We had Andrew Drake as our mortgage advisor. He could not have been anymore helpful, he really did go above & beyond, kept in constant contact & explained everything in great detail. He really is an asset to your company. When my fixed mortgage comes to an end, I will definitely be contacting Andrew again.

Ryan and the team at The Mortgage Expert (TME)have been our go to for years for our mortgage deals and associated insurances. This time around with our fixed rate coming to an end we were nervous about being able to re-fix at a rate that was affordable to us. TME listened to our concerns, took on board our situation and delved deep and got us a great deal with a High Street Lender. From start to completion in less than 6 weeks and now a whole weight lifted off the shoulders! Thank you Ryan and to Sophie who has been really supportive and responsive to my many questions.

I can wholeheartedly recommend The Mortgage Expert Group. Due to some unfortunate life events I found myself not able to access high street lenders for my mortgage requirements. I tried many brokers and due to my complex case , none were able to get me a DIP, let alone a mortgage offer. Ryan was fantastic - he took his time to research the market, came back to me with options and advised me on the best product. He really knows his stuff! Sophie then took over and liased brilliantly between myself and the lender. I received my formal offer this week. Their service is second to none and I wish I had approached them sooner, rather than wasting valuable time with other brokers.

Following an IVA I was of the mindset it would be years before me and my husband would be able to get a mortgage to buy our first home, but after contacting Ryan he assured me that he would try his best to help.

He was very knowledgeable of the market, specifically on lenders that would be willing to lend to us and made the process very straightforward.

He was able to obtain a mortgage in principle with a 5% deposit for us, which was amazing as we then could start searching for a home. In the meantime Sophie made sure we kept our file up to date so that in the event of us finding a home we were ready to go for a mortgage application which turned out to be what ended up getting us our dream home and beating off the competition.

We have now received our mortgage offer today and are therefore one step closer to having our own home.
We cannot thank Ryan and Sophie enough - making the impossible possible for us!!

Amazing from start to finish

We used the mortgage expert as both my partner and I have had previous poor credit history, but had just had a section 21 and were now in a position to look to buy. Darryl was in touch with us the day after I had submitted my enquiry through their website. We were able to provide all the documents needed via their online portal and once we had our offer on a house accepted, we got our mortgage offer through really quickly. Sophie who does the admin was really helpful. It was definitely worth us going through them, as Darryl found us a better deal with a bank I'd never have known was available in the UK if I'd been searching on my own.

Darryl often goes live on tiktok with interactive Q&A sessions for general advice, which is worth a watch. My other half has been quite quiet through out (leaving it all to me!) and I've been the one doing all the emailing and messaging to Darryl and Sophie, but whenever I have one of the tiktok lives playing he always says he'd happily go to Darryl again when the fixed rate is up and it was worth paying the fee.
