I tried Temu and was happy with the price and what I ordered (over $300 of things) However, some things I ordered did not fit or were not what I thought they would be. I knew that I would only receive one FREE return so I waited until I had received all of my things to make one return with a label. That's when the problem began. First of all, I didn't realize I had to go to the post office instead of UPS like I had done for one item returned with no hassle. I put 14 items in one box and got the label (snipped because it was so small) I took the label to the post office and they couldn't read it because the label was too small. I went to the Temu site and they said I'd have to cancel my 14 item return and return each item separately and pay for each to be shipped back because they couldn't find the label to send to my email. I copied the label I had into the chat along with the 14 items. They had to confirm my identity to send another copy of the label. I went to my email and there was a response but no label I sent a reply back and got a message that this is a no response email! I found the label and will print it at work next week! What a hassle just for the $24 to be refunded to my debit card! I'm happy that I got a lot of items for a really low cost, but the return process is not user friendly, especially if you don't have a printer or are returning more than one item.
Temu also keeps sending you text and emails to give you "credit" for your orders, but you have to have a minimum of $10-$20 to get the credit. They say to choose gifts, but the gifts to choose from are things I already ordered!!! It's like gambling when you spin the wheel. It always lands on one thing, $100 credit and you have to spend that amount to get it! I've learned my lesson. If you are looking for cheap things and have plenty of money, Temu has them all, and it can be addictive! Don't try to return items. It's not worth the hassle. Check carefully before you buy an item in the reviews, size, and description of what it is made of. They're counting on you to just keep what you don't like or donate it! Ask yourself if you really need something. I'm happy that I got some things I really needed for cheap, but I'm not happy about the hassle to return items you don't like!

Every time I went to put an order in..the price on every item went up like an additional $10.00 or more…I told my husband…how can they advertise one thing and then rip you off upon checkout? ALSO it would SWITCH AND BAIT ME by saying order this amount and you will receive these FREE ITEMS..THEN right before checking out…the higher priced freebies would all be SOLD OUT…THEIR IS NO SENCE TO THIS COMPANY..ITS JUST A PLANE RIP OFF..My husband ordered something and IT ALSO RANG UP MORE THAN WHAT WAS ADVERTISED..I bought just a cheap pair of socks to see if the quality matched and THE SOCKS TOOK 2 WEEKS TO COME IN AND WERE CRAP..I DONT EVEN THINK DONATING THEM TO A SHELTER WILL GET ANY USE OUT OF THEM..I AM VERY FED UP AND WOULD STRONGLY ADVISE TO JUST ORDER OFF OF WALMART OR AMAZON AT LEAST THEN YOU CAN RETURN THE CRAP THEY SEND YOU

Temu gives you a discount for not returning something you may not want and only a partial refund it saves them postage and you taking it to a post office. The discount is time limited so it encourages you to spend unnecessarily to get your money back that sits in a package they call discount. If an item you then purchase is sent incorrectly they will give you the money back you paid less the discount, but wait a moment you paid for the discount earlier. They are clearly operating a scam. Always return everything their offers are a scam and you will lose.

You have to buy a minimum amount to be able to get the credits and when you do you don't get credits or free items..total scam..

Farmland is a terrible, time-wasting game. Please don't mislead or scam users by promoting so-called free gifts.

I have tried Temu. First thing they do is give me a free choice of products. They show me cheap products some of which are actually unsafe. I cant click on anything because they are showing me garbage. So I leave frustrated and uninstall. It comes off as a cheap liquidation center. I wanted a substitute for Amazon. This isnt it.

I know! If it seems too good to be true, it is! Eight free gifts if you buy two I’m a sucker! I paid for my two and never got my eight! Am I surprised no! But was I a little bit optimistic just a little… Don’t be taken or scammed like me!

It's a shell game and in my opinion a scam.
You pick nine gifts or something, (when does assume this may be a great introductory offer), and it tells you they're going to be free, and then they charge you a nominal fee, collect your payment information, and then discover, due to some complicated terms and agreements, you actually get one one of the most expensive things you've ordered, and one free piece of garbage, item, that you never chose in the first place.
But by then, it's too late, and comes up with confirm button but you know what?
They've taking your money for overpriced junk.

I’d give Temu 0 stars if I could, heck -1 stars if possible. Terrible first experience with Temu. I expected to get 10 items with their ridiculous “spin the wheel” thing and all the other over-the-top Chinese/Las Vegas slot pop-ups, to only get 5 items for $56. Like, where are the other extra 5 items u said was free?? On top of that, the items are still sh*t even with the reviews. So unreliable and felt like I lost money for trash items and false advertising. NEVER going back to Temu again.

