We need a 0-star option for the worst offenders

Am adding to this review in 10/2023. The review below was about a company called TalkWithCustomer or TalkCustomer, can't remember which. But they kept spamming my websites relentlessly. This does not apply to Mail Chimp whatsoever, so I'm not sure why it's showing up attached to their company. TrustPilot, can you switch it over to that shady "TalkWithCustomer" entity I wrote about originally? They sold bots to field questions on websites, as I recall.

"eric.jones.z.mail-at-gmail.com" from this company keeps spamming my website from a new IP address each time. Word for word, same generic message, copied and pasted - they use my personal time and paid resources to promote their "business". The harassment has gone from once every few months to two consecutive weeks now. If their pattern continues, it will only increase in frequency.

Since that company will likely dispute this, I've kept every one of those contacts and the IP addresses. Receipts don't lie.

Since I rarely get legitimate messages through my site (I keep in touch with my readers and friends through social media), I just decided to remove the contact form from my website.

Swallow that one, "eric".

Spammer/scammer

Spammer/scammer, I get virus warnings going to their website. I get the IP address with the form outputs and check ARIN to see what range it's in. All my websites are US based, so the htaccess file now has hundreds of either unique or IP address ranges blocked. What I can't figure out is how they keep finding ranges I haven't blocked. Could be they spoof the IP address, or are routing through BOTS around the world. RIPE, Asia-Pacific, Latin America, Africa net - got em' all blocked, but they keep finding ones that aren't. Someone is doing these as I have a Captcha of sorts. I believe talkwithcustomer is Canadian based? They are pure evil and revel in their sins. Total clueless dirtwads.

Scam and Spam

Scam and Spam. I design websites and we always get these emails from "Eric". Who does not exist. It's become a bit of a joke around the studio. Don't fall for it! Do not respond! They are BAD players as you can see by the reviews ;) In my opinion you've got to work really hard to be this bad.

Repeat spam - Eric Jones

Repeat spam
Repeat spam from Name: Eric Jones
We use Eric Jones emails as part of our website testing process. We don’t bother testing the forms, we just launch a new site and if we go a week without an email from him we know the forms broken.

WordPress even has a plugin created to block him.

UPDATE: 16 October 2023, they ask for further information to respond. OVER TWO YEARS LATER! That should be clear enough evidence of their half-hearted attempt at customer care...

Not even worth one star

Not even worth one star. They are spamming me nearly every day. They do it via a form on the website. On top of the form, I asked them not to use the form. So it seems to be automated. So they have a product "talk with customer" but on their own website they don't use it and want you to submit your e-mail, which is the last thing I want to do.
