Thank you, Jess!
I was looking at purchasing an escape room experience for my dad’s birthday and spoke to Jess. Despite my 101 questions she explained everything very well. She was informative, very helpful and patient. Looking forward to playing with the whole family albeit virtually!
Totally enjoy the game's selection…
Totally enjoy the game's selection available now only on line and can't wait for the business to return to full swing so that we can enjoy the new games.
Excellent customer service
Excellent customer service! Very helpful and considerate. I am very impressed and will be purchasing from them again.
Disappointing
Very disappointing, a group of 6 took on CSI Deadline over Zoom. We aren't a daft bunch but had to get the answer for the unlock PC and mobile phone challenge, still no wiser and the answers were both the same ! The phone needed a numeric code to unlock but the only answer provided was letters and the same as the PC code that made no sense. Is it a glitch surely the answers shouldn't be the same? And we are none the wiser why the answer was what it was.Not wanting to spoil it for anyone so not easy to explain. I will say that the company's customer service is great but this game was disappointing.

Bought a package of seven online games…
Bought a package of seven online games and found them great.
Once you’ve bought them you really emailed the instructions and all the codes. You then share these with the people you play with.
Ideally you have one screen or device on Zoom or other video conferencing app and another screen or device on the game website. Each player can view all the clues independently and once you’ve solved a clue, you can share the answer and move onto the next puzzle.
You can play anytime you want and you can also replay the game if you wish. There’s also no limit on numbers in theory although I’d say you’d want to limit numbers in one team to around 6 otherwise it gets a bit noisy over VC.
Split between a number of players, the games and the bundles in particular are great value for money.
The puzzles themselves are challenging but not impossible and there are a series of easily accessible clues that you can use if you get stuck.
Production wise, there’s a nice use of a variety of media such as videos and voice recordings and you’re also given the option of downloading a soundtrack to go with the game to build the atmosphere.
The only thing I’d say as a negative is that the games are fairly linear in that you solve one puzzle before moving onto the next. However, when playing remotely, this is probably a good thing otherwise it may get too chaotic.
In terms of replicating real life escape rooms, online games are never going to do it completely, but this should help sate your appetite for escape rooms and will give your brain a good workout.
Best escape room ever
Have done a few rooms here now and is always a great experience. Love all the different designs and surprises. Would definitely recommend and can’t wait to do some more rooms once it’s open again

Ok Puzzles, expected more interactive puzzles rather than a web based form that you type the answers into to a password screen. To be honest i could of programmed that, or used google forms. Its a single use for the money its really not worth the full price but had it on discount under £10 which is why i gave it 3 stars + Video's are ok in it.
We found people were going ahead, worked out that sharing one screen would be better.
Overall ok, but still disappointed for the money i paid for an hour

What a brilliant, fun few hours of entertainment!
I was looking for a way to celebrate my husbands Birthday and have some fun with our friends despite being in lockdown. We were well past hosting another quiz! I came across the panicroomonline's Online Escape Rooms and ordered one. It was Fab! Everything I needed to play the game was in my email in seconds with a very helpful online chat to answer my questions when needed. Within a week I had ordered my second one. What a brilliant few hours of entertainment, 100% recommend.

CSI room - work event
Played the CSI room as a work xmas social, it was very fun! Really enjoyed the puzzles and piecing everything together! I do, however, think the clues should have some kind of time penalty or some way to make it more difficult to use them. Other than that, was very fun and would definitely recommend! :)

Avoid the Overseer
We played the Overseer last night and it was a very poor escape room type game. Effectively a few random puzzles cobbled together with a very weak storyline, and no one really knowing what was going on. Just trial and error answers to get through the next password, before it suddenly was (thankfully) over. It worked, but apart from that I would not recomend the Overseer.

Excellent enjoyment with family or friends
Played our first game with family the other end of the county & abroad. It was just fabulous, easy to get into it, once you find one clue you go into another room until you solve the puzzle. It look us longer than it quotes 😂😂 but there’s no rush. What a fabulous way to be with family & friends during these unusual times to play a game everyone can take part in, have a good laugh & “be together “ Definitely definitely will be doing it again soon
We played CSI Xmas as our 1st ever…
We played CSI Xmas as our 1st ever online escape room (mum,Dad 2 boys aged 12 &15) have to say we were not the quickest, However we all loved it, what a brilliant game, definitely stretched the old grey matter , will 100% be doing another , we are getting all the family involved with next one using face party , if you’re thinking possibly of doing one my advice is do it!!!
Outstanding games and customer service
Outstanding. Fantastic online games, with a massive selection which would suit families and enthusiasts alike. I've played a huge number of them and couldn't speak higher of them. Great support and customer service tops off an all round brilliant experience
Awesome games and products
Wonderful online games! Great staff who really care about the products and games they produce and sell. Highly recommended any of their services.
Escape room fix from the comfort of your sofa
Having played many of the physical experiences The Panic Room provide over the years, I was intrigued by the online offerings that have been presented since the Covid-19 pandemic began. I wasn't disappointed!
Firstly, the sheer number of games they've created in a short space of time is astounding. There are games to fit every taste, from horror fans, to budding detectives, and even aspiring rock stars. The interface is easy to understand and works in most browsers (I would recommend using a tablet at least - the screen size on a mobile phone would make some parts very difficult. The puzzles themselves have a very "Panic Room" feel to them, enhanced by their tell-tsle videos and audio that also manage to carry the house style.
The pace of the games vary, but ultimately you're not constrained to the traditional hour (unless you impose it on yourself) so you have longer to do the puzzles, giving you even more bang for your buck!
If you're a fan of escape rooms and are missing your padlocks and puzzles, this is a great alternative while the world gets back to normal. But why stop then! Up early and fancy a challenge? Back after a night out and want to play with friends? Perfect for whenever you want to break away and break out!
Online games
Played several online games across 3 households (1 house in france) ages 9 - 76 in our group. Fantastic fun for everyone, well designed and really good value for money.
Brilliant experience
We played two online escape rooms after becoming huge fans of their real life escape rooms. As expected they were brilliant snd really good fun. We’ve also bought a couple of the escape board games. Couldn’t recommend enough, the owners have so much passion for what they do.
Fantastic Online Escape Experiences
Myself and friends are regular players of escape rooms (both at The Panic Room in Gravesend and others) but obviously haven't really been able to do any this year. However, The Panic Room's online games have been a brilliant way to continue to socialise with friends online during the pandemic.
The price is incredibly reasonable for what is around an hour's entertainment, and all you really need is a group Skype/Zoom call, a notepad and a browser (whilst you could have one person do it and share their screen, from experience I'd recommend everyone having their own browser open - you all use the same access code so there's no additional charge).
So far we've done around ten of the online games, and think they offer a great way to socialise with mates whilst separated by lockdown. It's the only time I'll ever have some beers whilst escaping a room!
All in all, 100% recommend. There are four of us that do it regularly so it tends to be less than a fiver per person per game. Can't argue with that!
online games to keep playing with friends
Bought a bundle of online games. These have been a fun way to do something with family and friends in lockdown.
Also sent my dad a birthday card. He loved it!
Give this awesome company a try!
Such a fantastic company that provides an amazing varied range of escape rooms and an ever growing variety of online ones too. Excellent customer service and passionate gamemasters. I love how this local business has grown, is constantly developing and adapting to what 2020 is throwing at it! Really lucky to have this place on my doorstep.
