Tech support outstanding
I had to call tech support because of an error I couldn’t seem to find. The support person was professional and very helpful. I haven’t talked to someone who was so pleasant in a long time. She needs some praise.

The interface was clunky
The interface was clunky. Felt like 2007. Uploading my investment accounts didn't work. I'm 100% sure I didn't get my full refund.

Too expensive
Too expensive, was given a 25% off code through an email and it didn't even work! Gonna probably go somewhere else next year...You should take care of your long-time customers better than you do!!!

Visit https://www.irs.gov/refunds for the tracking tool. You can check your status 24 hours after the IRS has received your e-file, or four weeks after mailing your return.

I also didn't appreciate being hijacked by ID.me! That's BS. Our current leadership loves stomping our privacy but tiptoes around the Epstein papers!

I was having trouble with TurboTax and…
I was having trouble with TurboTax and they hang up was with a number for your retirement plan is said it wasn’t enough digits. I didn’t realize I couldn’t get my taxes to complete because of this and there was no directions on helping me so after paying for TurboTax, I went back and used tax slayer because I have used them in the past I don’t know why I changed the TurboTax but you guys were easier and I appreciate it. It worked out. Thank you very much.

i liked that my taxes are done and free as promised. i did not get my state refund and would like to know why. i received notice that they were accepted same as federal. 1315 was received dor federal nothing for state. can you help me?

However, you can get that information directly from the IRS. Visit https://www.irs.gov/refunds and enter the required information to get all the details around your tax refund.
Good - but they make mistakes
This is the 4th year I am using TaxSlayer. I like the convenience of it, but they are by no means perfect. One example, when preloading my 1099-R's they had 2 of them reported as Railroad 1099-R's although I've never had a railroad pension. It was completed and I was happy with my refund - until I spotted and corrected THEIR error. Luckily I did because IRS might not have been pleased that I was claiming a pension I'd never had.
