Entirely Telstra’s fault. Spent 60 minutes trying to create an account and buy an eSIM. Got No where. No easy to contact support. Horrible.

Refund took 6 years for Telstra to pay
Six years ago I cancelled my TELSTRA internet Plan and was told when I called that they would be sending me a check for the refund around $47
Well about 6 weeks ago I finally got the check after 6 years I had forgotten about it.
The Government should legislate that customers get to demand the same penalties as they would have been given if the situation was reversed.

Unfortunately never on the website did it say I cannot have more than two eSims. I bought the esim and couldn't use three esims apparently rulkes in Australia. But the thing is when I called them, they were not helpful in a way that when I said well I'd likle to cancel it how to do it on the app, she couldn't and didn't try to help me find how to do it and said I can either call them next month or she can do it right now so I can't use the esim at all. I told her I bought it just half an hour ago and she could have tried at least to help me guide how to cancel it myself in 3 weeks but she didn't. Also, I expected to hear ''I am sorry this happened to you'' but ''nothing like that was even mentioned. Anyway, very dissatisfied with hjow it was handled. Just paid money for 30 minute of service I couldn't use and 20 minutes on the phone and my money.

Telstra seems to be competing to go to the bottom of the pit!!! That's the good news. They've just increased their prices for my service which is slow and clumpy. I'm just HATING THE NEW telstra.com homepage - I detest businesses going down the path of "my"(service) - well disservice when it comes to telstra! Why does everything have to be about ME?? Plus there's all this floaty stuff on the homepage that's really irritating in the extreme!!!

We had NBN installed to the house
We had NBN installed to the house. For about 3 months we had the best download and upload speeds. Now it legitimately takes 5mins to open a google tab. And Telstra is the king of deflection as they will blame anything and everyone else for there shitty service.

I'm not sure how to even begin with the absurd level of incompetence Telstra continuously exercises. I have now been without a phone for three days. Telstra is unable to transfer an e-sim. Does not know why or what the problem is. Repeats the same things over and over asking to do the exact same process that has been done several times. Each new agent knows nothing of what the previous recorded, even though they state they will. Was assured that given their negligence my physical sim (which was their only solution as they don't know how to fix the e-sim) would be delivered the next business day. They now have changed their tune and are suggesting that it may take up to 5 days. 5 days without a phone trying to run a business. I have had to purchase a temporary sim just to make phone calls and a seperate one just for internet. Beyond any understanding how this company is actually in business with the level of incompetence they show. Meanwhile I have accumulated several hours of wasted time on the phone and chat.

Telstra give poor & unreliable service internet & phone service. Despite this, they think it's ok to increase prices as if that's to my benefit at all. Customer service is a waste of time & doesnt help you at all. Leaving & never going back. Strongly recommend AGAINST.

Where I live reception is very poor. Examples. A friend can send a msg from 100 metres away and I can receive it 3 days later. It might take me me 10 to 30 minutes to open my internet banking, etc etc.
I knew reception was poor when I moved here [Woombah] but my argument is. Why should I pay full price for less than half the service?
It's like paying for 100 litres of fuel and getting 30 litres.
Hours and hours on the phone to Telstra, sometimes talking to people that I struggle to understand, nothing changes.
I have recently found that I can pay less than half what I have been paying. Still Telstra network but different provider.

But try to get a Telstra phone unlocked, even though it is law to do so. (The phone is two years old).

I went into the midland store. I was put on a 15min waiting list but they got to me without 3mins, I was served by a lovely lady called Arsh. She helped me through the whole process and had a great chat about random things inbetween. overall great experience from her and the team!

I recently visited the Smithfield store in Queensland to help a friend purchase a new phone. We were so fortunate to have Nathan the manager of the store look after us. He was so helpful( did not try to upsell us and offered the best customer service: neither of us are particularly tech savvy and he could not have done more to make the transaction so smooth and helpful.
