The setup and interaction was great. The actors were phenomenal. I did feel like there wasn’t enough interaction with the actors as far as to the suspects/criminal goes. I guess the solution not becau... See more

The Dinner Detective is America's largest interactive true crime mystery comedy dinner show! Solve a hilarious and engaging mystery while you feast on a fantastic dinner. Just beware! The killer is hiding somewhere in the room, and you may find yourself as a Prime Suspect! Our show is very different from traditional true crime mystery dinner shows. We will hide non-costumed actors in the audience that are pretending to be part of the crowd. This results in a much more social and interactive evening than with other shows. Our shows are set during the present day and take place in real time. Over the course of the night, our costumed Detectives will uncover clues, interrogate audience members that may or may not be part of the show, and help everyone get closer to solving the mystery.

was very interactive and very fun
We had such a fantastic time! From the host to each of the actors, the show was fun, interesting and had us guessing all the way though. Everything about the evening was top notch. We'll definitely be attending more shows as new ones come to town. Thank you!

Went with my wife on a Saturday and the show started right at 7 so we were not sitting around waiting. The actors walked between tables the whole time and at one point they pulled my brother-in-law up front as a suspect, which had the room cracking up. Dinner was chicken with mashed potatoes, nothing fancy but it came out hot and the servers kept the drinks filled. We stayed after to take pictures with the cast and nobody rushed us out.

The evening was really funny and interacted well. The food was okay and the mystery was a little tough to solve with all the red her rings. But it was a great evening!

Of all the murder mystery dinner shows I've seen, this was absolutely the worst. Almost half of the people didn't get to eat until 8:30pm. The actors kept saying the same thing! I forgot the clue!?!? The tea was horrible and I felt guilty because I was one of the people that got to eat on time.

I liked the organization and flow of the evening. Adequate breaks were given. The food options were good and the service and location were fine. The interaction with the audience was good. The plot was a little too complex for most people to follow. The acting was so-so but got better as the evening progressed. What I took offense of was the last statement given to us (ie. "Get the F--- out of here") - that left a bad impression with everyone at our table. Not a good way to end the evening, even though it was meant as a joke, it was in bad taste.

We have been to several different murder mystery dinners in the past, and this one was absolutely the worst experience. There really was no plot at all, lots of down time where nothing happens, no story at all. The food was not very good, and portions were controlled. not one appetizer although it was in their. Don't waste your money, Have a good dinner somewhere else.

Awful! First, we attendees were locked out of the building and had to wait outdoors with thunder and lightning. When we got in, my party of 3 was told we were assigned to a table that only had 2 chairs available. It took a person from the host site (on food duty) to help. It was like pulling teeth. I had to keep asking for things like the salad, silverware, the detective form, the pencil, etc. There were only 2 young guys in the "cast." They had juvenile humor--the one put on an Elmer Fudd speech impediment which no one could understand, and joked with his buddy that his name is "Deep Johnson." There was no skit. No story line. Nothing to solve as it was so discombobulated with unrelated pieces here and there. Took forever and was torturous, especially when the host "actor" (who didn't care about resolving our seating issue that they created) turned on a loud boom box and just stood with nothing going on. We desperately wanted to leave but since I paid extra for my daughter to be a "suspect" I wanted to see what they would do as it was getting later and later. Guess what being a suspect meant. The host "actor" (he never acted, just improvised quips) just asked the "suspect" to stand and he asked what you do for a living. Pretty lame. If you absolutely have to go for some desperate reason, don't pay extra for a suspect. Food was ok but minimal. Would not recommend. Nothing at all like a murder mystery.

I took my cousin along with 3 other family members on Saturday, October 10, 2026 to the Double Tree Hotel in Palm Beach Gardens. Your ad was false advertisement. It stated that pass around Hors d'oeuvres were included & we never received them. The acting was so unprofessional with a lot of screaming because the microphone did not work. The food which I had the chicken breast, was so dry I couldn’t eat it. Then desert was never served by 9pm and we had to leave. The whole show was very confusing. Nobody at my table understood it. For the money we paid it certainly was not worth it. Would not recommend this to anyone.

Gentlemen, I attended this Dinner Detective event last night (Oct 10) and it was not a very good experience. To begin with we were a party of 12, Ten people from the group were seated together and I, along with my companion were placed at a different table. We specific requested that if you would not create a table for 12 (other than just 10), to break us up into two groups of six so we could sit with friends, which did not happen. Im a pretty social guy and probably would have accepted the situation had it not been for the fact that the other 8 at the table were all friends (They were a total group of 16 who were broken up into two groups of 8). The others at the table were gracious, but since we were not .in their group were not included in much of the conversations (Some thought we were planted by the event organizers).
Additionally, as part of the menu hors devours were to be included, they were not. Bottom line, as a result of not being seated with our friends and left at a table where we didn't fit in , microphone problems which made it difficult to hear and some issues with the food, I would like a full refund of our 2 tickets. This was a very negative experience.
