I'm fairly new to The Farmer's Dog, so I can't speak to the customer service or delivery processes as of yet. However, what I will say is that their dog food has made a world of difference for our Aspen! We previously had her on Merrick, but it was horrible on her digestive track. Her poops were constantly soft and runny, and let's not even talk about the gas (let's just say she could clear a room and it was frequent). She has now been on The Farmer's Dog diet for about two weeks and WOW. What a difference! She is super excited for meal time, and is always licking her bowl clean. But even better, her poops are now solid. And no more gas! We are thrilled! Would highly recommend this food to other doggie parents.

This is quality food for my pet who absolutely loves it. I had tried a different fresh food brand but after the first day, he wouldn't eat it. With the Farmer's Dog he runs to his food bowl every morning. The food smells really good and the texture is just what you would want. The other brand of fresh food was runny and after a couple of days in the fridge, started to smell sour. The Farmer's Dog gives you a container that keeps the food as fresh as the day it was opened. Couldn't be happier.

Well been trying to get booked in and finally did. Got there 2 hours early so I could browse the shop and sit and enjoy the view . Went to join the queue and a lovely very smart lady calls any reservations , we put our hands up and in we went ( no bother ). Was met by a lovely young man who asked about our day and showed us to our table which was in the outdoor covered area ( highly recommended).
Within 5 minutes a young girl took our drinks order and food and brought some tap water over. The food was incredible it was a Sunday so all had roasts of some sort , I went the whole hog and three courses ( just cause I live 3 hours away so can’t come back every month ) 🤪. the staff looked happy to be there very relaxed and very engaging. The food was excellent and I will drive back ( maybe not every month ) x thank you see you all

My Labrador, Louie, is 14 years old and he has had stomach issues for the last several years. His tummy would rumble so loudly that I could hear it across the room and he would have so much gas he could clear a room in seconds!
He has been eating Hill’s Gastrointestinal Biome prescription food for a few years but it didn’t help much.
We switched to The Farmer’s Dog a little over a month ago and not only does Louie love the food, none of the tummy rumbles or gas have been present. It’s a truly amazing change and he absolutely loves the food. I wish we had switched so much sooner. It’s definitely more costly than regular food (about the same as his prescription food,) but it’s well worth the price to have him feel so much better.

When Kona was on H**l's Sci Diet Digestive formula, she had large bowel movements and went much more frequently. About every six weeks, she'd have a severe bout of diarrhea. At night, while she was lying next to me in bed, I could hear her stomach rumbling, and she'd be up making multiple trips outside. Each time, I'd end up taking her to the vet for medication, and she'd be fine for another six weeks before it happened again.
Since switching her to The Farmer's Dog, all of those issues have gone away. She's been on it for the last two months and hasn't had a single digestive problem. Her bowel movements are smaller, more consistent, and she seems much more comfortable overall.

My dog Angus absolutely loved his meals from Farmers Dog he loved the taste of. I believe that using this food kept him healthier and definitely happier than regular dog food. This is the most compassionate, caring company I have ever dealt with. They were always very responsive and helpful if I had to make a change in the recipe. Unfortunately we had to say goodbye to our beloved Angus and Farmers Dog sent us a beautiful card and lovely plant in memory of him. I am blown away by the level of caring they have shown us. Do yourself and your pets a huge favor and use this fresh food it is worth it!

Pancreatitis and High Fat Kills - If you want your dog to eat food, this is a good choice, your dog will find the fat delicious. Unfortunately, if you're anything like me & my dog, you will visit the vet, emergency vet, and clinics so many times that you'll stop counting after 10 and most likely because that's when the real crisis level has heightened so you're just going from one place to another searching what could be wrong with your dog and why he can't eat and is suffering. Then if you're lucky enough, a veterinarian doctor will see the pattern you show them with the food and the vomiting and then test your dog for pancreatitis and ask you to stop feeding them that food. I just hope that you learn this sooner than we did and that your dog gets to live. I hope the staff that receives these pancreatitis complaints will choose a more honest career path for themselves in the future. I hope the person reading this considering this product will pause and discuss this and other food as options with the veterinarian doctor that will be by your side trying to save your dog's life in the end and not the veterinarian doctors that have chosen employment in marketing for a dog-food company that is absent of food trials and ignoring the risks of a high-fat diet.

