I bought a $160 bracelet
I bought a $160 bracelet. It was too tight. I returned it to them, per their approved return policy. That cost me $20 to send to them. They received it and sent me pictures of it that I sent it back scratched (I didn't). Yes, the pictures showed a scratch on a bracelet. That was not the one I sent to them however. So, they said they not only can't exchange it for a larger size,but that if I want it back, I had to pay again for them to ship the scratched bracelet back. Okay fine, and when I get the bracelet back, there is literally not one scratch on it. So I don't know what pics were of the scratched bracelet they sent me via email when I tried to exchange it, but it wasn't the bracelet I sent to them. I have pictures of the bracelet they sent back to me. No scratches anywhere. I'm done going back and forth with them. I'll eat the costs and find another place. If you buy here, you better not need to exchange anything, fair warning.

Broken chain situation resolved quite fairly
When our teenaged grandson ran into a problem trying to replace a broken necklace/chain and miscommunication between us and the Steel Shop seem to escalate the problem, the Steel Shop staff made a more-than-fair offer to replace the chain at their expense. So pleased with their assistance and the very positive outcome for all. Thanks.

Less than an hour passed and they responded; in another hour I was in touch with specialized care and a replacement with original engraving was on route! We have purchased from this company for over 5 years and never been disappointed; chains, bracelets, pendants, necklaces…they all hold up as does their warranty and customer service!

Amazing product, but spam requests for review
The product is great, and the service for returning the wrong-size item was easy. I think they should be a more well-known company given the quality and value of their products. The only reason it's 4 stars is that they sent like 6 emails asking for a review afterwards.

Stretch Bracelets prone to break - inconsistent sizing issue
Inconsistent actual sizing of the "same size" of 4mm stretch bracelets make them prone to break - and when they do break, STEEL requires you to "pick up all the pieces and send them back in their original packaging to endure they are not damaged and scratched." Photos were provided of the damaged bracelets, the inconsistent sizing of 9 of the same bracelets, and the indentations left on my wrist due to the inaccurate sizes, but the company denied there was any issue. They offered to repair and resize the bracelets, but they made the process extremely difficult and burdensome. I value my time more than the bracelets, so they will find a new home at a Goodwill donation center (with a note stating the correct sizing).
