They stole my ₹1,999 just with their website

I saw one of their advertisements on reels and was shocked to see a ₹30,000 gadget for just ₹1,999, but I thought let’s give it a shot. I paid and got order confirmation, when i looked later it said order was never picked up and it is cancelled and not being delivered.

Scam alert

To Whom It May Concern,

I am writing to formally report and raise a complaint regarding a suspected online scam involving the sale of an e-book through a website that appears to be operating without transparency, accountability, or legitimate customer support. I believe this activity warrants investigation to protect consumers from further financial loss.

On or around [insert date], I made a purchase of an e-book advertised on Instagram. The advertisement appeared professional and legitimate, which led me to trust the offer and proceed with the payment. The total amount paid was ₹1,799, which was clearly stated as non-refundable at the time of purchase. However, despite completing the payment successfully, I have not received the e-book or any form of access to the product.

It has now been over 15 days since the transaction, and there has been no delivery of the purchased content. Furthermore, all attempts to contact the seller or organization have been unsuccessful. The website does not provide any valid customer care phone number, and there appears to be no effective support channel to resolve the issue. This absence of basic customer service infrastructure raises serious concerns about the legitimacy of the business.

What is particularly alarming is that the same company or individual continues to actively run advertisements on Instagram, promoting the same product and potentially misleading additional customers into making payments. This ongoing activity suggests a pattern of behavior that could be intentionally deceptive and financially harmful to the public.

Based on the following points, I strongly believe this may be a fraudulent operation:

- Payment of ₹1,799 completed, but no product delivered.
- More than 15 days have passed without fulfillment of the order.
- No functional customer care number or legitimate support system is available.
- No meaningful response to inquiries or complaints.
- Continued advertising on Instagram despite unresolved complaints.
- Lack of transparency regarding business identity and accountability.

I request that this matter be taken seriously and investigated at the earliest possible opportunity. If this platform or organization falls under your regulatory or supervisory authority, I respectfully urge you to:

- Investigate the website and its operators.
- Take appropriate action to prevent further consumer harm.
- Assist in facilitating a resolution or refund if possible.
- Ensure that misleading advertisements are removed from public platforms.

I am prepared to provide any additional information required, including transaction proof, payment screenshots, advertisement links, and website details, to support this complaint.

Thank you for your time and attention to this matter. I trust that appropriate steps will be taken to address this issue and safeguard other consumers from similar experiences.

Sincerely,
Ryan
