Lies Lies Lies! This site should be closed! Free items what a joke. Credit what a joke! I've never ordered from this site until the other day. First off free spins... six free items blah blah blah. I put in an order and thought I was receiving my free solar bug catcher valued at around $60. No I paid for it but didn't get my other things. Strange! Then I put in another order thinking maybe I didn't read the fine print etc. No! I was supposed to be get $120 off my next order and free things yet again. So I then put in an order again spending another $80 something. This is false advertising TEMU!

Unfair referral mechanics and unpaid rewards (Ticket #1789127215208998)
Review: I fulfilled all conditions for the Hat-trick referral game, bringing 17 completely NEW app users and 48 existing ones. Support agent agreed to compensate, but only sent part of the amount and is now ignoring my ticket #1789127215208998 for the remaining $40 credit balance. False advertising and unethical dark patterns used to get free downloads

Asked by Temu to contact them..but they NEVER RESPOND..DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY IT IS A SCAM re so called free items…they are NOT..they select the cheap items and try to get more money from you with the possibility that you will get your selections..YOU WONT..I have wasted 40 Quid..will get something that will be worth less than 40 pounds..lWILL NEVER USE THEM AGAIN…

Temu is full of crap. It takes forever to pick out items due to all the advertising which isn’t worth anything. They lie about u receiving free items when u make certain purchases only to find out once u make the purchase they want u to buy more to get the reward you’ve already won! Highly do not recommend

Very disappointing experience. I selected five “free gifts” and was then prompted to make a purchase to receive them. I made an unnecessary purchase only because of this promotion, but the free gifts were not included. Customer service did not resolve the issue or refund my payment. I found the promotion extremely misleading.

CHEAP CRAP! Does NOT FIT , POORLY MADE! Seams coming undone! Fit is WAY TOO SMALL! They only allow one free return ! SAVE YOUR TIME AND MONEY

DO NOT DO THE PROMOTIONS!!!! I use to love the spend X amount of money and get Y amount of free gifts. Will they changed that without letting us know. now you have to spend the same amount of money to start the promotion and then spend the same about to get each of the "free" items. and when I contacted support the offered me like 10% off my next order even though I already spent 50 dollars.

I am absolutely APPALLED and LIVID. The only reason I chose TEMU over ALIEXPRESS was FARMLAND! I awoke this morning to find I had over a thousand waterings deleted overnight and Farmlandc has been STRIPPED OF EVERYTHING! It was a fun thing to do to gain free quality items whilst shopping. I have 4 orders worth $600 pending and I intend to cancel the them and return the order that's been posted already. TEMU has been gradually stripping the game slowly over time because I believe TEMU believe their customers are stupid. Not to mention the free items are cheap and nasty with a selection of approximately 5. So goodbye TEMU and hello ALIEXPRESS! ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING HOW TEMU TREATS THEIR CUSTOMERS!
UPDATE: I have already contacted TEMU directly. You have gutted FARMLAND and customer service are powerless and you know it. I dare say I won't be the only one leaving.

Worst experience ever. The only reason I tried temu was because of their promotions for free items. Only to find out, they make you spend money to get the free items, then once you actually are able to get them, they say your payment “timed out. Just spent over 2 hours messaging and being transferred to 4 different people for my problem to be unresolved. I placed an order which included $100 of not free items and $100 of free items because I already purchased over $100 in items for the event. Then, I find out my payment process “timed out”. It didn’t do that for any of my other orders? Temu is a literal scam and I would not recommend to anyone. The customer service team is all AI, and you won’t receive help even if you’re trying to put through an order that was already processed then once they see you’re getting a lot of money in free items they pull bs on you. I tried once and will never go back to Temu ever again. Worst app ever.

I've read through some of the other reviews and yes they are that bad. They must employ elite photographers because the photos are miss leading to say the very least. A lot of the stuff is rubbish and it is far easier just to put it in the bin. Delivery can take forever. The final straw came when I was told I had two free gifts if I cracked the egg I could have five free gifts. Of course after you have paid it becomes the two cheapest gifts and when you query this with them they give you a complicated load of nonsense. They are in China and not obliged to obey English standards. Some of the stuff is so bad it's funny but when they started blatantly conning me with the free gifts rubbish that was the final straw for me

The 6 gifts are a total scam,n the end, when it asks you to add your card detailsthe when you open it, you see that items aren't free but come at a price and if you're a bit distracted, it catches you out.then there are the items for sale in miniature ones that make them look like they are normal sized,..items like bicycles, benche press ecc

I don’t mind buying from Temu the clothing you have to be very careful. They always show you a picture of one thing and something else arrives at the home of a lower quality. There’s a lot of sales gimmick spin the wheel and you will get three free items if you buy certain amount I bought something and my free items. I did not receive them so you really have to understand when they say you get cooped $300 off $200 off you’re actually not getting that money and I still don’t understand where that money is going to because I buy it and I’m not getting any percentage off. I don’t know where the 300 and the $200 go be very careful. I feel like they are tricky so that you spend money.

