Yesterday, I ordered through Talabat as a Talabat Pro user, and the experience was extremely disappointing. The order took two and a half hours to arrive, despite three calls to customer service starting from the first hour, during which I repeatedly asked to cancel since the food had not yet been dispatched. Each time, the agents either refused to cancel or insisted it was already on the way, and at one point assured me I would receive it in five minutes, which was not true.
I clearly told them I no longer needed the order because it would arrive cold, it was already around 1 a.m., and I had placed another order from a different restaurant. Instead, they persuaded me to accept the delivery, promising over the phone that if the food was cold, I could call back and get a refund. After I received the order—cold and inedible, as expected—they then refused a refund, saying that because I had accepted the delivery, I was only eligible for a voucher worth roughly 10% of the order value.
Overall, this experience was a complete waste: four separate calls with agents, money effectively lost, and my sleep delayed by about three hours waiting for food that arrived after midnight. For a supposedly premium service, this felt dishonest and manipulative, and reflects very poorly on the company’s customer service and refund practices
Worst app, cancels the order after 45 minutes of accepting the order, restaurant is helpless and food is wasted as talabat cancels the order.

Literally they offer the worst service ever!i’ve been asking for two refund and they claimed it takes 5-7 working days, its been 9 days now and whenever i contact them they say there is an issue with the payment, they are not honest with customers, they are unprofessional , and they are so bad in satisfying their customer needs ! We received a delivery receipt but we did not receive our order. We order for 1 meter pizza hut last night but it was not delivered until this morning.im very very disappointed this the second time it happen...even to call me nothing talabat they didn't care or if i need to call them in there hotline nothing response ...this is not good it was very badddddd we are excited coz there is a birthday in our flat and we did not this order because of the very bad service on this talabat ...very bad they didn't even try to call if there is any changes to they are not allow to deliver our order..if they call me if very okay but they didn't try to call ...
My recent experience with Talabat has been extremely disappointing and raises serious concerns about the transparency and integrity of their customer support operations.
I applied for the ADCB Talabat Credit Card offer and fulfilled every requirement, including spending AED 5,000 within the 45-day period. According to the promotion, I should have received AED 750 as a reward in my Talabat account—but nothing was credited.
When I contacted ADCB, they confirmed that my reference number is 100% correct. However, Talabat repeatedly rejected it as “account not found.”
This immediately pointed to an issue on Talabat’s end.
Unfortunately, contacting Talabat support only made the situation worse.
The so-called “live chat” feels almost entirely automated.
Responses are scripted, repetitive, and lack any real engagement. Different “agent names” appear, yet they speak in the exact same robotic manner. It is very difficult to believe I was speaking with actual humans.
The experience strongly suggests chatbot or semi-automated systems being used while presented as human agents.
I was promised multiple call-backs that never happened.
At one point, I received a call that rang for less than half a second—clearly done just to mark the case as “attempted contact” without actually speaking to me.
This behavior is unacceptable from a major company.
There is a clear lack of accountability, transparency, and genuine customer service. Customers should not be forced to fight for a promotional reward they rightfully earned, nor deal with evasive support systems designed to delay or deflect responsibility.
Unless Talabat improves its customer support processes, stops disguising automated responses as human interaction, and resolves legitimate issues promptly, I cannot recommend the service based on my experience.

