My daughter bought me a pair of DMs from The Boot Company for Christmas (I know, lucky me!) but I’d been cautious on the size and they were too big. I contacted The Boot Company direct to see if I could do an exchange. They were brilliant! No hassle exchange, bought a pre-paid label, popped the order in with a scribbled note to return the new size to me and, despite all the trouble with Royal Mail, I received them really quickly. Well packaged, no hassle, fabulous company. It was so good to speak to someone directly, I really felt looked after and that my order was important to them. Can’t recommend this company highly enough!

Over and above service!
Like many customers I was awaiting an order from the Boot Company which was held up due to Royal Mail strike action. Last week Tom re-sent the boots I ordered using DHL for delivery. I received these just 1 day later! Today, after 24 days the original boots finally arrived. Tom and other staff from the boot company have been polite, patient and have gone over and above to sort out a situation that was not of their making. I cannot recommend their service enough. Thank-you so much.

Good product, can't fault them.
Rating based on fact that boots ordered on 25/11 took more than two weeks to arrive. I know that this was not down to the Boot co, but the post office. However, it was up to ME to find out and I received no notification of the situation online until AFTER I had contacted the company. They should have been abreast of the stuation. This for future reference !

Really lovely small business
Really lovely small business. I would highly recommend them. My first order with them was recently and although deliveries have been affected by strike action, they have gone above and beyond to deliver the shoes I ordered.

Ordered a pair of shoes on the 28th Nov.
Unfortunately, they've been delayed due to industrial action.
With a massive backlog for Royal Mail to deal with the tracking didn't update on my order for a long time, so instead of making me wait for the original order to deliver, as it was a present, I have been sent a second pair via DHL.
I have now received both pairs and the company instantly provided me with a return label for the extra pair.
I think as a business I've got better customer service here than from a larger company that wouldn't care that much about their client.

Had such a great experience with this company! Ordered a pair of Dr Martens in the Black Friday sale as a Christmas gift for my dad, but unfortunately there was an error with my address which meant the parcel couldn’t get delivered and got returned back to the Boot Company. I contacted the Boot Company and spoke to Tom who was ever so helpful and said he would send the boots back once they have been returned to them. A few days later Tom called me to let me know they had received it back and he is going to mail it back to the correct address. Feel like you don’t get this level of customer service with companies anymore now that everything is being drop shipped & can only speak to robots most of the time, so it’s so refreshing to come across a company that values their customers and will help where they can! Won’t be buying my Dr Martens or any other shoe they stock anywhere else but the Boot Company! Thank you so much Tom & team! Couldn’t recommend more.
Fantastic service
Berghaus walking boots repair.
I have a pair of Berghaus walking boots which required resoling. Berghaus don't provide this service because they just want you to buy a new pair of boots.
So after some inetrnet searching I was delighted to find the BRC, a local company, which could resole them. Two weeks ago, I took my boots into their new and impressive premises on Hunslet Road industrial estate in south Leeds.
I got my boots back a couple of days ago and the repair work was excellent, as was the BRC's customer service. Many thanks to Jamie Whitehouse and all the staff for a first class job.
This is a UK company employing UK workers so I wish them every success for the future.

Very good repair. Well fitted new rand. It took 3 weeks instead of the 6 to 8 weeks I was given.
Stupidly I forgot to enclose my details with my boots but they still sorted the repair out.
