I have been using the study skills and mental health support from theorise for about 18 months now and honestly cannot fault it! Both my support workers have helped me progress in my studies and keep my mental health in check. They are there through the good, bad and the diabolical and I'm not sure I'd still be studying without them. I'm not sure I'd be doing much without them! It's an amazing service and thank you just doesn't seem enough.

Theorise has really helped me reach my full potential both at college and at Napier University. Bronagh and Gillian have been especially helpful whilst ensuring I have relevant notes they both also assist me with other things that crop up like repeating what lecturers say if I miss it (I'm deaf and lip read)

I've used Theorise throughout my time at university. Monika has been wonderful - she's helped me find new study techniques that worked better for me, helped me improve my academic writing, and did it all without making me feel foolish for asking for help. This service has helped me a great deal of the last couple of years.

Theorise have been great to work with. The attention to detail the tutors go into to ensure students understand new learning material is so appreciative. I always look forward to meeting with my tutor!

I have been using Theorise throughout my studies at QMU. My study skills tutor and mental health tutor is Tracey Mercer, and I genuinely do not think I could get through university without her. As an individual with ADHD and dyslexia, Tracey keeps me grounded, focused and on track. When I speak, complain, rant to Tracey it's like speaking with an impartial, long time friend who "just gets it". Thank you Theorise and thank you Tracey!

i am a third year student at edinburgh napier. my degree is difficult. i have been having terrible difficulties in my personal life and this can really interfere with the study process. due to my being austistic, i have been fortunate enough to have been awarded a private study skills advisor and a mental health mentor. Jordan is just fantastic. he listens. he properly listens and then he feeds back and he is gentle and unnassuming and really quite talented. i cant thank Theorise enough for allowing me to work with him. As for Sharon Brownlie; well where do i start? she too, just like Jordan, is empathetic, patient and kind and she was quick in learning and responding to my learning style. she is focused and exceptionally sharp minded. she doesnt ever miss detail and is eloquent in explaining and breaking down tasks to make them easier to understand. Sharon is probably the best teacher ive had since i was 11 and i am 51 now, so i have had a lot of teachers. Sharon works WITH the student, instead of dictating TO the student. she does lots of background research on the topic so when you meet with her, she will already have an understanding of assignment briefs. i really cant thank Theorise enough.

Brilliant company to work for. Dany is informative, efficient and helpful for every and any query you have. This is my second year freelancing for Theorise and envisage I will continue to for many more years. The work is consistent and interesting with great rates of pay.

I am in my 50s and have many years' teaching experience in HE, FE and private tutoring. I have worked for many organisations in both the public and private sector, as well as running my own tuition company. I can hand on heart say that Theorise Education are the best company I have ever worked for. They are at all times professional yet personalised, communicative but not micromanagy. They are super supportive of their staff whilst also responding to the needs of students. I feel like I could work for these guys for a seriously long time.

Theorise is a fantastic company to work for. I am a mentor and Dany is fully committed to supporting the mentors and students. The other staff in the company are also very supportive. I’ve had a fantastic experience working for Theorise over the past six years. Dany, the MD, is always approachable and available whenever any issues arise, which really helps in creating a supportive work environment. The flexibility the job enables me to balance work with my family commitments, which is a huge plus for me. I also love being able to build rapport with my students – it’s incredibly rewarding to see them grow and succeed. Overall, Dany fosters a positive, understanding atmosphere, and I enjoy being a part of the team where I feel genuinely valued for my skills and expertise.

I had a very positive experience with the academic advisor! He helped me manage my schedule and get better organised. Regarding the mental health mentoring, I believe there's an opportunity to enhance the service. In my case, the allocated hour long sessions often were cut short, leaving me feeling uncared for. Perhaps reviewing session management practices and emphasising the importance of a supportive environment could improve the overall experience for students seeking mental health support.
