Clunky UI & poor problem resolution
The web based system is pretty dated, clunky & unintuitive for the end users but the main problem is support. My company has decided to outsource the management of milage claims to TMC. This has 2 negative impacts:
1. Whenever there is a problem I inevitable get bounced back & forth between my company and TMC with both pointing the figure at the other.
2. Where as I can submit all non-mileage expenses whenever I want & will have the money in my account within 5 days, for mileage I can only submit at the close of a month and it then takes +3 weeks for the money to land.

I had some issues with my mileage …
I had some issues with my mileage capture where I was wrongly charged for personal use. However when I phoned to get this issue resolved I have to admit the service was excellent. Kate Hart took the call and went out of her way to find out that I had been issued numerous accounts. She really did put a lot of time and effort into helping me out. I don't normally write these review but she deserves a lot of praise for her hard work.
Providing I get the money back at the end of the month I want to thank you for your hard work Kate.

I recently joined my new company and a few weeks in to the role had some questions about the TMC system and the hire car that I had been allocated. I called TMC and spoke with Katie Hart. Katie was fantastic - not only did she resolve my initial query, she called me back to answer a further question that was not really her responsibility. To top it off, she then even updated all my vehicle details on the system just from a Reg number (even thought it was my responsibility to do that!). Thanks Katy - you are a customer service superstar!!!

A solution to a problem that didn't exist
Not that their functionality is bad but they have just inserted themselves as a solution to a problem that never existed.
For some reason TMC appear to be the arbiter of all company car mileage and as my car is fully expensed, it's a pain to justify why I went via Southampton to Birmingham from Redditch because I wanted to.

Beware of this company
Beware of this company, especially if the company you work for is using them.
Firstly, work out what it is they are saying they do and then work out what it is they actually do, just what is their business model! It's a geniuses way of theft from employees from a company using this 'service'.
I work in a field that involves driving up and down the UK as part of my role spending time away from home every week. TMC's system is poor when using hire cars, it only accounts for up to 4 vehicles when you try to log multiple vehicles. Non intuitive system that works on a traffic light scoring system. If you are unlucky enough to be racking up the miles, you are metered out with a Red 'Traffic Light system, fancy being scored poor for having to do your job!
Thinking of using their App to save time, forget it, it's useless. Just read the reviews on the Android App Store, enough said!
I was spammed and questioned for having to fill up a Discovery 3 times from Fort William to Somerset, as if I fraudulently filled up, again punished for a 13 hour journey. Staff lie if you have called them or they have called you and say the call has not been logged on their system, luckily I record calls.
If you have problems using their system, it's not a problem and you end up with TMC informing HMRC ALL of your mileage is private mileage therefor you end up with a huge chunk of your salary deducted.
This company's objectives has clear aims, poorly score the Employee so that the company can be seen to be acting on Green issues, are probably on some form of bonus system to fraudulently entrap people into 'private mileage' They can and will vindictively account ALL of your mileage as Private Mileage
