Review summary

Created with AI, based on recent reviews

Most reviewers were unhappy with their experience overall. Many people were dissatisfied with the products, describing them as cheap, mass-produced, and not as advertised. Customers frequently mentioned that the quality was poor, with shoes made of plastic or thin, imitation leather rather than the promised high-quality materials. The price was also a point of contention, with many feeling the cost was far too high for the low-quality items received. Additionally, the website was criticized for inaccurate product descriptions and inaccurate sizing charts. Some people were dissatisfied with their orders, reporting issues such as late deliveries, incorrect sizes, or only receiving part of their order. Conversely, a small portion of people were satisfied with their purchases, finding the shoes to be of good quality, comfortable, and well-made, with some even receiving excellent customer service when addressing minor flaws.

Tanner Shoes is a scam!!!

Tanner Shoes is a scam!!!
I purchased a pair of women’s Boots for $78.90. Tanner Shoes was advertised as real leather and hand made by Margaret and Henry this wonderful operation going out of business after 34 years. This is a scam there is no Margaret and Henry! The shoes arrived late from a Chinese person named Meng Zhao at 735 S Figueroa St in Los Angeles, they were cheap, machine-made from synthetic leather. I have just emailed them for a refund and filed a dispute against them from Paypal. This is false advertisement! These companies should be banned from engaging in deceptive practices.
How can they WASTE HONEST PEOPLES TIME WITH THIS BS
People like them should not be in business in our country
THESE SHOES ARE NOT AS REPRESENTED IN THE WEBSITE!

Tanner Shoes is a scam!!!

I purchased a pair of women’s Orthopedic Platform Boots for $78.90. Tanner Shoes was advertised as real leather and hand made by this small mom and pop operation going out of business after 34 years. The shoes arrived late from a Chinese named person in Los Angeles, they were cheap, machine-made from synthetic leather. I tried to return it, they offered a 20% discount to keep the shoes which are worthless. This is false advertisement! These companies should be banned from engaging in deceptive practices.

These shoes are drop ships

These shoes are drop ships, and that is not what I was shopping for. If I wanted the TEMU/ALIBABA experience I would have shopped there. The AI imagery should have given it away, but no.

Poor service wrong size

Sent wrong size. Would not accept a return. Offered a 50 percent refund. So I figured I could sell them at next yard sale so I accepted. Two months now still no refund. When I looked closer at the shoes the quality seemed average.

Total scam

Total scam. Tried cancelling 5 minutes after ordering. They would not cancel. Two and half weeks and still waiting for the shoes. Apparently this company has "been going out of business" for years. The website is a scam. Wish they were out of business.

I fell for the ad and ordered a pair

I fell for the ad and ordered a pair. When they arrived, I noticed they weren't real leather and had no labeling. The fit is a little large, the soles seem tacky, and the imitation leather won't last long. They are a big ripoff.

Ordered shoes after seeing their ad

Ordered shoes after seeing their ad of closing. Ad described an older couple who were retiring and selling off remaining stock. This is far from the truth and is a lie. These shoes are made of plastic and are very low quality. Did not come in in proper sizes. The only reason I purchased was because they were supposedly handmade and they are not. The use of AI is tricking people into believing something that is false

Scam

Scam! Scam! SCAM! I should have know. Deal was too good to be true. + Why would a USA company close down now with all the tariff's in place? No real receipt for purchase. Tracking number doesn't work. Customer Service phone number goes to someone's personal voicemail. Don't know where Customer Service email goes to but if I ever get a response I will be shocked.
