For a start ,fantastic real ale .I have recently been ill and not been to my local since ,so decided to purchase real ale for my husband as a Christmas Eve present .The Hop Shed contacted me as regarded to delivery ,they gave me two dates ,they delivered on Christmas Eve in the morning .Later in the evening when my husband opened his early present ,he was really in his element ,so was I .I had got “Frizzle” ,our favourite ..Lovely ale .Thank you to the Hope Shed for their help in this surprise .Really made his Christmas ,plus he has shared with me .

My partner loves these Beers, his favourite is Frizzle. I ordered a box of 12 and the next day they were delivered to Stockport really fab delivery, the guy who delivered them was excellent great service indeed. If you love Beer and lager order from this website you will be very happy 😊

Just happened to be passing so popped in to a very warm welcome.
What a fantastic place for a drink! Very simply in the rear of a agricultural shed with great atmosphere and regular artisan food suppliers.
Will definitely be back.

New "flagship beer" 4.0% Pale is poor...
Frizzle IPA is brilliant, Brakel Pilsner is a great lager (but MUST be drunk cold!), however we were (very) underwhelmed by "the new flagship beer" 4.0% Pale. This tastes thin and malty, very poor hop taste, nowhere near the "extraordinary flavour" on the flyer. We think you should rethink this and relaunch.

Thank you for your review and feedback Richard. The bottled Hop Shed Pale is not as flavoursome and hoppy as the draught version and we have already planned to use a lot more hops in our next bottling run. We brew cask batches all the time so can tweak the recipe ever so slightly to get exactly the flavour we are after. As we bottle 4000 litres at a time, this happens only two or three times a year so there is less chance to make improvements. We always test each batch and make any necessary adjustments so it will only get better!
