I ordered the GPS tags but they were cheap bluetooth
I ordered the GPS tags and when they arrived, they were cheep bluetooth tags no GPS as advertised, I contacted the company for a refund and they told me it would cost me in excess of £50 to return the tags, the tags cost £79 and so I would only get £29. This company are scam artists please avoid.
praxia-uk.com
Based on the reviews and comments regarding cost and refund option, this is prob the same company going under praxia-uk.com. You will prob get your order but the items come from china with basically no return option unless you want to pay the earth. The items they sell are not what they advertise/or seem and are cheap, so avoid at all costs.
Scam website
Scam website where product sent was not as advertised and company makes it very difficult to return the product as return is not to a UK address. Luckily I paid by credit card and was successful in getting my money back via a chargeback as 1) product is not as described and 2) they have failed to comply with the Consumer Rights Act and Consumer Contracts Regulations. Do not buy from this scam website!
I would give zero stars if I could
I ordered GPS trackers for something for about $169 from what appeared to be a reputable website in the uk but instead I got cheap, plastic junk sent from China.
Returning it has been a nightmare! They make it very difficult and offer 5% discount if you keep the cheap plastic things. They also warn you about by falsely elevated return postage costs (eg £50 from Australia?) and then they also charge 15% “administration” fee on top of that. As it turns out the return postage from Australia was only $AUD18 and I was so unimpressed with the junk I received I was happy to pay that. It’s now been sitting in China for 6 weeks at “customs”. It’s likely lost. The point is, I would NEVER have ordered it if I thought it came from China and would have to be returned there!! Their customer service is non existent. Emails from “Cindy” who passes the buck. Save your time and money!!
These are not GPS tags - and full refund is not available
A similar experience to others that have left reviews - be warned. Firstly, despite the impression created, this product is shipped from Hong Kong rather than the UK. I received 2 FindTag tags rather than the 2 Tados tags advertised on the website. The packaging, instructions and the app all say FindTag. Worst of all, they are Bluetooth tags and not GPS as advertised, making them an inferior product. Having been in protracted email dialogue with the company they will not acknowledge that they have sent an incorrect, inferior product despite me sending photographs as evidence. They insist it is the correct product despite all evidence to the contrary - their only argument is that because the tags look the same as the Tados tags on their website, they are Tados GPS tags. Clearly they are avoiding admitting it is the wrong product because that would make them liable for return delivery costs and a full refund. They are not offering a full refund unless I return the tags to Hong Kong, but of course they will make an unreasonably large deduction as an admin fee, and they say that I would have to pay the substantial shipping costs even though they have sent the wrong product. All of this is clearly designed to make it unattractive to return the product because the net cost to the customer means that you would only receive a small proportion of your money back - assuming that they ever make a refund at all. They show no genuine interest in resolving this despite a long email exchange. At best, a disreputable company that takes advantage to the fact they are in Hong Kong rather than the UK. At worst, this is a complete scam - a company that deliberately provides inferior yet similar-looking products whilst charging for a GPS product.
waste of money
waste of money. does not work. best to pay for subscription for Pet Tractive
Total Scam
This product does not work. After waiting for this product for almost a month, I finally received it. It was advertised as a GPS tracker. It is not a GPS tracker but a low powered Bluetooth tracker according the specifications in the manual. I am unable to register the app. Contacted "Customer Support" for a refund. A "Refund" involves:
• Paying all shipping costs (both initial delivery and return shipping to Hong Kong). Which is about half of the cost of the product itself.
• 15% handling fee will be deducted from the refund.
BUYER BEWARE, THIS PRODUCT IS A TOTAL SCAM.
Absolute garbage
Absolutely crap.......STAY AWAY
Absolutely crap.......STAY AWAY. I received 2 tags for stupid money.....it never tracked on the app and was lost in 3 days.
Emailed to return and get a partial refund.......heard NOTHING.
Scam, with links from fake reviews
Scam, with links from fake reviews.
Ordered 2 trackers after reading a fake review on another site. After waiting over 2 weeks for delivery 2 cheap Bluetooth key rings arrived 1 didn't even work. After several weeks of trying to get return details I gave up and got a refund from my bank. I suggest any other customers do the same
False advertising
The product is advertised as a GPS tracker, but now that I have it I see from the instructions and the app that it is a bluetooth tracker. I cannot get the app set up. I suspect all of the associated advertising is a scam.
Item not sent, no refund
Never sent item and said that the package, which arrived empty, had the incorrect weight and refused a refund or to send a replacement. Fraud.
Crap from China not UK
When it's advertised as a UK product but it ships from China you know it's going to take a long time plus the quality is suspect. It took nearly 3 weeks to arrive and I paid extra for express shipping!! On their website under shipping it gives you time frames for fulfillment and then shipping and it's patently false. It takes way longer and paying extra for expedited shipping is a waste. Quality?? Well it's from China what do you think? I've tried to return things to China and it costs $$$!!! They fool people.
Tados "Mini GPS Tracker" is _NOT_ a GPS tracker
Purchased the Tados "Mini GPS Tracker" from the tado-ca site, also linked with the tados-us site.
This product is _not_ a GPS tracker, is it is a (cheap) FindTag Bluetooth beacon, that you can bind to your smartphone and possibly (no reliability) place, using your phone's location, on the FindTag map app.
Advertised as gps trackers but are…
Advertised as gps trackers but are cheap poor quality blue tooth trackers that fo not work. The tracking information is terrible and you can’t get them to make a sound as advertised. Worst of all is no one replies to your emails
Placed an order
Placed an order. Delivered to wrong address. Under the consumer rights act it is there responsibility to refund in full or send new order. They took no responsibility. Refunded to and said i should chase Evri. In the process of taking legal action.
Scam alert
Tried to cancel order but was only offered 3% off next purchase. Appears to be a Chinese company shipping misrepresented inferior goods.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!
AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!
I stupidly read the reviews after purchasing this item for 2 trackers at £79.00 it was buy one, get one free. I emailed the company straight away with my concerns about the bad reviews & was told that they were unsubstantiated and to rest assured that the product was exactly what they advertised. Eventually when the product arrived from Hong Kong not the UK as you're led to believe it turned out to be a cheap bluetooth tracker that I could've bought on ebay for just under £13. Pleas don't make the same mistake as I did and fall for their blatant lies. I wanted to return the item for a refund, but would have to pay £35 postage and a handling fee, so it's not viable to return. They did issue a 10% refund, but that goes nowhere near to making me happy.
This company is a scam!
This company is a scam!
Their bluetooth trackers say they are GPS. They are not. They say the have an alarm on them like other companies. Ours never worked. The User interface is really awful to top that off. When requesting a refund, the company refuses to give one for items that DO NOT WORK. And then they want you to spend money sending them to Hong Kong (and if they are lost or broken then no refund...even though they already do not work). SCAM, SCAM, SCAM..zero stars. Ban from doing business in the UK.
AVOID!!
Wish I had checked this page first. Tracker not fit for purpose - fell out of casing on first outing. Tados-uk suggests UK company, but returns are to Hong Kong! Also many delay tactics in email correspondence. Costs almost as much to return for a refund. AVOID
