ComplaintComplaint: Distributor removed over 300 Christian albums and destroyed 4 years of original work
Complaint: Distributor removed over 300 Christian albums and destroyed 4 years of original work
I am a songwriter and author with over 300 original Christian albums released on digital platforms. These works are part of a literary and musical project with spiritual and social purpose. All content is original, and the project was in its final stage of release — with only 40 albums remaining to complete the catalog.
At this point, the distributor claimed there were “errors” in the releases. I immediately questioned:
“If those 40 albums are incorrect, then the other 300 — which were already online and functioning properly — would be as well? They all follow the same structure.”
In response, my account was blocked without any notice. After I publicly raised the issue, I was told I had only 7 days to remove all published content — something technically impossible, considering the project includes over a thousand tracks and hundreds of interconnected links via QR Codes printed in physical books already distributed.
Unprotected music and unauthorized copies
By deleting my account, the distributor also canceled the Content ID, the system responsible for automatically protecting my works from unauthorized use.
This left all of my music exposed.
And worse: we have already identified several tracks being illegally copied and reuploaded by third parties. This damage will be addressed.
Every unprotected song represents years of hard work made vulnerable, solely due to the company’s decision.
Irreparable damage
❌ Over 300 original Christian albums removed
❌ All printed material rendered useless (QR Codes no longer functional)
❌ National distribution canceled, with hundreds of physical copies already in production
❌ Official launch interrupted
❌ Official project website compromised, as all links were deleted
❌ Content ID canceled, allowing illegal duplication
❌ Unauthorized copies of songs already detected, causing direct financial and moral damage
Final statement
I will not remain silent.
This was not just a contract breach — it was the complete destruction of a legitimate, protected body of work.
The distributor chose to delete, block, expose, and silence. Now, they will face the consequences.
All appropriate legal measures are already being taken, and full accountability will be pursued.

Worst ever distributor times
Well, if you want to stay with your release in inspection for 2-3 weeks minimum, then these guys are for you. Replying after a week if you ask something. I have distributed with minimum 5 other distributors in the past and here is the worst ever support. This happened with my 3 latest releases. Also, they advertise some"marketing tool" just to get an eye catch for their visitors..in reality, just forget about them too...as you wont make it anywhere without a proper budget (not hundreds, but more).
Conclusion: they act as they wish, when they wish and how they wish without care of others.

I am so grateful
Hi, I am a music artist and I go by the name CrestIsMuzik. Since the beginning of working with symphonic, Vanessa Schiano has helped us be able to navigate through the system of artist development and helping us achieve the our goals at that point of time in my career. I think symphonic is an amazin platform/machine that provides a lot of tools that can and will help a lot of us artists achieve our goals and will help get to where they need to be in their career. Whenever I needed help understanding anything Mrs. Schiano was there for me every step of the way. She would respond very fast so any email that my team sent to her. I just wanna say that I’m very happy here and satisfied with all the help and work that’s been done by symphonic in Vanessa, can’t wait to see what the future has in store for all of us. Thank you so much.

I have been with symphonic for a few YEARS now .. and I kid you not, they are up front and I have never ever had any beef what so ever with them .. if you want honest direct service with no drama, symphonic is where it's at .. no hidden Agendas ever have I experienced with symphonic.. one of the best things about symphonic is that they explain any new narratives that come about In
The ever changing music world, all you have to do is ask and they will provide the answer within days if not hours allowing you plan your next moves on strategy.. I feel a they care becuase you do vibe and I am bot being paid to say this either .. look no further symphonic is the way .. not forgetting there ties with organization relating to outside rayatioies.... at a fee outside of symphonic but at least the hook ups are there and provided by them for you to make your own mind up as to how you as an artist want to go .. a factor often overlooked by other dsp .that will have you put music up and that's it (flat lined no prosperity) I could go on bit check them out

Update 10/2 – Withholding $8,400+ in Royalties – Legal Action Pending
Update 10/2: After two years of withholding over $8,400 in royalties and no direct response since December 2024, Symphonic has ignored my formal demand sent September 23.
I’ve now filed complaints with FDACS and the BBB and am preparing to turn this over to legal counsel for recovery of my royalties and potential damages.
I’ve also noticed multiple other artists posting similar reviews here — this appears to be a larger issue. Unless this is resolved immediately, my attorney will be handling all further communication.
Update: Symphonic has now replied publicly here on Trustpilot claiming they “provided clarification privately.” This is false — I have not received any email, update, or response since December 3, 2024, despite sending two formal demands this past week.
They continue to withhold over $8,000 of my royalties due to a dispute involving a single track that earned $15.41 — and have failed to provide any legal documentation, timeline, or itemized breakdown.
I’ve filed a formal complaint with the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services (FDACS) and am in the process of submitting a BBB complaint. I will also be sharing this situation with artist communities to prevent others from being harmed by similar practices.
Symphonic has been holding over $8,000 of my royalties for more than two years due to a legal dispute involving one track that earned less than $5 total, despite my providing documentation for the track. Despite repeated requests, they’ve refused to provide any clear timeline, documentation, or justification for why all of my royalties are being held — even though the vast majority have nothing to do with the track in question.
Their support team offers vague responses and deflects any attempt to resolve the issue. I’ve been more than patient, but at this point it feels like they are using uncertainty as an excuse to sit on artists’ money.
This is unacceptable and borders on unethical. Artists deserve transparency and access to their earnings — especially when they are not under dispute.
If you’re considering Symphonic, be warned: if even one track gets flagged, they may lock up your entire catalog’s earnings indefinitely. Did I mention they're still collecting royalties even though I cannot access them?