Don’t buy from Temu, it’s a rip off. After a difficult and lengthy navigation I ordered about $130 of items only to receive about $35 of my merchandise and hardly any of my “free” items. I kept getting messages say my orders were out of stock after I paid for them, and the link to replace it with another item only tried to get me to buy additional items. I was unable to get a refund and got nowhere through their customer service that was also difficult to navigate.

Horrible app!
I paid £10.97 for 2 items and getting the refund of £4.75!
I can get a full refund but in coupons! That I have to spend within 3 days!
And spend, again, over £15 to get free shipping!

I have used TEMU quite a bit but the pop up so called free offers are very very annoying because they make you think you will receive free items and in the end I never received what I thought I had won in fact, I ended up paying for the so called free items! You can spend ages and ages scrolling and spending. Yes it’s easy to return goods and get refunded, and I found the quality is usually pretty good but beware of wasting time and money in their giveaway traps!

Over the past several years I have ordered quite a few items from Temu. Prices were low and it was easy to return an item if poor quality and in most cases they just gave you a refund and didn't want the product returned. Now there are what amounts to two stores ...products shipped from China which are free shipping if you meet the minimum order and items shipped from a warehouse in the US. That second category has shipping charges for each item unless you buy a minimum from the same seller. I've also noticed that the prices of many of the items in the China inventory are priced considerably higher than they could be bought for on Amazon what happened to all the great deals? Today I went to order something from a warehouse and it listed a reasonable price. Then a higher price showed when I went to check out but I was never showed an invoice with taxes shipping etc. When trying to get that I ended up just purchasing the item without meaning to so I had to cancel it. I also deleted the app. This seems like sleazy business practices to me than I am tired dealing with demon. I'll just buy from Amazon even though Amazon is also prone to sleazy practices like trying to trick you out of free shipping by defaulting to fast shipping for extra fees and not showing the itemized bill before you pay. It's the same stuff and generally the same price but with more transparent reviews. I Believe that many of Temu's reviews are false... even worse than Amazons. I once placed an order with five or six items and wrote a five-star review on one particular item. Then I went to look at my reviews and saw that temu had given five star reviews on all six items in the order! I guess that's why you see so many five star reviews with no text. Then there's the ridiculous games they throw at you when you open the site. You try and delete them but they keep popping up. One time I spent a bunch of time playing with the goofy things only to find that it kept raising the bar and I never got any of the supposedly offered discounts. I've just had enough of this sleazy Chinese marketing crap!

You can't believe what they say you never get any free credit don't believe it. They keep wanting you to spend to reach your alleged cash out or credit with each extra boost they tell you you have reached your unlocking of credit but it never happens they just want you to spend spend spend and you never reach your credit.
If it's too good to be true chances are it's not true please don't waste your time or money on these scammers.

I was a regular customer of Temu, however this experience & how their customer service failed to take any accountability for deception has tainted my experience now.
I simply needed to exchange a pair of shoes that didnt fit, going through the FREE returns process online is easy - however on this occasion, Temu offered me a free, instant coupon for the same amount as the shoes, without requiring me to post the shoes back or wait for the refund credit. So I accepted hoping to get my new shoes even quicker.
However the deception is within the fact Temu requires a MINIMUM £15 spend to check out and this coupon does NOT count towards the amount spent! A customer would not be aware of this information at the time of accepting the coupon. I was now stuck, needing to spend an additional £15 of my own money on items I didnt intend on buying.
So I connected to the online chat and emailed Temu customer services, whom have gone backwards & forwards with me, repeatedly sending 'generic' responses which didnt make sense, didnt acknowledge their deception & at one point offered me a £8 credit instead.
If Temu continue to do this during their Returns process - they will be making a lot of extra revenue off the customers and it is deceptive to advertise this process as a 'FREE Return' process. Do not accept these coupons.
*UPDATE: Temu; your responce is incorrect, as I currently do not have an open ticket - Temu gave me an £8 credit, repeatedly failed to even understand my complaint & closed the ticket.

I've ordered items .many times from temu. Most packages arrive, , some haven't.
The one thing I would advise people is don't bother with the " free items" and then hae to spend more than £10 on top you dont get the free items,. It's a scam.
Overall,their customer services have improved. But, at the end of day, you get what you pay for.
