Customer service failure
I have ordered from this shop once before; four jars of pickles. They arrived promptly, but one was broken. To the shop's credit they did refund the money for that jar, though they made me jump through hoops.
Then I ordered two jars of pickles and two bags of frozen samosas. The package arrived with the samosas fully defrosted so I couldn't use them as you're not supposed to refreeze stuff. Numerous phone calls mostly resulted in the message that their voicemail is full and I couldn't leave a message. Twice I sent e-mails to their help address and twice left a message on their website, all without reply. I did get through to them on the phone once, but the gentleman hung up on me before we could explore the solution to the problem.
So, the fact is they have taken my money and not delivered on what was required. By blanking me, they have proven either unwilling or unable to meet their responsibilities. Hence the one star review.
