2/5 – Ordered Sony WH-1000XM6 on 2nd May and tried to cancel the same day. Got no response to emails or live chat until 8th May. By then it had already shipped on 6th May, and they deducted £5 from my refund. Customer service response time needs serious improvement.

Purchased an Oppo mobile phone from Techinthebasket. The slow delivery was bad, however their aftersales is diabolical. Prior to buying the item, I specifically asked the seller if it was new and fully functional. They assured me it was brand new, sealed, and fully functional. However, upon receipt, I discovered the device is a Chinese model. Despite changing the system language to English, significant amounts of Chinese text remain across various screens and apps due to the firmware.

I have verified this with the manufacturer using the IMEI number; they confirmed that because it is a Chinese-market device, the firmware and Chinese text cannot be removed. The seller's listing failed to disclose that this device was intended for the Chinese market or that it would permanently display Chinese text, which is a critical detail for buyers in the UK.

I have already attempted to resolve this with the seller. Although they initially requested a video of the issue, which I provided, they have since stopped responding to my emails. I have requested a return label from them, but as they are no longer communicating, thankfully I used PayPal, so I am going through them and have opened a case today. Be warned, this company seem to have terrible aftersales and some or maybe all of their products are not suitable for the UK market. Avoid, avoid, avoid.

Dreadful website. Would not take payment despite trying to pay with 3 different credit cards and trying 2 different browsers. I can't find a telephone number to call company on and can only interract with AI agents. Wasted a huge amount of time.

Insta360 go ultra. It did arrive and it was real.

Pros:
1) it was cheap
2) it eventually arrived

Cons:
Everything else.
1) Poor communication
2) Slow communication
3) The details on the website are just lies
4) extremely slow postage

The website said dispatches in 1-3 days and 48 hour delivery. It took 9 days for them to generate a royal tracking number. Then another 6 days before they actually posted it.

If you want the cheap price, and can wait for weeks for delivery. Buy the item. If you want it quick, don't buy.

After 10 days of placing my order and not hearing anything about the shipping I sent an email and answered me quickly that they have a problem printing out the shipping label and if I got another address, this is totally unacceptable and bullshit

Best price I could find for a brand new iPad Air 2025 model. Opted for the free delivery service, and the package arrived one day earlier than the tracking advised. Well packaged in a genuine sealed Apple box, so exactly as described. Very happy with the whole buying experience, which was simple and straightforward with email confirmation and tracking details.

Very disappointing experience with Techinthebasket.

I placed order #ORD100296463 and after ordering there was no update or response regarding delivery. I had to contact them myself to ask when I could expect my phone.

Only then I was told that my order was supposedly lost in transit and that the item was actually out of stock. They also mentioned this under request number 126890. This should have been communicated much earlier instead of leaving customers waiting with no information.

I replied immediately asking if a 512GB version was available and even offered to pay the difference because I urgently needed the phone, but after that there was again no response to my email.

Very poor communication, no proper stock management, and customers are left chasing for updates themselves. Extremely frustrating experience and I would not recommend ordering from them.

Delivery was quick. Cheapest by far to purchase a samsung s25 ultra. No issues with phone.
I needed a reciept with the imei number on it for an insurance claim (I lost it not because of a fault) and initially they took 10 days to respond to say they needed more info but once I gave that to them they sent my receipt within a day or two. Over all I though it was great as the phones were so cheap. I would buy from them again for sure.

Great price for an iPad Pro 11 - slow delivery (8 working days after order, so about a fortnight), but to be expected as coming from Hong Kong (it states 6-10 business days). Item was brand new, non-uk but came with mains adpater for charger.

