When I first started using TheBookPatch several years ago, they were decent, but that changed. It began when I couldn’t upload books onto their site for entire weekends at a time. “No big deal,” I thought, “I’ll do it Monday.” Then one day their website went black. The only words on the screen read: “WE ARE CLOSED.” Did they go out of business? There was no word, no warning, or no explanation to let their customers and account holders know what was happening and what to expect. None of the phone numbers that I could find for them worked. I finally called the BBB and discovered they had an F-rating. A few days later, their website was up and running again, so I continued uploading books.

A few days ago, I noticed that 8 out of my 12 books have disappeared from their site. I did not delete them, so where did they go? Every time I call any one of their numbers, I get their voicemail (no matter what time or day). I’ve e-mailed twice and still haven’t received a response. I’m not sure if new management took over or what is going on, but this company runs very poorly and should no longer be in business. Now I see why they are rated F. They have a failing rating for a reason. If anybody reads this, please: DON’T DO BUSINESS with these people. You will regret it, I guarantee. There are many other sites out there with which to self-publish. My advice: Find a business that is built on rock, not on sand.

I love The Book Patch. my first order had issues that I caused myself....but Resty helped me sort it out. I just ordered my second revised edition and the help that Resty gave me was invaluable. I highly recommend them for affordable and quality printing. And their customer service is outstanding.

The work is excellent. My books were beautifully done. But the customer service is not good . Calling nobody answers. My order was lost and I had to track it down. I wasn't refunded any off the shipping for my time. Then they made it my fault. Didn't believe me i had to get a note from the post office so i vould get them reprinted Another order was some how was printed on the wrong file. Even though I have been saving it the same way. No problem with 5 books. The 6 book was wrong. How ????? Then I was refunded instead of getting a call about the order. Now because I used there coupon for 10% off and the order sat for about 2 weeks before I was emailed about the problem I can't use it. Again quality is great customer service sucks. You really need to fix your customers service.

This is my first time using BookPatch, and as a self-publisher, I have to say that I was VERY pleased with the results! The quality was excellent! The book cover, back cover, and side printing were clear and accurate. The binding was strong and solid! The book pages all lined up, and the quality of the paper was perfect! I will definitely be using them again for my future projects.

For starters, Im a new author and this first time publishing a book. Because of the price i thought maybe the quality wouldn't be that great but what i received was by far the worst thing i have ever saw. The book they sent me looks like a middle schoolers math workbook. The covers of my books had my title cut off and my name was not on the book. This is their business and they failed. This company needs to do better for their customers and stop giving mediocre products.

My book was over 400 pages and had hundreds of color photos. The quality of the whole book from the cover, binding and photos was beyond outstanding!! Very happy customer!

Both Resty and Kristylle were very patient and helpful, with assisting towards my inquire. They even rolled up their sleeves, and helped with my process of uploading portions of my book.

I thought everything was going to be a breeze but that was not the case! All I did was change my PDF text after already creating the perfect front and back cover and once I did that to move forward, it erased everything with no backup to go back and place all I said the way it was. I have emailed, left messages and etc. What kind of business does not have real live customer service reps to handle such issues to ensure customer satisfaction and sales? I mean every time I call, I get a voicemail that ends up hanging up. This is a terrible site and company.

Whenever I have to reach out to the BookPatch team for help I receive top quality customer support. I never have to contact them more than once to resolve an issue.

My wife has now written 5 books for our grandchildren and I have used Book Patch to produce them all. It’s a great source for our purposes …. Good quality and affordable for very low production runs.

Both The Book Patch software and supporting staff have been most helpful as I bumble my way through the steep learning curve around self publishing. This is a very forgiving site because you can make a mistake, fix it and learn. There is no penalty for being a beginner. I am so grateful for the opportunity to see my works come to life.

As a new and unknown author, I decided to save money and go the self-publishing route. A friend of a friend told me about The Book Patch. I could not be happier with the ease of publishing, the quality of the printing, and the quick and helpful customer service when a very small percentage of my books arrived damaged. Through TheBookPatch my friends created a magnificent book, and the first order was perfect. I recently reordered a supply for a November deadline and unfortunately there was a print error. Quite honestly, I left voice messages and emailed a few days before receiving a response. However, once Kristylle contacted me I was able to send photos to document the problem. And once I got to speak with her by phone, she fast-tracked a resolution, and within three days a perfectly printed supply was delivered to my doorstep at no charge. And I am back on schedule with my deadline and just love the books.
As previously mentioned, Kristylle is professional, courteous, clearly understood the error and went above and beyond to resolve the issue. Also as mentioned, the books were very well packed.

Exceeded my expectations. The printing costs were far less than competitors whose reviews were terrible. The quality is excellent and it took apx a week from ordering for the copies to arrive in the mail.

The Book Patch is high quality for a reasonable price.

I've been using TBP since 2015 and I've always received books of high fidelity and quality. Their system for building books is the best I've used (compared to Amazon and Nook). Their customer service is excellent, and they truly consider your needs when assisting.

If you're looking to publish a quality book, this is the spot. The price is fair, the people here are awesome, and the results are professional.
