Account Terminated Despite Full Rights Documentation
This review comes from the same label that previously left a 5-star verified review for Symphonic in 2025, praising their support and professionalism during our early collaboration.
Unfortunately, our experience has changed drastically.
A release that had been previously reviewed and approved by Symphonic, with full contractual documentation on file, was later flagged after a routine edit in the dashboard. We were asked to resubmit rights documentation, which we did promptly and in full — including contracts, chain of title, and clarification of derivative/remix rights.
Despite full cooperation and clear documentation, the case was left in an OPEN state with no substantive review or engagement. Shortly after, our entire partner account was permanently terminated, citing broad terms such as “account irregularities” and “DSP policy circumvention,” without any specific explanation or opportunity for dialogue.
No formal copyright infringement was ever confirmed, yet:
All content was taken down
Account access was revoked immediately
Royalties were withheld
Communication was unilaterally closed
What is most concerning is not that Symphonic enforces compliance — that is expected — but the lack of transparency, due process, and consistency once a case is escalated internally. Prior approvals, complete documentation, and cooperative communication ultimately provided no protection or clarity.
Based on this experience, labels and rights holders should understand that:
Prior approval does not guarantee stability
Accounts may be terminated at discretion without detailed justification
Even full legal documentation may not result in a meaningful review
This outcome stands in stark contrast to the experience that led us to initially recommend Symphonic, and it has significantly impacted our trust in them as a long-term distribution partner.

Good customer service is invaluable
Symphonic has introduced this novice to the music video world and provided prompt, accurate information when I have requested help - not only referring me to their well-written FAQ's and directions for completing registrations and submitting videos or art tracks but also direct answers via e-mail from a "real" person.

Very bad experience with Symphonic.
Very bad experience with Symphonic.
My account has been blocked for more than a week, and I am unable to log in using Google login or email/password. The system keeps redirecting me to a new subscription payment page, even though my account was already active with live releases.
At the time of this issue, my account had approximately $800 in earnings pending, and due to the sudden account access block, I am unable to view, manage, or withdraw my earnings.
I have contacted support multiple times via email and support tickets, and also reached out on X (Twitter), but there has been no response or resolution even after many days.
Because of this lack of support, I cannot access my dashboard, fix rejected releases, or manage my catalog. This has caused serious financial and professional issues.
Extremely disappointed with the support and communication. I hope Symphonic takes responsibility and resolves account access issues promptly.

⚠️ Lack of professionalism and failure to meet commitments
They are thieves!
My contract with this company was terminated, but before that their own team clearly told me in writing that if I provided solid and verifiable evidence of ownership, they would review their decision and the royalty situation.
I complied with their request and submitted official documents issued by BMI (Broadcast Music Inc.), which legally prove my rights to several works.
Despite this, no clear response, no payment of the royalties due, and above all no respect for their own written commitments.
Even in case of end of collaboration, the royalties generated by works whose ownership is proven must be paid. The silence and refusal of payment unfortunately give the impression that this company is withholding income that does not belong to it.
Very disappointing experience. I recommend any artist to document every exchange and exercise extreme caution.
