Their FSA management is terrible. They do not accept my EOBs for my dental work the first time, ever. This occurs over and over and over. TASC makes the problem worse by making it virtually impossible... See more

I just rate to express the poor…Service Tasc custumer service thanks for nothing
I just rate to express the poor customer service and manager this company have. I reached to them one employee explain some information and procedures so, i did. Problem, was totally wrong. They don't provide ways to help even it was their fault. The manager Ray S, no id or any other info because he is not providing his info to no one while we have to: was rude as hell. they should close this company. They just need to reimburse the money spent that's all. its not their money they are managing my money what's their problem?????
Wish I could give lower score
Wish I could give lower score. Hands down the most incompetent place to handle your hsa/hra. It’s nearing March and I still don’t have my hra card that was due to me January 1st! It’s been requested 4 times now. I’m paying for things out of pocket and fighting incorrect reimbursement denials for benefits that I worked my ass off for. They are delaying and denying reimbursement claims which is a financial burden. I have yet to deal with one knowledgeable competent person. Every person will give you a different version of inaccurate information and excuses. My coworker, who’s worked with me for 25 years had her benefits terminated in error, while they issued an HRA card to a former employee who doesn’t even work for us anymore. This disaster of a company has no business being involved in people’s healthcare.
This company is the worst FSA
This company is the worst FSA I have ever had. They want receipts on everything, even repeated transactions at physical therapy, and even when they make the mistake. I once had to submit receipts several times for one transaction for a copay and they settled it incorrectly and I’m still out those funds. They reject things all the time and I have to waste hours on the phone to fix it. My company chose this vendor but they are terrible and stay away if you can.
This company is absolutely awful
This company is absolutely awful. I had to first deal with them on my COBRA and now on my HSA. The help desk is literally the worst I've ever dealt with. Their command of English is very poor, they can't answer anything but the most basic questions without extensive hold-time research, when they do find something they just regurgitate whatever information they find, regardless of whether it is applicable or not, and can't explain anything they read back. I've never dealt with such awful customer support.
TASC denies allowable claims
TASC consistently denies allowable expenditures even when you submit a receipt and letter of medical necessity. You have to waste hours on the phone to try to get your claims processed. The tax savings are not worth the hours wasted. I suggest everyone who has issues with TASC submit complaints to the BBB, the Attorney General for their state, and the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. You can also reach out to the TASC executives directly (Google them and then it's firstname.lastname*at sign*tasconline.com).
I am on the call with the TASC customer…
I am on the call with the TASC customer support and the person who has no idea how to take up the Change of password request after taking all the information required and asking me plenty of security, when asked who this is taking so long, he said to call back if i cannot cont.. to hold as he is checking with his peer to know how to provide me the security for making me hold 40 mins and when asked to pass to the supervisor, he just pushed the call to another call center representative.
JOEMAR - This is the another rep whom i requested to provide me previous rep name, he said he does not know
Zero stars
I've been stuck using these clowns for a few years now and I've summarized the issues below. Before leaving this review I've reached out serval times and my requests have been closed without a response. My HR team have also reached out.
- the card simply doesn't work which shouldn't be a huge issue given there's the option of claiming with a receipt...but
- for the first 18 months or so reimbursement requests would just fail. No notification, no explanation of why. They'd just fail. I haven't to submit everything several times until they'd eventually go through
- After having to change elections midway through the year my contributions just stopped showing on my account. They would periodically show as pending but never clear. After weeks of chasing I was stold (via HR) that these funds were available but would not display correctly until the new year
- it's now the new year and I need to claim back and guess what - rather than the $1400 I should have available my balance is showing as $12. After being told that my funds were available I submitted a claim for $200 and was given the $12.
I don't understand how these guys have a license to operate given the cannot receive or payout funds. It feels like I've been forced to enroll in some sort of pyramid scheme who can't payout anything.
Unfortunately Zero Stars is not available
Unfortunately, Zero Stars is not available.
In short, this is a legalized organized crime outfit. Several attempts to get the receipts with all the information, but these clowns can't or refuse to read and comprehend, and kindergarten math illudes them, too. The IRS has better bedside manners and can add. Time dealing with this company is a cost, so consider your time as money spent to defend your position and ask yourself if it is worth the price.
From now on, I will not use this BS benefit and will set aside my hard-earned cash in a separate account to gather interest and collect all recipes for taxes. This has two advantages: you collect the interest and lower your blood pressure!
HR Reps: Only Use TASC if You Don't Care About Your People
HR leaders, before reading the review, I implore you to treat your employees better than this unless you genuinely want them to have a terrible experience working for you.
This organization is more focused on producing red tape than it is providing a useful means to access to the money that's yours to begin with.
- The card gets shut off without any notice and you don't know why it's declining until it's far too late.
- The card will decline purchases through the TASC STORE. It's OWN STORE gets declined (which by the way is an Amazon affiliate link farm - at best nefariously presented money grab, at worst illegal).
- Reimbursement requests are literally never accepted on the first attempt. This company has built a web of red tape that runs so deep it's probably fraudulent deep down in the books somewhere. Once you submit a request and get declined (reminder: every time), they give you an appeal PDF to fill out, but you're required to send this PDF with supporting documents (the receipts they've already seen and declined automatically), including an ESSAY ABOUT WHY YOU THINK YOU DESERVE IT (I added the "essay" for dramatic effect, but it feels like a 3rd grade teacher assigning an essay when you read through the appeal form) VIA MAIL OR FAX. 1989 called, they want their business practices back. You have 180 days to respond to them after a decline, so naturally they're going to take their time processing this hand-written essay with attached receipts, and simple form, which means by the time your credit card is due (which you obviously needed to use because your $1k+ medical expense was sudden and unexpected) you're still waiting another 90 days for the mailman to deliver your essay to the folks in the big gray wigs so they can just decline it again.
