All our marmalades are 100% handmade from fresh fruit, simmered until the peel is soft before boiling to a set with sugar. In our opinion, this is the only way to make a good marmalade. The sharpness and clarity of the fruit shines through. Our Award winning marmalades are made in North Devon in batches of 22 jars, and have the kick to wake you up in the morning. Why make it yourself?

I ran out of home-made marmalade so had…

I ran out of home-made marmalade so had to buy extra supplies. Shop-bought marmalade is usually very disappointing but the Proper Marmalade Company Seville Orange Marmalade is delicious - the set is perhaps a little too jelly-like for me but the taste is as close to home-made marmalade as is possible!

A cut above!

The Seville marmalade from this company is a class apart. It has a wonderful sharpness of flavour and is sweet enough without the sickly sweetness you get with most marmalades. It’s now my firm favourite - a superb product!

Amazing Marmalade

Although I have only tried one of the three marmalades (Pink Grapefruit) that I ordered it is delicious! There was a little issue with my order and customer service was quick to fix it. I would happily place another order, quality products, fast shipping and great customer service.

The Marmalade Looked and Tasted Delicious

We ordered the marmalade after we'd read the reviews and we were not disappointed. We ordered on a Sunday and the box of assorted marmalades arrived on the following Tuesday.