I purchased some Sony WF-1000XM5 earbuds ($239) I received them on 28th March but after testing them they were faulty as the left earbud wasn't working so I sent them back and the company received them on 2nd April. For the last three weeks I've been emailing them back and forth at least 3 times a day asking for a refund but the only emails they send me are automated 'Zendesk' messages that don't help they just pussyfoot around and don't deal with the problem at hand I did get a few messages telling me that they'll get a 'human' customer service agent to help me but no one's bothered to help me at all there is no customer service I just keep getting ignored so after all the BS I took the next step and opened a case with The Department Of Fair Trading. I only purchased these earbuds because they were $100 cheaper than in the department stores and the in ear instructions were in chinese so they've come from China which doesn't help it's like they say if the offer sounds too good to be true then you're probably going to get scammed. So they've got their earbuds back they've got my money and they must think that they don't have to answer to anyone so buyers beware don't buy from this company because they don't give a s### about you!!!

Just got my Bose quietcomfort ultra gen 2 earbuds and they're just excellent! Order delivered within 4 days! Very impressed 👏

First time buyer from this company and this first experience is not encouraging. Awaiting any details on shipping an order I placed ten days ago. Sent several emails but only get automated responses. Regretting my purchase already.

complete fraudsters, they advertised a HUAWEI GT6 pro for £210 and they sent me a cheap knockoff which cost about £30 an avolon gt6 pro on letting them know that this wasnt what i ordered, and was just a cheap knockoff , and even showed them the evidence, there advert for the huawei gt6 was still live on google, lol showed them the order page, it doesnt even look like the watch i ordered, DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY, THEY ARE FRAUDSTERS, and when confronted with it, there reply was, ( titb ukcs (Techinthebasket)

In order to find the parcel quicker, please make sure to leave a note that includes the following information in the parcel, especially the Order Number (Write on outside package please).i showed them screenshots of everything and they still denied doing anything wrong. i have informed paypal and am going to take them to court for fraud, i advise you to do the same, its getting realy out of order now, these chinese fraudsters thinking, they can just send us any old rubbish and get away with it.

Well, I spent most of the afternoon trying without success to place an order on their website. Each time I pressed the "Place Order" button, the page just scrolls to the bottom and does nothing. It says thet you can register an account after checkout, but then it seems that you can't checkout without logging into an account. So I set up an account and logged in before trying again .. same problem though - click on "place Order" and the page just scrolls to the bottom and does nothing. Can't comment on the Company's products, as was never able to place an order, but their website is absolutely hopeless !

Absolutely shocking service. I ordered a Samsung A56 a few hundred pounds worth of phone. I now wish I had ordered from Amazon, only £10.00 more expensive.

I keep receiving emails saying it has been dispatched from Jubilee Mail Centre in Hounslow then today I received and email saying my phone has been delivered and signed for at Battersea Delivery office. I live in Northamptonshire, will I ever see my phone?

It is the second time that I use this website to buy a smartphone. My previous phone lasted 7 years. Both times I did not face any issues. Delivery was faster than I expected. I had the item at home in less than a week and the phone was working fine. It was the cheapest website that I found that phone. It was definitely worthy.

Pros:
So long story short, I’m ordered a new MacBook for extremely low even suspicious price. Guess what, I got a genuine new laptop, warranty in my case start to work from date when I opened it. Well packed, UK adapter included(laptop is US)
Cons:I choose a free delivery 6-8 days, tracking number was created almost instantly, shipped later - after I got an email about finished order processed.
Delivery:I’m ordered it 28 Feb, collected 10 Mar.I can consider that you need to count only working days.

Great product at best price and arrived within a week

Bought a Samsung S25 FE with free delivery. Was supposed to arrive in 6-8 working days, but surprisingly arrived in 5.

The phone is the Singapore version untied to any provider. So far works great in the UK and was £150 cheaper than anywhere else.

The original Samsung package was perfectly sealed with the extra customs stickers. No signs of tampering of hardware or software.

There are limitations with Samsung warranty in the UK, and that's why TITB provide their own warranty. It will probably be a nightmare to get any RMA or repairs, but fingers crossed. My previous S9+ lasted 8 years.

I will probably buy here again, conscious of the risks and the hassle if anything goes wrong.