TL:DR - There are hundreds of terrible experiences documented quite well around the Internet. If you work for an HR department or contractor and you're considering this place, strike it from the list. You'll lose more employees than the savings are worth.
No contactless!
No contactless!! No support for digital wallets. Really cumbersome to use on public transit.
My company should be going back to Wex.
Would give 0 stars if possible
Would give 0 stars if possible. Wouldn't recommend using their FSA benefit accounts to my worst enemy. Every reimbursement request regardless of amount is a battle and a guessing game to get the request approved. Becomes very stressful towards the end of the year.
If I could give this 0 stars I would
If I could give this 0 stars I would. I’ve tried putting service requests in and they just keeps sending a copy and paste of the same thing explaining what documents are needed for verification. I submitted an EOB and it is still being denied. Their app and website have AWFUL UX. There’s things not in the app but on the site and vice verse. As a developer, it makes me so angry to have to use their apps. When you submit documents you should be able to VIEW THEM IN THEIR ENTIRETY TO CONFIRM IT HAS BEEN UPLOADED CORRECTLY!! Also, if you have to export a chrome window from the app for something- you’re doing it wrong. If you have to use this company- don’t. Figure something else out.
Constantly denying reimbursements and…
Constantly denying reimbursements and demanding extra paperwork, even though the prescription has been on file for years. Every new plan year, all the same hurdles.
AWFUL company!
I'm so exhausted from dealing with this horrible company that I don't even know where to begin. In short, they deny everything and make you jump through so many hoops to get reimbursed, if they reimburse you at all. They are nearly impossible to get ahold of as they have no email address; and if you open a ticket to contact them, they never reply. If they do, it's dismissive (they will close the ticket and call it completed without actually resolving anything) and then you can't even reply to them, so you have to start over and open a new ticket (or else waste a major portion of your work day on the phone with them). Just look at the BBB site and see for yourself. Every day people lodge complaints after getting nowhere with TASC, and then suddenly their claims get paid. Not a great way to run a business. Yet somehow they have a A+ rating there. Not so much anywhere else! Really wish my employer would find a new provider. All this effort may not be worth the tax savings. Also apparently a horrible company to work for based on Indeed and Glass Door reviews, so it's no surprise they can't retain good people and are so maddeningly slow to reply or resolve anything.
Company denies proven Medical expenses…
Company denies proven Medical expenses on FSA cards. My wife is a benefits administrator and has never seen a company so incompetent in how they handle claims and their customers. You always get a generic response when you make an inquiry and they close the inquiry, even when it is not closed. FSA card will decline even when money shows available. This is the biggest joke of a company!
They denied my claim to the emergency…
They denied my claim to the emergency room after I was involved in a car accident. The card declined which caused me to pay out of pocket. When I submitted a claim for reimbursement it was denied within 24 hours. But I called customer service from the ER when the card declined and they stated I could be reimbursed. This was the second time. It declined before at the dentist and they spoke to the front desk the day of the appointment. They also declined that reimbursement for dental care. This is ridiculous. There is no email address to submit documentation and the portal doesn’t accept large attachments.
The worst
We enjoyed working with TASC years ago, but have had nothing but issue since they migrated to the TASC Universal platform. Theirs is the most dysfunctional website I have ever experienced, and years later we are still having the same (if not more) problems. TASC's customer service agents are terribly sarcastic, and they don't listen to what you are trying to explain. Instead, they lash out and respond based on their own assumptions (which is usually wrong). I cringe each time something goes wrong with our account and I need to reach out to their customer service team.
Worst Experience Ever
I received an invoice for 3 months of COBRA-admin fee for $xxxx; this is $2.59 more per month than we have been paying for the last 10 months. When I called and got transferred two times, xxxx told me that accounting doesn't talk to anyone. He talked to them and then relayed to me that there was a credit on our account for $xx.
I told him we never received the credit memo. He said he didn’t think they sent that out – what??? How would I ever know it existed if they don’t mail it to me? Why did they credit these already paid bills just to charge me a higher monthly rate? Can they just change the rate at will, or does our contract not mean anything? What gives them the right to arbitrarily increase our bill in the middle of the contract period?
P.S. They could save a few trees and some postage if they would allow bills to be emailed and not waste two pieces of paper - the first page only has mailing addresses (which are also showing on the invoice) and the third page is nothing more than instructions on how to read the invoice(self-explanatory). By the 50th invoice, I think all questions I may have had would have been answered.
Update: I received an answer to my support ticket with the response” Good afternoon, Thank you for your Support Request. We're unfortunately unable to address inquiries relating to billing and/or fees via this function. To speak with our Fees team, please contact Customer Care at 1-800-422-4661.”
When I called back today, the person in C.S. said “it’s only xxx”. It’s not the amount of money – it’s the principal. He acted like I should just pay the bill and not be bothered that they can bill me whatever they feel like.
How can they improve?
1. Don't ask me 10 times for my 12 digit account number (you should record it when I enter it the first time I call).
2. don't transfer me 3 or 4 different times because you can't help me.
3. Allow clients to speak directly to the billing department.
4. Honor contracts and don't increase rates whenever you feel like it.
5. Don't send me invoices 45 days in advance with a "due upon receipt" term. The service is from the first of the following month. It should be due by the first.
TASC is the absolute worst
TASC is the absolute worst! So hard to get a hold of, when they finally respond to their contact us support email line they do half of what was requested and you have to start from the beginning. RUN AS FAST AS YOU CAN!!! When you call, all they do is update your online request to urgent but no one on the phone can assist. TASC doesn't give phone support the ability to make decisions or help out.
