This PHD consultancy or The PhD bureau…

This PHD consultancy or The PhD bureau is a same fraud "companies" and they took 1500 pound from me, promising to deliver some stuff for PhD to university and recover moneys if it will not work. As a result they delivered bunch of rubbish (after the application time passed) and didn't recovered a penny. I am writing you to warn you - don't pay anything. He is a fraud. He stops responding to calls after payment.

Not reliable

I worked for this company for several, and wrote and edited about fifteen different projects. I worked closely with academics and produced the best work that I could, which was usually well received. In the end, the company owed me 600 GBP, and never paid me, though I wrote to them repeatedly. There seems to be a lot of deception going on, as the company owner, Stratos Malamatinas, uses a number of fake names in running the company (which now seems defunct).

TrustPilot (trustpilot.com) is a scamming, fraudulent Danish company established to extort money from vulnerable online businesses.

In the most authoritative online survey, TrustPilot itself gets a 1.5 score (from 5) score from 1447 public reviewers.

The link is available here: https://www.reviews.io/company-reviews/store/trustpilot.

TrustPilot does absolutely zero vetting for customer reviews and no proof whatsoever is required to post a TrustPilot review: no real name, no proof of purchase, no proof of service, no proof of company communication, no proof of allegation – absolutely nothing.

As such, ANYONE can publish ANYTHING with zero verification.

TrustPilot is also impossible to contact and all emails are answered with pre-scripted, autobotic gobbledegook and companies will never receive actual, personalised replies to sincere emails.

Genuine businesses must hope that in the near future international legislation and regulation will lead to the prohibition of TrustPilot and other such unscrupulous, unaccountable, uncontactable fraudsters.

The internet would be a much better place without them.

DO NOT TRUST the phd consultancy!

DO NOT TRUST the phd consultancy!! It is a scam. They will continuously try to rob you off your money and they don’t do the work the way you request it to be done, they also deliver the work way too late and don’t keep promises. They will continuously find ways to rip you off your money and charge you for the most ridiculous things. I regret working with them so deeply, it is the worst thing i’ve done in my life. Don’t make the same mistake I did, DO NOT TRUST them.

Oliver is a scam

I used Oliver’s service, I paid him and when I kept asking for my package after 2 months, he started evading my calls. He won’t reply you, he won’t pick your calls. One time I called the phone number and when they picked up, the told me that it’s just a call center. I’ve just reported him to the met police and filed a claim. Please don’t use them. The office doesn’t exist. He uses a UK#. I’ve also given his account information I paid the money into to the police. Don’t be stupid like I’ve been. He’s a real criminal. You can also report him to the met police

THE PHD CONSULTANCY – REVIEW RESPONSE

This is a formal response from The PhD Consultancy.

"FARIDA MUHAMMAD" is the fake username of a well-know Azerbaijani internet criminal and internet fraudster, sought by the police, who has regularly sought to extort money from a range of educational agencies in the UK.

This review is posted from a fake profile and is one of various aliases.

Farida has regularly sought to obtain money from us and other London companies in return for removing fake reviews which he has himself posted.

We have refused to make such payments.

We have reported this to the police and have alerted British companies, universities and charities to the illegal activities of this individual.

We are also working with Google to remove all of his reviews from the search engine.

Thank you,

The PhD Consultancy

Transnational PhD Studies

In late 2018, I ran into the Director, Oliver Marlborough, at Ladurée in Harrods, Knightsbridge, and we shared orange blossom macaroons, Colombian coffee and a fascinating discussion on
T. E. Lawrence’s adventures in Arabia … something which rekindled my curiosity about starting a PhD.

As a busy minister and family man in Qatar, I had for years put off a PhD application … mostly because of the time commitment I would have to make to study in the UK or the US.

I learned though from speaking with Oliver that it’s perfectly possible to study full time at a Top 25 UK university and just visit the London 3 – 4 weekends a year to visit the supervisor.

This changed my outlook and make the PhD a realistic proposition as last.

I worked with Dr. Gordon, the consultancy’s suggested supervisor, and we whittled my applications down to 5: SOAS, King’s, UCL, LSE and Oxford.

Working with Dr. Gordon was a breeze and I must have saved 30 – 40 vital hours on the application process.

Last week, I got my first choice acceptance to LSE and begin in September 2019.

Very excited!

Personally

Personally, I was ever so apprehensive to turn to any outside agency to assist with my thesis.

The confidentiality and privacy of my work were major concerns and I was also super nervous about general privacy concerns online.

Things though were double edged, since my supervisor at UCL went AWOL early in my thesis and I was stranded alone facing the choice either to abandon the PhD or to seek outside help.

I had put so much into the first three years of the work that I did not want to relinquish all that time and money or to give up.

I approached the consultancy in September 2017 and was introduced to Dr. Jordan who I then spoke with on Skype. We agreed to work together to re-structure my literature review and to implement some scant supervisor comments. Dr. Jordan was ever so patient and helped me more in the ten or so hours that we had talking together than I received in all my time at UCL.

I do not know about other consultants at the consultancy, but I definitely suggest Dr. Jordan to other struggling students.
