Incorrect post code recorded by Taxi Network

This was a telephone booking made by Hamza at Taxi Network who recorded the post codes for pick up and drop to pass to the driver. On the day of the pick up I received two calls from the controller and the taxi arrived on time for the pick up, but Hamza had given an incorrect drop off post code to the driver. This resulted in the driver blaming me for the error and being extremely so much so I just asked him to drop me off where we were and I walked the remainder of my journey. The error was completely Taxi Networks and the driver was very rude - reg LW15LBE.

I wanted to share a positive experience…

I wanted to share a positive experience I had with Taxi Network, particularly in my interaction with their manager, Gulzar.

Recently, my friend had booked a cab to Stansted Airport, but unfortunately, there was a mix-up, and the controller mistakenly arranged for the cab to go to Heathrow Airport instead. This resulted in my friend missing his flight. Frustrated, I tried reaching out to the controller, but my calls were initially ignored.

However, when I persisted and finally spoke to the manager, Gulzar, the situation took a turn for the better. Gulzar not only listened to my concerns but also assured me that they would resolve the issue promptly. What impressed me the most was the professionalism and ethical conduct demonstrated by the management at Taxi Network.

True to their word, the management promptly refunded my money, and I can't express enough gratitude for their swift resolution. Gulzar's exemplary communication skills and commitment to customer satisfaction stood out during this challenging situation. It's reassuring to know that Taxi Network values its customers and takes immediate action to rectify any issues that may arise.

I believe commendable actions deserve recognition, and I wanted to take a moment to appreciate Gulzar and the entire management team at Taxi Network for their exceptional service and commitment to customer satisfaction.

Disgraceful company

Disgraceful company. No ethics! Booked a cab on the 8/09/23 to pick up my niece and nephew arriving from NZ - both under 21 yrs old. I paid for service in advance. Cab driver arrives at airport at landing time of flight- obviously too early. Keeps calling to find out whenthey will be out. When they come to the meet her, she was not there. She then says she’s is now at another terminal. There will be an extra £18 for waiting. She then arrives 20 mins later.Demanded cash with no receipt. They told her they would pay at the destination. She became threatening, Demanded payment or she will cancel trip. They were terrified and got out of the car and had to get an Uber! I called this company and reported the incidence. They confirmed cancellation of the trip and I would be contacted by management after investigating. I have called the company several times and I am repeatedly told that I would be contacted with 3 days but I have not heard anything! Great ambassadors for London tourism!!!!

An absolute disgrace. Booked a taxi that was supposed to come in '10 or 15 minutes'. Still waiting 55 minutes later. Cancelled and booked a Bolt instead. Avoid

Do not use this company

Booked and pre-paid for a taxis pick-up a day in advance in July when travelling in London. No sight of a taxis after 10 minutes over of our booking time, rang the office then they said they would call me back in 5 minutes. A minute or 2 later, they called back and simply said there is no taxis available at this area at time. When I questioned them on how this could happen as we had made this book and pre-paid this booking a day in advance plus received a text confirmation for our booking. They only replied to us: "We will refund you" and showed 0% effort to offer any help to us. From that point, I knew there was pointless to argue or on the phone with them - I ended the conversation and immediately begun to search for other taxis providers.
Luckily, we managed to engage another taxis service provider within half an hour later if not we would have missed our train from London to Paris.
Never use this company! No one should go through this horrible and stressful situation we had experienced especially travelling in overseas.

Would give 0 if possible

Would give 0 if possible. Hadn't seen these reviews beforehand unfortunately, and had made a booking with them accidentally, as thought was booking with reputable local company. As had 6am flight from Gatwick, prebooked this taxi to ensure could catch my train at 4am to the airport (I usually use taxi apps but couldn't risk). Booking was no problem.

Receive text a few minutes before scheduled pick up time on the day from driver saying on his way and am I all set. This concerned me a bit as he was due to pick me up in 4 minutes time. When he didn't arrive at scheduled time, I messaged to ask if close, to which he said yes. Then wouldn't answer the phone when I rang. 15 mins late, I was getting very stressed about missing my train so called the mainline. First, the caller asked if they had my mobile number, which I confirmed they had, given the driver had messaged me on it. They claimed they couldn't find the booking initially. Then, he gave me completely wrong postcodes for pick and drop off. I was literally crying at this point as I realised I would miss my train and therefore possibly my long haul flight. The caller then hung up on me! I then see a text from the driver claiming he had broken down.

Absolutely disgusting behaviour. Cost me the train fare and then cost of a taxi all the way to the airport. I was just grateful I found an amazing taxi driver through Bolt who got me there just in time.

Do not use this company !!

Do not use this company !!! booked and paid for a six seater with luggage a month in advance to take our whole family on a once a year holiday flying from London city airport. Cab booked for 4.15 am cabbie phoned said he was arriving to our horror it was a normal saloon for six people no luggage it was not his fault
We then had to try to get a another cab so we could arrive on time for flight we managed 40 minutes later at another 105 pounds
We phoned this firm the day before as well just to make sure it would arrive as we had specified six people with luggage
Spoke to them on the morning of the incident very rude and could not care less use Uber or local firm you trust

Despite pre payment

Despite pre payment , booking 3 days in advance, and confirmation calls on the day of pick up, the driver was still 20 mins late. He blamed the office for overbooking him and was v apologetic. Don’t use this service

I prebooked and paid in full a week in advance as was traveling with a sick baby. I highlighted they need to be on time, I pre-booked airport fast-track passport control. I called them when outside,to be told the driver would be in 10 min and would call me. After 10 min called them again to be told the driver will be in 1 hr... When the driver arrived he told me he just received the order. I had to wait for an hour in the airport, late at night with a sick baby. When I complained to the company, they said they would come back to me, and despite many chasers, I never received an official apology or refund/ discount on the trip. I will never use them again!!!! Definitely do not use !!! better to book directly with the driver.

