Usually TFL is good, but occasionally they overcharge and the charges are posted after the day you were traveling. It is possible to complain and get your money back, but it is an arduous process.

If it can, I definitely rate 0 star

I take the Bus Journey, Route 91 and 18 but route 18 is delayed. I waited at the bus station for over 30 minutes. TFL charged me double. It is not responsible and reasonable that I need to pay more than usual for a delayed service. I emailed TFL but after 10 working days, they have still not replied. It is terrible and just like stealer to steal my money. I tried to take routes 91 and 18 before and they just charged me 1.75 which is acceptable and nice.

Beyond abysmal!

Awful awful experience, with a so called professional TfL driver shouting at me, claiming I hadn’t paid for my journey when I did in front of him, he called the police on me and was forced to tell the truth and say I did pay! No accountability from anyone in this rubbish organisation! I’ve been sent from pillar to post, round in circles as no one wants to take the blame or responsibility. I had to repeatedly email before getting an answer and it looks like they’ve blocked me after saying in line with their HR policy, they can’t disclose what they’ll do with him. Trash people. If they’re not striking for more money, they’re displaying how poor their customer services are. Many of other hard working individuals would be happy to have that job and be better at it!

Shame on you!!!

A 10 minutes trip by tube from Hounslow East to South Ealing (tapped in and out,as usual) costed me £9.90 in that day,and if that was not enough i was charged the next day same amount, even i was home all day. So that is a total of £19.80. This time you won't get away with it. Few months back you charged me twice £6.60 for a trip from Hounslow East to Heathrow Terminal 4. People on the phone are doing everything possible to send you to the tfl account website, where you can't do anything about refunding unless you had your bank card registered pre travel. I emailed you as well, looks like an answer is expected within 10 working days, while my money is blocked into your bloody pockets. Will give it maximum a month and if not fully refunded i will take you to court,YES FOR THIS LITTLE AMOUNT OF MONEY I AM WILLING TO SPEND A LOT JUST TO HAVE ALL MY MONEY BACK!!!

Utterly useless…
Oh, and when you point out to staff how terrible the service is be careful you’re not reported for assault…
The staff were unable to explain the cancellation, obviously 🙄

Tfl don't care about vulnerability

My husband broke his ankle 3 months ago and we have been in dire circumstances as he was only earning SSP. They will not relook at 2 penalty notices as we thought the car had added to their website and it hadn't. It was a genuine error as if they'd bothered to look at the account I had paid the Monday and Tuesday, added the car and assumed it would all be ok but no, there had been an error of some sort, leaving me with a bill of £180 that we can ill afford. If you are vulnerable, as we were, they don't give a continental. Unbelievably shameless

TFL staff tricked the passengers on customer service

I applied for the refund of your overcharge on 26.Feb by phone , and I was allowed to use the screenshot as the evidence to do the refund on 22. Feb because of TFL technical problem about the adding contactless ,I could not wait for long , so I called TFL staff on 26th Feb , she asked many questions to be sure that I am eligible to get the refund, she promised me that the she had done the refund processing , it need to wait about 5 working days , however, I don see any refund yet. Your colleague did trick me , That was too rude and crazy.

Absolutely shocking,TfL do not care about the people who live in London and the outer boroughs or the visitors to London. All they care about is making money with false fines. Ulez has not made any difference to the air quality. The London mayor is a theif

Bad service

I have used public transport twice in the last couple of weeks. The 1st time my daughter and I went to the theatre in our local town. We were waiting for the bus home. The bus app was saying due in 1 minute, then due in 2 minutes, this went on for 30 minutes. The busses are meant to run every 20 minutes. We ended up having to get 2 different busses. A 40 minute journey took over 2 hours in the end.
My 2nd journey was into the West End for another theatre trip.this time by train. We had booked a table for dinner before the show. The journey started well, we got as far as Lewisham when the train stopped. We sat there for ages eventually the train was diverted but crawled along. We ended up getting 2 tube trains, that weren't part of the original planned journey. We missed our restaurant booking and ended up eating a meal deal and eating it on the tube. We just made it to the theatre in time for the play.

Dinosaur outfit needs investigating

Been waiting since June 2023 for my PCO licence from this communist outfit. Enhanced DBS Clear. Topographical test passed. Language test passed. H&S test passed. Absolute shower of effluent. Test centre in Cromwell Road staffed by r3t4rds. Computers from the 90s. Work at snails pace. Dinosaur outfit that needs to be investigated for gross incompetence beyond any measurable scale.