I wish there was a rating lower than 1 star. Those lunatics cancelled my account because they marked me as spam (i cancelled 4 orders in a row, but i explained to them why i cancelled each one - two of which btw were not even cancelled by me but rather automatically cancelled by their idiotic app) and then the nightmare of reaching their customer service began. i could very easily reach their normal customer service puppets with a pro account but the thing is, they couldn't unblock my account but they just existed to tell me they unblocked my account WHEN THEY DIDNT. and i kept asking to talk to someone senior, they will talk to you in 60 minutes, 60 minutes pass without a call, i check the app and my support request is magically marked as resolved and they repeat again like puppets that suspicious activity was reported on my account.
god they drove me crazy. go to keeta, noon, kitopi, anything but those crazy oranges
Worst customer and partnership service ever… they steal people’s money by subscribing them into talabat pro without their consent and you talk to them they do nothing they are useless, as for partnership service they are liers and very bad the simplest way for them is to run away from their responsibility and refund the customers on behalf of the restaurants, they should learn from keeta and snoonu but by far their level is way below them
Probably the absolute absolute worst company you can go with. They are completely awfull. I recommend anyone that actually wants good service and not cold 3hrs food delayed EVERY single time to go to Careem or Deliveroo. Talabat is the absolute worst choice you can make for deliveries. my last 6 Orders have had 2 hrs of delays EVERY SINGLE TIME, MINIMUM 2 hours delay, i dont even know why i give talabat a chance just because they have some restaurants i like, they are without discussion the absolute worst service you can use for deliveries. And on top of that they pretend to be helpfull but they dont do anything for you in events of missing items or you waiting 3 hours for your meal they offer you a 15 AED voucher as if it fills your belly.
Complete awfull company and customer service, no wonder they have 1 star, they are not even willing to do anything about it or change it, and when they give you bad service they dont have any shame or compensation. Please if you respect your own time delete this app asap. aJoke of a company.
Very disappointing experience with Talabat. They delivered my order melted and broken, and even after promising a refund, they never credited the amount. Their customer service is the worst — not honest at all. They kept asking for multiple bank statements, even though I provided all the proof, yet no refund was ever issued.
This is unacceptable and unprofessional. I will definitely stop using Talabat, as there are many other better and more reliable apps out there.

Very Bad service, I Order a pizza from Domino’s by using Talabat , waited 2.30 Hours for delivery but did not appear. I contacted customer service like 5 times but they are useless and lied every time . After 2.30 hours they cancelled my order. Are they doing this In Dubai ?? Rubish app and service, when you complain you receive tousand calls but no resolution, I have ordered and had no option to add a comment that I want half of my order not spicy, I call talabat immediatly and they have confirmed they transfer my request to the restaurant. I receive spicy order with no regular items, when I complain they said the restaurant will call you, when I speak to the restaurant they said they have not received my note. I ended accepting a wrong order and none of the parties accept to refund me. Talabat says it's restaurant mistake, restaurant says talabat mistake
The talabat in oman so bad they are have connections with the restaurant properly. I have picture for it when the client of the talabat text me he said in seven minutes for delivery my food as small as of until it’s not until I cancel my order the delivery, the food. Connection with the restaurant and talabat for not delayed the food. Today my family woke up and spent hours cleaning fine glitter from our lounge room after my son's birthday party last night. We ordered these glitter toys after my friends insisted they were fun - let me tell you that they are not - they simply just make an absolute glittery mess of your home - but that's a completely different story and review. After working up an appetite, I decided I would order some of your grilled chicken livers. I typically hate liver, they remind me of my boarding house, although today I missed home and decided I'd choose to keep this party going. When my dish arrived, I inspected it with great trepidation, the smell - it reminds me of home. Selecting my first ball of protein and iron goodness, I bit down. My legs instantly started quivering. The taste was truly most delightful. "Dare I another?" I ask myself - still in trepidation. "Why of course!" I mumble to myself excitedly, yet quietly. My wife asks me "are you ok?" "Quiet woman!" I proclaim. My son is saying "Daddy what are you doing?" "Eating liver" I say as shooting him a look as if to say "you can clearly see what I'm doing?" I tell them both to give me some space. I need to confirm if my taste buds deceive me. Getting down to eye level with the tray, I throw my fork to the wind and decide to pick up the next liver with my lips. Nay. My taste buds do not deceive me. This time my entire body is convulsing. I am seeing noise, I am hearing colour. I simply can not describe how good these livers are. I am beside myself. If I was in my bed, I would wet it with excitement. Thank you for giving me such a wild culinary experience. I can't wait to order again.
I had a bad experience with Kruh Burger restaurant. I usually order from them, but yesterday the food arrived cold — both the burger and the fries with cheese — and the Pepsi was spilled. Since I ordered through Talabat, I couldn’t return the food or eat there again. To make things worse, Talabat didn’t refund my money and their customer service was very poor. I felt really disappointed.