We are having issues with Charlie our boxer saint Bernard mix feeding him grain free kibble. Dreesed it up with some cans good stuff 1/3 can to enhance the food. But he's getting worse inching chewing him himself. Second time looking at The Farmers Dog Food service. First just skeptical I contacted them with questions using my sarcasm wasn't warrented. Second time Deb and I talked it over and decided to give the trial a try. Received box looking at these tubes, definitely I was skeptical until I saw Charlie's reaction. So now he sits just outside his bowls talking to me while I fix his dinner grumbling and talking wanting me to hurry. Absolutely incredible how's he's changed. I never would of believed this happy transformation in his demeanor. Been thru 2 boxes of 16 and 14 and now full boxes are coming. Just make sure you have room in your freezer. I'm not joking either full box is 26 tubes so, be warned. Charlie starts getting all worked up around 04:30ish he knows what's coming..
That's why we went with trial to start didnt want to get tied into something and was pleasantly surprised as to Charlie's reaction. The Farmers Dog has definitely changed us completely on how we feed our happy Charlie.

First complaint is the way they conduct their business. Every other company to which I have a repeat delivery such as Chewy, Walmart, IHerb, Earthing Co.. and so on, message you in advance to make any changes. I had a heck of a time getting my dogs adjusted to the change therefore needed to change the delivery date. My dogs do not do well with grains and I didn't realize the first order had grains. Second order I was able to make sure to opt out of grains. It was piling up so I changed delivery date and instead of starting over from that point which every single other company does... they shipped the new delivery date plus the old one without confirming order. I was overdrawn on my account because of this and I keep a tight budget even checking my account at least 2 times a day. I messaged them and instead of compensating me or making it right in any way they just dismissed the fact they shipped a double order back to back disregarding my overdraft. When you change a delivery date that should be it. It should recalculate from that point moving forward. Not ship that one plus the old delivery date. That doesn't even make sense. In addition they ought to send you a notification ahead of schedule to make any changes. All other auto deliveries I have practice this. For this reason alone I wanted to cancel. But I put so much effort into changing their food I was just going to let it go. But now, one dog still doesn't care for it but it's all she has so she will eat it because there is no choice. But my biggest concern is my best eater who never complains is now not eating this food after she seems to have developed a pancreatic upset. She is vomiting and had loose stools. I'm so over this company. I have to go back to cooking my dogs food fresh every single day which is what I was trying to not do. I love my dogs more than anything and they deserve the best health and love and I so wanted farmer's dog to be a part of their care but it turns out I am sorely disappointed.

I just received my 2nd box of Farmers Dog food. All of the labels were falling off of the product. When I called to complain they didn’t think it was a big deal. I tied to get in touch with their Operations to give them some guidance about labels and freezer adhesives. I was VP of Operations for a world wide label company for over 40 years and have a lot of experience with this type of issue. I sent an email but no response.
After this I started looking at some of others experiences with them.
They are concerning, especially the pancreatic potential issues. I will no longer purchase product from them
Beware
As far as a supervisor getting back to me, that only happened because I asked to speak to a supervisor. His name was Diego and was the supervisor for the customer service rep that I talked to regarding my issue.
Diego was of no help and I have not heard from anyone else since speaking to him
I asked to put all of my future orders on hold today as well as a refund on my 2nd shipment with the defective labels. That is being processed according to information I received.
The responses you and Diego have given lack substance.

I have been very satisfied up until the most recent shipments. The previous shipment was cutting it close to running out of Food. This shipment that should have arrive on earlier in the week will not arrive until 10pm tonight. I am out of town and will not be able to receive when it arrives. Which means $270 will be thrown out and have no food for my dog. I will be canceling.

Here's a polished version of your review:
> We have had a wonderful experience with Farmer's Dog! Our dog absolutely loves the food and gets excited for every meal. One of our main goals was to help her lose weight because she was significantly overweight, and this food has been a great part of that journey.
>
> Not only does she enjoy every bite, but we've also been impressed with the company's outstanding customer service. We had an unfortunate situation where a large portion of her food thawed unexpectedly, and Farmer's Dog responded quickly and made sure we received replacement food right away.
>
> Their team has been incredibly responsive, helpful, and easy to work with. Between the quality of the food and the exceptional customer care, I highly recommend Farmer's Dog to anyone who wants the very best for their dog.
**Shorter version:**

When we had an issue with some of her food thawing due to a freezer issue, their customer service team was amazing and quickly helped us get replacement food. Excellent product, outstanding customer service, and a company that truly cares about pets. Highly recommend! 🐾❤️

