I placed an order 3 weeks ago for an…

I placed an order 3 weeks ago for an item showing as in stock. I still haven’t received my order. I’ve not had any updates or correspondence from this company re my order & i’m unable to contact them as their website is down, they aren’t taking telephone calls & the email address they tell me to email at is not operational. My advise to anyone considering spending money with this company is DON’T! Go elsewhere as the reviews reflect how bad this company is. I feel ripped off!

Eventually received but queries ignored

Ordered 8 days ago, haven't had an update on my order or received it. Have contacted them twice & been ignored. Will be claiming back my money from the credit card company

Edit:
I received my order within 15 days of order. The order is high quality and is complete. I have deducted a star as I wasn't kept informed on where my order was even when I queried

Ordered several sets of Jigtech…

Ordered several sets of Jigtech latches, deadbolts and hole & saw sets from them a couple of weeks ago. Didn't get a confirmation email but they sent one when I requested one from them.
All arrived today. Very well packaged and I am very pleased.
I'd read the negative reviews so was a bit worried but now I believe they deserve positive feedback.

MANAGE PEOPLES EXPECTATIONS BETTER

I read the reviews after i'd placed my order, so knew not to expect the items immediately.
I waited about 4 weeks, then decided to chase up. I called the store and spoke to a harassed sounding guy. He took my number and said he would call me back after chasing up my order. I didnt hear back, but the items arrived a few days later. No despatch email, just a text from DHL.
The items themselves are great and the one that wasnt sent has been refunded, so i'm guessing they were out of stock- which was the hold up?

I mean, it's not great, but i dont believe they're a shadey company.. possibly just understaffed or more popular than they were expecting and having trouble keeping up with demand.
They get peoples business by never showing items as out of stock on their website. They could save themselves a whole lot of hassle if they just managed peoples expectations better instead of taking their money then leaving them hanging.

An update on my previous review

Customer service seems now to be operating again - at least by telephone - and my problem has been resolved without any difficulty. The previous lack of customer service was attributed to my emails ending up in 'spam'.

Odd one to review, goods did arrive a few days late

Odd one to review as I did actually receive my order in full (May 2021).

Website had all the items I wanted and cheapest overall. Website said items would be dispatched 5-7 working days after order. Placed the order and received a confirmation email. Great.

In the first week, the website just said the order was processing. At the start of the 2nd week, the website went down for maintenance. The website has now been down for 2.5 weeks and counting, no way to run an on-line business! I guess they're closing it which made me worry about my order!

However, on the 9th working day, I had a text from DPD saying a delivery would happen the next day. Didn't say where it was coming from and I never received a dispatch email from DoorHandleStore but sure enough, it was the whole order.

So, mixed feelings, I had no idea if my order was coming, I can't log into the account but everything did arrive albeit a few days late.

Note, they have a near identical sister website called Door Handles And More (does say it's from The Door Handle Store). Same phone number and that website is working.

Very poor service

Very poor service. Ordered 6 weeks ago and since then, I have emailed twice and have failed to obtain a single response. There has been no effort to arrange a full refund or make me aware of any updates.

If I could give them less than 1 star I would. I ordered from this company on the 1st Feb as they said all items were in stock and I would recieve delivery within the week. 15th Feb and lots of failed emails and phone calls I finally got a call back to say everything was in stock 'apart from the door handles' which was most of my order. Was assured it would be with me by the weekend, which would be Friday 19th. Nothing. Called on the 22nd and was told someone would call me back within 20 minutes to give me tracking info. 6 hours later and nothing. Terrible customer service, very much regretting spending my money here. Avoid at all costs.

Ordered 7 set of handles (5 normal sets & 2 bathroom sets), arrived quickly.
2 sets were what i would describe as "poor quality", emailed to request replacements including pictures of poor quality handles. no response.
Telephoned - apparently my emails had been flagged as spam because of attachments, very responsive chap whom i spoke with arranged replacements without quibble as they had images of poor quality handles.
replacements arrived 1 week later - all good, would order from here again

Top Quality and Top Serevice

Brilliant service with a quick turnaround from placing my order to receiving the products. The quality of the door handles received was superb and when I contacted the company with a couple of queries concerning additional hardware requirements, the response was immediate and Karl Shepherd who I spoke to was really helpful. Will definitely use the Door Handle Store again.

placed a order with this store took…

placed a order with this store took ages to come and when received 1 item was missing ,you cannot get hold of this company by email or phone left messages but no reply , what a very poor company i would not recommend anyone buying from them and we certainly will not .
i am considering taking them to small claims court even tho the item value is so low just to shake this company up .

Ordered a batch of door knobs

Ordered a batch of door knobs on 02/05 was told they had been dispatched but it is the 21/05 and I still have not received them. I have called 4 times and written 4 emails but have received no update as to where my order is. Very bad customer service.

Item not received after 4 weeks and no communication

I ordered 6 drawer knobs 4 weeks ago. Not received. I've phoned 6 times, left 3 messages, emailed 4 times. The first time I called (after about a week) I was told that the item wasn't in stock (they hadn't bothered to inform me) but was expected in and I'd receive the following week. 4 weeks later I still haven't received and every time I phone I just get an answerphone. No replies to emails either. I've now asked for a refund and await some response.

Knob came in no time at all.

I ordered a extra knob as I didn’t count correctly when I ordered initially. It was adequately protected and was undamaged even when the postman had to pop it round the back. Impressed with the speed it came and the joiner was equally impressed with the quality of the knob and how well it fitted.