As always, Temu advertises five free gifts so after you pick the gifts, they want you to submit $30 in purchases which I did and immediately the five free gifts disappeared. They do this garbage constantly so I would definitely not use them. AMAZON is a much better deal than the bullshit. You have to go through with this stupid company.

They have the worst customer service that I have ever had to deal with and they do not take responsibility for the mistakes their customer service representative make. I recently purchased a product when it came in it was to small so the customer service representative told me to dispose of the item and they would ship out a replacement so I did for the first 2 days it showed the item was getting ready to ship then all of sudden they told me I had to return the package the customer service representative told me to dispose of and they refused to acknowledge the screenshots of him telling me to dispose of it. It took 2 months but I disputed the purchase through my bank and got my money back half of these products are junk anyway are the product description is mis leading. I want to update my review after leaving this review customer service reached out and I was finally issued a refund now the next thing I want to warn you about is the rewards games like you buy so many and get so many free i made all qualifying purchases on the second prize calendar game and received more coupons when making purchases than prizes which in return made me have to make more purchases to actually receive the free items well on the last day of the calendar game the final purchase was higher than the normal $10 or $20 purchase you have to make it was a $30 purchase that had to be made to receive the free gift again I reached out to customer service and the reason for tge increased price was because an extra free gift was added so the customer service representative instructed me that I had completed the calendar game a few days early so to not complete the purchases that day to wait til the next day and the extra free gift would fall off and the price of the final purchase would return to the the normal $10 or $20 purchase well I did and lost the final prize all together after making every purchase necessary and even making extra purchases to complete the calendar quicker they refused to give my final prize after I followed the customer service representative instructions I also want to point out that these gifts are infact not free because after making ALL the required purchases to receive them and the increased shipping price. The extra purchases you have to make pretty much cover the cost of the free gifts. Temu will never get a 5 star review until the right every wrong they did by scamming me out of my hard earned money

I placed an order this month because of the six free items they were advertising. I also made sure to place orders totaling $13 so they would ship everything. I've had trouble with temu before so I haven't placed an order for a while. I received one of the items and was told the other item would be delivered in a few days. These were the two items that I paid cash for. There was nothing in there order about the free items. I called them and asked them what the problem was. They told me that I had to place the cash items first and then place the free items afterwards. I tried to tell them that I followed the directions that were on the website but she wouldn't listen. This is why I will never order from temu again. They give bad information on their website and they always screw the customer somehow. Very very disappointed in them and will never order again

Deceptive Practices: Unfair Balance Restrictions and Refusal to Honor Earned Referral Rewards
Review Text:
I am writing this review to report an unacceptable and anti-consumer practice by Temu regarding earned account balance and promotional rewards.
1. Unfair Balance Lock: After successfully completing event requirements and inviting 23 users to the platform, I earned a legitimate credit balance. However, Temu has placed technical restrictions on my profile, preventing me from using my own balance freely.
2. Forced Minimum Order Threshold: The system forces an arbitrary "Minimum Order Threshold" on my checkout, requiring me to spend additional money out-of-pocket just to utilize the credit I rightfully earned.
3. Refusal of Solutions or Cash-Out: When requesting support to remove this technical barrier or process a manual refund/cash-out, Temu refused, claiming policies prevent transferring compensation credits to bank accounts while simultaneously refusing to fix the checkout restrictions.
4. Contradictory & Automated Support: Customer service agents (including Christopher and Walter under Ticket IDs: 1787211283101785, 1786473289101352, and 1786612540101959) have provided completely deflection-based, automated responses. They falsely claimed I was requesting "free credit without reason," blamed event complexity, and offered minor 5 JOD coupon bandages instead of addressing the balance hold.
5. Anti-Consumer Retention: Trapping earned user credit behind forced minimum spends is a deceptive pattern designed to compel extra spending.
I demand an immediate manual review by management to unlock my balance and remove the checkout restriction without requiring additional spend.
[UPDATE]: This is a generic marketing response that does not address my issue. I have already contacted your support multiple times (Tickets: 1787211283101785, 1786473289101352), and your team refused to fix the balance restriction or remove the forced minimum spend limit. Stop posting copy-paste promotional templates and resolve the issue directly on my account.

This company offers a lot of inexpensive products, but you have to be careful with how you shop. Every time I ordered something with very few or no reviews, the results were generally disappointing. I personally always buy each item individually, which means I pay the three dollars shipping per item, but this guarantees free shipping and a refund of the shipping I paid for if I choose to send the item back. Generally speaking, items with a good number of reviews will generally not disappoint, but keeping in mind the old saying: if something is too good to be true, it probably is.