One of the worse taxi experiences

Booking is fine but the actual taxi experience is appalling! Uber turns up and I start receiving text from various taxi companies I've never heard of before that my taxi is there. The Uber doesn't actually know who booked him. I'm informed that the far that I pre-paid is actually more than Uber would have charged.

Prebooked and prepaid return taxi with a patient from hospital didn't turn up. Was too busy! Didn't notify.

Impossible to understand the people on call who keep transferring you to various other people (you never know who you are actually talking to).

Told I would get a refund...refunded half of what I'm owed. Rang again...told the system is down but that I would get refunded in 24 hours. No further communication.

Appalling and so so so so frustrating. Do not use them!

A nightmare service

A nightmare service. Booked a taxi with them from Clapham junction to East Croydon last night, they firstly send you a link to pay and then provide the service, eventually. The upfront payment gives you reassurance that the driver will be with you shortly, NOT!
After numerous calls (more than 10) asking at least to let us know the made of the car and the registration number (as we were outside the train station) finally the driver texted us, sent him location, he found us only to say that the waiting time for the booking was over and the booking is cancelled…. He left empty, not willing to take us on saying “technology, complain to the police”
After many more calls we made to the operator (she NEVER CALLED US) her only response was - your car will be there in 3 min…. 30 min later she finally told us the made and the registration number of the second car she send. Turns up he is a Uber driver and refused to take us as the name on his booking was different than mine. Apparently the operator booked an Uber for us, but under her name and created even more chaos and confusion. Finally after we called again she confirmed with the driver that we are his clients and we finally got a ride home.
Our booking was made at 23 pm, we were picked at 00.30 am….
HORRIBLE SERVICE AND LIARS.
THEY DO NOT HAVE CARS, they book Uber drivers for you, playing the middle man. AVOID!

Even 1 star is too generous

Even 1 star is too generous. Booked a taxi for 5:50 am. Called 4 times between 6am and 6:50. Every time the answer was ‘the driver will be there in 5-10 minutes’ until the last time when they finally admitted that they could not get hold of any drivers. Eventually had to cancel and book with another service

Fraudsters, unreliable and liars

Booked to go to the airport early morning. Taxi didn’t turn up, had to get neighbors up at 5am to drop us off. It’s been 3 months now and still haven’t reached a refund despite calling them every week and every time they promised a refund. Have reported this to the bank, they will be dealing with this now. Will be reporting this to the ombudsman as it is a theft and probably fraud. It is £60 not insignificant but I had to pay £120 for someone to get us to the airport.

Terrible service don't use

Terrible service. Booked a taxi online and paid online price. Taxi didn't turn up on time. When I phoned to ask where it was they said that the price was now a further £5 pounds. They said they'd tried to call me to get payment but couldn't get through. They had called me but the man on the phone had such a strong non-British accent I couldn't understand a word he was saying. They tried to blame me. I agreed to pay the price increase and was told I'd have to wait a further 20 mins. I cancelled the booking as that was too late. I missed an important appointment because of their terrible service and I now have to rearrange it. Do not use this company if you need to get anywhere on time.

Sent an Uber which we could have booked cheaper directly

We booked a taxi to Heathrow for £80. When it arrived it was an Uber- taxi network had booked the Uber pretending to be me and using my name (the Uber driver showed me the messages). The Uber driver had initially been offered the job at £49, then when he picked us up that changed to £29 (Uber changed it). With airport fees the driver only made £25 for a 2-hour job and we overpaid by £15-20 compared to if we booked Uber directly. So next time I’ll avoid taxi network at all costs and just go back to Uber.

TaxisNetwork PUT MY LIFE AT RISK AND NO REFUND. I called this taxi company on Christmas day as I had serious chest pain and had to go to hospital A&E, I told them I had to go to hospital. After waiting for more than an hour and multiple phone calls to them I cancelled as taxi wasn't showing up though was promised 15-20 min wait. They took 25£ prepayment via sms link and promised to refund me in 2-3 days which didn't happened until now even after follow up with them. My symptoms worsened while I was waiting for them and had very high blood pressure when reached A&E with another taxi company I travelled as ambulance wouldn't go. Absolutely horrific, defrauding an ill person with health emergency, absolutely disgusting. I'M RAISING HELL ON THEM.

I ordered a car at 10 .30 in the…

I ordered a car at 10 .30 in the morning prebooking for 2.20 pm
I asked them to please confirm that the driver would show up. I had two staff and 5 boxes. The driver never showed up. The company did not contact me. No apology was issued. I had to pay my staff £50 in overtime until the next car from another company was able to show up
Appalling service. Would never use again

Great all round experience

Easy booking experience. Very much on hand when we had issue with taking payment! Anna was great in helping me through the process, Taxi turned up on time and the driver was very pleasant. Recommended

Totally unreliable .Didn't turn up

Booked a taxi to be taken from Putney to Gatwick Airport at 5:15 am and confirmed the evening before. Half an hour before the planned pick up time I had a call from the company that the driver wasn't available. I told them that I had to catch a flight and may not be able to find an alternative transport at such short notice in the early hours of the morning. Their reply was to call Uber. Totally unreliable company and my advice is to avoid booking with them. I could have missed my flight but luckily.an Uber driver was available to take me to the airport.
