Do NOT trust this place it is a SCAM!! they pressure you into buying things, they do not explain all the terms and conditions properly, they offer no compensation for THEIR mistakes they make it impossible to cancel and the customer service is the worst I've ever encountered. Absolutely disgusted by the lack of help they give. Save your money and do not!!!!!! Waste it on them.

I have been scammed by Therapie who have taken £41 from me and are refusing to honour what has been sold or offer me a refund as per my consumer rights.

I initially booked 6 laser hair removal sessions. At my first appointment, I was told 6 wouldn't be enough and I'd need 10 so I paid the difference and confirmed with staff that my account would be updated accordingly.

This did not happen. Instead I was left with an additional credit on my account and Therapie are refusing to honour the 10 sessions upgrade that I paid for - which was sold and confirmed by their staff (Lena who sold me the upgrade and confirmed my account would be updated). They are now asking for an additional £67 to get to the number of sessions I previously upgraded to, given the promotion is no longer running. This shouldn't matter, as when I paid the additional amount to upgrade, the promotion was running, and staff confirmed my account would be updated to reflect the additional number of sessions. They are also refusing to offer me a refund, which I am entitled to given they have changed their mind and are refusing to deliver goods purchased.

I have been completely mis-sold due to incompetence of staff at this branch and I am not recieving what I purchased. The email correspondence has been dire - clearly AI and expecting me to pay additional costs for their own mistake as they did not correctly update my account. The entire experience at the clinic felt like they were busy trying to upsell rather than focus on any customer experience. Avoid at all costs - this is the first negative review I have written in my life and do not do so lightly.

UPDATE – 13/08/2026: I am now seriously concerned about how this clinic operates

Despite Thérapie publicly stating that I would be contacted, almost a month later nobody has contacted me at all.

There are also details about my appointment that I did not initially include.

After the treatment had already been performed, I was unexpectedly asked to pay £219. When I challenged this because the customer-facing price I had seen was £173 per session, the employee told me to pay the full amount first, as the manager was not there, and that they would speak to the manager about a refund the following day.

I paid on that understanding.

What is particularly concerning is that Thérapie subsequently took the position that £219 was simply the correct price. If that was always the correct and properly communicated price, I would like them to explain why I was told at the clinic to pay first and that a refund would be discussed with the manager the next day.

I was also concerned when the clinician told me during my appointment that she needed to ask her trainer how to perform the treatment. For an injectable cosmetic procedure, this was extremely worrying to hear as a patient.

Thérapie has already acknowledged in writing that its pricing “may not have been communicated as clearly as it should have been”. Yet there has been no meaningful resolution, and even the public promise to contact me has apparently led nowhere.

At this stage, this is no longer just about the £46 difference. It is about pricing transparency, informed consent, confidence in the treatment provided, and how a formal customer complaint has been handled.

I would strongly advise prospective customers to ask for the exact total price in writing before allowing any treatment to begin.

I am still awaiting Thérapie’s response.

I’ve been coming here for years to get different procedures done and I always find them to be really helpful and great value.

My experince at Therapie was so disappointing.

From around my third laser session I made it known that I was barely seeing results but nothing changed. Every time I was asked, I said that I wasn’t seeing the results I was expecting but this was clearly not taken on board.

There was a huge difference in the treatment depending on who was doing it, with some taking a couple of minutes to do one area that someone else would spend maybe 10 minutes on. Sometimes it felt painful and other times like nothing at all.

I was shocked when I was given a quote for further sessions without any kind of consultation to assess progress, which makes me think that selling more sessions was always the intention, rather than delivering a good service with actual results. I was also shocked when, about halfway through the course, I was asked if I wanted certain body parts done. I had no idea that this could be included as part of the package I had paid for as no one had asked me before.

On my last session, I told the technician that I understood the treatment doesn’t always work for everyone but that I’d expected it to work at least a bit better than it had. She seemed surprised and told me it does work for everyone. I got the impression that she was thorough and listened to feedback, whereas others didn’t and rushed the treatments which meant they weren’t very effective.

It’s been a few months since my last session and my hair growth is back to how it was at the start, so all the money spent on treatments and products has been a waste. Friends who have been to Therapie said the same about the inconsistencies and I should’ve listened to them before booking.

Bought an aftercare bundle and paid for its delivery, it's now 30 days after initial purchase; 4 chasing emails and case raised with bank in order to recover money. The laser treatment and clinic visits are brilliant but AVOID any online purchase, those guys are not worth your time!

Brilliant 1st underarm Lazer Session done with Sarah. Amazing informative and helpful lady that answered all my concerns and elaborated on the procedures and costs. I would highly recommend her at Swords Therapie and would love to return. Very polite and respectful experience from consulting to the actual lazer procedure. I was greeted with beautiful smiles and a warm atmosphere. Fantastic!

Everyone is very friendly and make you feel at ease, very informative and help you make the right decision about which treatments to choose. I am happy with the treatments I have had and will always choose Therapie for all other treatments I may need.

Posted a review 7 days ago regarding a parcel that had not been delivered it has now been 5-6 weeks since the order. Was initial made and a week since my review was responded to and yet I’ve had absolutely no communication whatsoever despite them claiming they would “look into it” they have clearly lost my order, but happily took my money with it. Beyond disappointed in a company I have spent £1,000’s with

A great service - Felt really comfortable throughout and gave helpful information about aftercare.

I attended for lazer in omagh , I had 2 previous appointments which saw great results , but no aftercare was applied , the 3rd and 4th appointments the results were terrible the lazer strength was not increased and it was a complete waste of my money and time .yesterday morning I rang to cancel my mums lazer appointment in omagh on Wednesday at 10.15 , the call centre answered an adviser Kia answered she refused to let me cancel the appointment even though my mum is elderly and I'll. I live in ireland and my mum in n.ireland , I had to drive to her even though im 9nly out of the hospital from si day .we rang to cancel as the wanted to speak to mum, the 48 hour window had passed .This was never explained to us when purchasing courses , my mum cannot work the app .I asked for a supervisor to ring me , which never happened .Please avoid , there is no respect for clients .

Unfortunately I had to leave a 2 star. The Dr was very lovely she explained everything and she was so kind, understanding and patient. I went in for my review and she did a few tweaks on my forehead but never touched my problem area which was the 11 lines on the review. Now 6 weeks on I squint slightly and I absolutely hate it. I really wish she had added to the problem area and not the non problem areas. So for that reason after paying so kuch money to squint after 6 weeks when treatment suppose to last 3 months I'm not happy. The forehead area is fine just the 11 lines which were the problem areas from the get go is moving.I have had to call three times to speak to the team. No one has called back to explain. A member of staff called Ann had email the team at this store and have tried to call several times and she also has had no luck. I'm just shocked especially as a new customer.

Amazing Friendly Staff Gender affirming

I went in today for my first Lazer hair removal tremeant and nothing could be any more perfect.

Front staff and the lady who did my tremeant put my mind at ease.

With the increasing transphobia in the world not just their friendly but their gender affirming attitude was lovely and much appreciated.

The lady who did my tremeant walked me though every step of the way and explained the treatment.

Didn't hurt at all in the end just like being hit by a rubber band.

Awful experience. Fine at what they do but little to no customer support or care. Don’t be late don’t be honest and you should be fine. In this day and age to have customer experience this bad is unacceptable.
So many people told me not to go here and go to a specialist salon. I’m not even going to finish out my course.
Lucky the support agent probably a bot is generic. I have a feeling it’s AI. I’m half hoping it is given the lack of empathy or care in responses.