When we got our pup we wanted him to have the best food possible and after comparing prices and testimonies on food quality we decided to try the farmers dog. He loved the food and wolfed it down for both his breakfast and dinner. They delivered the food to our door frozen with dry ice to ensure that it stayed frozen. We signed up for text messages and they let us know in the morning of the day we would be receiving our food and then messaged us again upon dropping it off. Unfortunately he showed signs of food allergies and our vet has put him on a hydrolyzed diet. I thought that I had canceled his plan so I was very surprised this morning when I got a text notification informing me that we were getting our farmers dog delivery. I called them and talked to them about canceling our plan and they set up a refund for me, the food though still got delivered. I called them and they confirmed that the refund had been put in but they were not able to take the food back, only asking that I give it to a neighbor, friend, or animal shelter. I will update this if I don't receive a refund but from my current perspective I could have asked nothing more of the farmers dog, everyone I talked to was absolutely fantastic and really seems to stand behind wanting to put the dogs first.

First of all.. just want to say we had a great experience. The staff were lovely. And great service throughout.
We had the Sunday dinner menu as was the only option.. and were excited as we thought it would be great. Had heard good things.
Unfortunately we were disappointed.
It wasn’t great.
We had the double roast.
Food arrived fast.. but Luke warm.. pork was dry.. then once we asked was told no pork cracking as they had ran out. This was at 3.45 (still had the evening to go) we were given free desserts. But doesn’t take from what we expected in the roast dinner.
Will still return, but maybe for a pizza as they looked amazing. 🤩
I have two bulldogs. One that can have grains and one that cannot. A 36 lb Frenchie and a 70 lb English bulldog. I’ve ordered a few times. The dogs enjoy the food. My last shipment the labels were wrong. Not only were the labels wrong for each dog, I soon realized some said chicken and they were clearly beef. I reached out. I took pictures, pealed back the label as requested. Then received an email telling me to “go on ahead and switch the labels to the correct bag.” What should have happened was your company should have offered to pay for shipping to take this entire order back, and send a new order. If you had the bag back maybe you could scan it and see who didn’t label the correct dog or the correct food and provide some education to that employee. There are so many of these companies to choose from. Telling me to switch the labels was not the outcome I was looking for, nor is it an indicator or high business standards. One dog cannot have grains.

We were referred by a friend who raved about the food and service. We started out okay however after the 3rd delivery we started having issues with labels missing (we have 2 dogs - one large and one small). I reported it and was advised they would pass it on with instructions on how to read the code on the food. Next shipment same problem, told this is unusual and it would be reported. Fast forward to the past three shipments. Boxes arrived with smashed corners, open top and exposed dry ice. I was told not to worry the food was still good. The customer service support team simply read from a script and for the cost of feeding 2 dogs (over $500 per month) I would expect greater concern on their shipping issues. The box arrived yesterday with the bottom ripped open and we tossed most of the food as we did not feel comfortable with the exposure of the food.
This morning I canceled and will move to making the food myself. Such a disappointment that their service, delivery and product support get an F. I realize things happen ocassionally however this many times is unacceptable.

My vet recently told me that the fat content is too high so I shouldn’t use it anymore. My personal opinion is it is too watered down and smells terrible.

It’s MUSH!
The good might be natural but it’s mushy and I don’t want to feed my dog baby food… I tried to give it to her and she doesn’t like it. I have a husky I think we need some chunky food. This is strange …. Def not like the pics

The customer service and service in general is awful, but my dog does enjoy the food so we will stick with it for a while. Customer service reps deny simple requests, but it turns out you can make a lot of of the changes on the website yourself. In addition, something was left out of my order and I was told it would ship the next time, but it was never added to the order. We will see how it goes.

The Farmer's Dog company has excellent natural, healthy food for dogs. I liked reading about their journey into creating the product. It was very disheartening to read about what really goes into off the shelf dog food. It was a wake up call, for sure!
They take into consideration your dog's weight, breed, activity level and other factors to determine the daily amount that your dog needs nutritionally. The give you instructions on how to transition from your dog's current food to their new food.
Their customer service is top notch. They answer all your questions in a timely manner and are very supportive of your dog's health journey. I would definitely recommend their product to anyone who wants to make sure their dog eats well so their humans can have them around for a long time.
I didn't have any trouble transitioning my dog to TFD food. She is not a picky eater and she loves all the flavors. My dog Daisy also loves the Snap Sticks treats. I get orders every 2 weeks instead of 4 because of freezer storage space. However, you can save money by ordering monthly.
You can't go wrong with The Farmer's Dog!
