swim guides John and Hannah were exceptional - supportive, professional and encouraging - making even the more challenging swims both safe and enjoyable. A truly rewarding and unforgettable adventure.

This trip was an absolutely wonderful experience! As a non-swimmer (I know how to swim, I just don't swim), I was apprehensive. The guides and the rest of the group were so supportive and fun, and I successfully completed all swims - being distracted by all the sea life was a big help!

On this holiday we had excellent guides, felt very well looked after, great boat crew with very good on board food. Comfortable hotel, and lucky with the weather late in the season.

My first experience was so good that it would be hard to top it! I will be back in the water with SwimTrek.

Amazing experience in Baja California, 5 days off the grid. Beautiful place full of marine life and amazing history. Superbly organized considering the numerous logistics challenges of hosting a group in a natural reserve far from the mainland. Wholeheartedly recommended!

I joined SwimTrek for their fjord swimming holiday in Montenegro and it was nothing short of transformative. From the moment we arrived, the guides were warm, knowledgeable and quietly brilliant, striking the perfect balance between safety, encouragement and freedom. Every swim felt like a ritual: calm waters, gentle pacing and the kind of camaraderie that only comes from shared adventure.

The itinerary was thoughtfully designed, with just enough challenge to feel accomplished and plenty of time to soak in the scenery and stories. I felt supported as a solo swimmer and celebrated as part of a group. The swims themselves were stunning - clear water, dramatic cliffs and the various star fish sightings didn’t hurt. The lake wasn’t clear, but it was a great experience swimming in different water types.

SwimTrek doesn’t just offer holidays. They offer experiences that stay with you. I left feeling stronger, lighter and more connected to the sea and myself. The group were great too - great to meet like minded people who like swimming just as much as I do. Already booked my next (and third) one.

What’s phenomenal first time experience to Lan Ha Bay, Vietnam. The guides were knowledgeable, safety oriented, friendly and willing to help you and keep the environment safe. They made a huge difference in making this trip fun.
