Having the same experience as most other people and I can only conclude that it is a scam. I ordered and they didn’t arrive, good old Vincent was very polite and claimed to have resent them, but again they didn’t arrive. Seems to be a well organised way to dupe people.
Good support during delivery delays
I had delays adding up to several months while waiting for my order; nobody's fault at either end, just a consequence of the current state of the world in 2021. To their credit, they kept in touch with me throughout and the package did indeed arrive in the end.

Your item won't be sent. Avoid DVD Hut!
Same as many others have reported - items don't arrive, they 'resend them' but that doesn't arrive. You never get a tracking number and Vincent skirts the question. So much for my dad's Christmas present (ordered early November 2020, still nothing mid April 2021).
Something dodgy...
I have had the same problem as many people have written here - ordered an expensive dvd early last year, every few months I would email and chase up as I hadn't received it, Vincent would say he'd mailed another, and it still wouldn't turn up. I've now given up and lost the money. Each time I asked him why there wasn't tracking on the parcel and he wouldn't answer that question. I'm confused why he bothers to keep answering my emails if this is a scam - maybe to stop bad reviews? I don't recommend ordering from this company even just for the amount of time wasted chasing up.
The tale of The Worricker Trilogy
I ordered the DVD The Worricker Trilogy through thedvdhut.com & after weeks of waiting Vince offered me a refund or he would source another copy from England & have it airmailed out straight to me. I chose to stay with thedvdhut & despite things Covid19 causing a longer wait time than usual the brand new DVD arrived yesterday. Vince & I have exchanged quite a few emails & he has always been wonderful to deal with. If it's service & excellent people to deal with you are looking for I strongly recommend thedvdhut. Thanks for everything Vince.
Worth waiting for
I ordered my DVD in august 2020
I received it in March 2021 . Very happy to have got it ! Love it. Throughout the process, every time I wrote to DVD direct to say it had not arrived they were very helpful and positive, offered me my money back and said another one was on the way. Arrived in time for my husbands birthday 🥳

Sadly the same story
Sadly the same story. Ordered a box set for a very sick friend. Didn’t arrive. Assured another set was sent. No tracking available - I was then suspicious - advised they had been notified by “the postal services” that the item would be delivered in 10 days. Guess what? Yes, no delivery - very polite on emails - don’t risk it. So either I’m the unluckiest chap or this is a scam. You make that decision. Sadly I didn’t pay with Pay Pal so looks like I’m out of pocket. Do not use this company.

I ordered 2 DVD's 3 months ago but due to Covid 19 and Britex they did not arrive in Australia. I contacted Vincent at DVD Hut in early March and he immediately posted replacements via airmail both DVD's which arrived in 12 days. Great service I can only say thank you and can highly recommend this company for others order from.
Carol is fabulous!
There Were several complications with my order, including. COVID hold-ups and losses, but Carol stuck firmly with me the whole way through the process and would not stop until I had the correct item delivered to me, despite a lot of inconvenience for her. I ordered a DVD box months ago. I was told it had been resent several times, none of the packages arriving. I have given up and would warn anyone else about using this site. I have no idea whether it is legitimate or not. All I know is I have lost over $100.

Very pleasant business to deal with. Vincent went over and above to ensure a second copy of my ordered item was sent, when the first one vanished into the mailing system. The dvd in question was a very old one and hard to find so was very happy that DVD Hut stocked it, and at a good price.

When delivery of my order became very overdue I emailed DVD Shop Direct and received a prompt response from Carol who undertook to send a replacement. After several weeks the replacement had not arrived so I contacted Carol again. Her enquiries indicated that delivery was imminent so she asked that I wait for about a week and shortly after that week was up the product arrived safely.
It seems that the company is working under some difficulty (it is closing down apparently) and I must say that the effort Carol made to ensure delivery was
outstanding as was her courtesy and professionalism

Thoughout this process, Carol of DVD Shop Direct NZ, was very helpful and kept us informed of progress. We are very grateful for her perseverance, with a successful resolution.
Excellent Customer Service
I experienced delivery ssues which were outside of my and the control of The DVD Hut; but felt confident in the support that I received throughout the process.
A company's strength is in its people and The DVD Hut has excellent people judging by Vince. He has customer skills second to none and was supportive in circumstances which could have been frustrating had he not been there for me.
I would absolutely recommend The DVD Hut to anyone who wants excellent customer services and delivers on its promises.
