The Forest Distillery has now relocated to join our sister Gin Distillery at the iconic Cat & Fiddle within a beautiful stone building in the Peak District National Park. We now distil single malt English Whisky in our state-of-the art 500 litre pot still. Our gin is recognised as one of the worlds finest spirits having won an unprecedented two separate double-gold medals at the San Francisco Spirit Awards. A Memorable Gin Tasting Experience at Forest Distillery with Hosts Andy and Fiona.
The gin tasting at Forest Distillery was an absolutely fantastic experience for our group of 9 celebrating a 65th Birthday. Hosts Andy and Fiona were incredibly knowledgeable and informed us about the history of gin; the family business, and the gins of the Forest Distillery. The selection of gins was tasty, and the attention to detail in the presentation and serving of each one was top-notch. The process of gin making was clearly explained in front of the stills. Overall, this was a truly memorable event that I would highly recommend to any gin lover or anyone looking for a fun and educational activity, with the opportunity to buy some unique gins.

Gintastic !!
A group of 10 of us attended the distillery tour, from the minute we walked into The Cat & Fiddle we was made to feel welcome, staff were so friendly and welcoming. Andy and Fiona hosted the tour, so easy going and great, knowledgable guides. The story of how the company began is amazing and inspiring. After the tour we stayed for more drinks, it was like visiting old friends!! Highly recommended !!

Have not been on a distillery tour before - saw this online and bought it for my husband as a birthday present. Andy is an excellent host, and made the tour really interesting and quirky with lots of information. Very Very impressed. Love the story behind the distillery, and the story behind the Weasels. Well worth a visit !
