Complaint Regarding Discriminatory Treatment at Trafford Store
I am writing to express my disgust and disappointment with the treatment my partner and I received at your Trafford store (ground floor store) on September 2nd 2026, between 12:00pm and 1:30pm.
We entered the store with the intention of making a purchase. We were initially the only customers, yet the two staff members completely ignored us and did not even acknowledge our presence.
A lady then walked in after us, and suddenly the staff approached her and offered assistance while continuing to ignore us. The difference in treatment was extremely obvious and made us feel unwelcome and unfairly singled out because of how we look.
In our view, this was disgusting, discriminatory and completely unacceptable, especially in 2026. We were ready to spend our money but instead walked out and took our business elsewhere.
I expect this incident to be taken seriously and properly investigated.

I had an excellent experience at the perfume shop on the top floor of the Trafford Centre, thanks to Aqib. From the moment I walked in, he provided outstanding customer service and made me feel welcome and valued as a customer.
Aqib was knowledgeable, professional, and took the time to show me a variety of different fragrances without making me feel pressured. He listened to what I was looking for and offered great recommendations, helping me find the perfect scent. Thanks to his expertise and patience, I ended up purchasing Valentino Born In Roma Men's perfume, and I couldn't be happier with my choice.
Aqib is a real credit to the store. Friendly, approachable, and genuinely passionate about helping customers, he made the whole shopping experience enjoyable. On top of that, he's a very smart and presentable young man who represents the brand exceptionally well.
Excellent service like this deserves recognition, and Aqib certainly deserves a pay rise for the level of customer care he provides. Thank you, Aqib, for such a fantastic experience!
