Five stars from my cat—if only he could type! 🐾 After trying many different foods, this is one that gets an empty bowl and a very satisfied purr. The quality seems excellent, the food was well received from the very first meal, and my cat now comes running whenever he hears the packet open. As a pet owner, there's nothing better than knowing your companion genuinely enjoys their food. A happy cat makes for a happy home, and this purchase was definitely a success. ❤️🐱⭐

The product
Once the order was received , the product looked very appealing, unfortunately my cat , Vinnie , will not touch the food ! I have tried both the chicken & tuna but he will not touch them . The treats he eats reluctantly, so not a big fan of them either , he is a very fussy cat , what he likes one day he doesn’t the next so I have to keep mixing it up

Now subscription only and more £
Have ordered wet cat food for over a year from them ~(orders over £50/month). Price has now increased significantly £4/pack and you can only buy on subscription (which I don’t want to do). Such as shame as cats like it but I can’t afford to buy this now, nor do I want to subscribe-will have to look for an alternative brand.

We completely understand that price increases are difficult, particularly for customers who have been feeding Thrive for a long time and budgeting around previous pricing.
The subscription option was introduced to try to help loyal customers continue accessing the lower pricing more consistently, but we absolutely appreciate that subscriptions are not suitable or desirable for everyone. You can still buy without a subscription :-)
I’m very sorry that this has left you feeling you may need to look elsewhere, especially when your cats enjoy the food.

As it was a taster box, and I was part of a trial I expected more than I got.My three cats enjoyed the dried snacks, and I have purchased some of your tins of food from
Zooplus, which is my usual supplier. I will not continue with the trial, as your more expensive than they are.

Excellent customer service over samples
I ordered a sample pack for my cats, the team were super helpful and sent out a variety of foods for them to try. They loved the food, despite being very fussy cats!! So I will be buying more. I see it is on the shelf in Waitrose now. So happy days and happy cats!!

Experienced a few gremlins trying to…
Experienced a few gremlins trying to set up an account with the website and trusting when I next order these will have been resolved. Very easy to contact during the process and received high quality and genuine support.
Given a 5 star rating because Anna at Thrive during my correspondence was excellent.
As for the products ordered to keep one of very fussy felines happy, we had a few hits and misses with the products we ordered for her but overall a huge success! Greater variety ordering direct than products available at most supermarkets and we wanted to introduce some more variety for her. Beef & veg not a big success but tuna & chicken varieties with veg on a slow burn like 👍. She also loved the ocean fish which got a lot of blinks.
Will be continuing to order direct from Thrive in bulk as and when required. Highly recommend.

I have been buying the chicken kibble…
I have been buying the chicken kibble from Thrive for a very long time, and something clearly seems to have changed recently.
For several weeks, the product was completely unavailable on every website. When it finally came back in stock, the kibble looked totally different:
- much lighter in color,
- much drier,
- and far less oily/fatty than before.
Since this change, my cats have been experiencing very violent vomiting shortly after eating, even though they had always tolerated these kibbles perfectly in the past.
After reading recent reviews, I can see that I am not the only customer noticing digestive issues since the product returned to sale.
Has there been a recipe change, a new factory, or a manufacturing change?
Because honestly, these are clearly not the same kibbles as before, and it is becoming concerning for pets’ health.
