Receive email that i will get refund € 720 . I paid 10% . Receive statment from revenue that my tax back is €420. Someone add PAYE/USC €300 to the total tax refund .I will give them -10

However, Revenue have indicated that you had an underpayment of tax for a previous tax year. Before they transferred your refund, Revenue deducted the amount you owed for the underpayment. This is why you received a refund of €420. If you have any additional questions regarding your refund application, please do not hesitate to reach out.

"Double counted" mistake - basic maths/accounting
Terribly dissapointing experience with taxback. They reached out to me to complete my 2024 tax return and noted that myself and my wife were now due a very sizeable refund due to being married. They did all the processing on their side and said it would take a few weeks. Eventually the revenue contacted me to say that my tax return was complete and I was entitled to no refund. I contacted taxback who informed me that their accountant had "double counted" part of my wifes taxes and I was indeed owed no refund. Such an glaring and obvious mistake. Zero confidence in using the service again.

Great help with Canadian taxes 😊
Taxback helped me with my taxes from Canada. Even though it took longer than expected I got my tax return fully. If I had any problems or questions they helped right away. I would like to say thank you especially to Agrita, she guided and helped me through the whole process. I also had some problems with redeeming bank cheque as my country didn't do that anymore, so they simple suggested to send it over for a quick cash out. It took just one week to get the rest of my money. I highly recommend to anyone who has problems with taxes and can't do it on their own. Thank you taxback team. 😊
