I understand that a retailer cannot directly control how individual delivery drivers behave. However, they are responsible for the couriers they choose to represent their company and deliver parcels on their behalf.

This order was already a replacement after the original delivery was left by Evri in a communal area on a completely different floor to where I live, which caused it to go missing.

Unfortunately, the replacement also failed. It was meant to be delivered to my home but was instead redirected to a locker without my consent. When I went to collect it, the locker was empty, and DPD advised that only the sender could raise an investigation.

After two failed deliveries using different couriers, I’ve lost confidence in the delivery process and the overall customer experience. Poor courier choices and insecure delivery methods have resulted in a very frustrating situation.

Thrive have the most helpful customer service team of any company I’ve had to email. ‘Evri’ delivery company cannot manage next day deliveries and in my case, confirmed they lost my delivery altogether, then found it again 9 days later. Meanwhile my cat had almost run out of food so I contacted Thrive who very kindly replaced the delivery which arrived next day by DPD. I cannot thank the team, namely Anna enough for being so understanding and resolving the problem even though it wasn’t Thrives fault. Very happy with the service! Thank you!!

Cannot fault this cat food.
Only downside is that some products are sometimes out of stock.

I am a bit upset about the Black Friday promotion launched just after I have bought the cat food.

I placed an order using a Black Friday discount code on 28/11. It had still not been dispatched on 11/12 which was a bit frustrating tbh. I emailed Thrive and they immediately set up a new order which arrived the next day. No communication from them, which was odd, just a new order confirmation.
I usually order from pet shops & this was my 1st time ordering directly from Thrive. Not the best experience, but I assume they were inundated with orders following the Black Friday deal.
The food is top quality. My cats didn’t like it at first, but I persevered because it’s important that they are fed well & not big brand junk.
I will probably order from Thrive again, to see if timing improves. I don’t want my cats to have anything but the best and I believe not much beats Thrive for quality & nutrition.

My cat has a chicken allergy, so finding food that he can eat (and wants to eat) is a huge problem. The food he’s been eating for the last year has now been discontinued, so thrive is a life saver. I just wish it wasn’t so expensive for such small tins, but at least it doesn’t upset my cats tummy.

I ordered food on 28/11/2025 and my order still hasn’t arrived.

No update as to what the situation currently is.

I emailed Thrive on Thursday 11th Dec for an update and they haven’t replied to me yet. I’m writing this 13/12/2025.

Very poor customer service.

Great deals on Black Friday.
Packaged well and dispatched in a timely manner but, once again initially let down by Evri.
They sent message saying they would deliver and on the same day said they could not deliver it. There was someone at home all day. We thought the parcel had been stolen as we had two "disappear" in the past month however it did eventually arrive a couple of days later. Thank you to Thrive though. Amazing cat food. The best! Will use again when deals are on and I can bulk buy as is quite expensive.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE
Absolutely the worst customer service I’ve ever come across. Literally lost my parcel - they didn’t even give me proper tracking details only to then initiate a re-order of my order and then no further correspondence from them. If it wasn’t for my cats taking a linking - I would 100% take my business elsewhere - to where it’s appreciated and respond to their customers email. Thanks for nothing Anna at Thrive.

Speedy delivery and my cat absolutely loves the food!
He gobbles it up and after trying a few different brands this definitely seems to be his favourite

My only criticism is the time it takes to get a delivery,

Top quality wet cat food with super fast delivery. Also, no plastic. Other retailers send their cans wrapped in plastic. Thrive cans are packaged in cardboard.

I have been a customer for a long time and recently had an issue with an order where a snack tube arrived damaged. There was a bit of a delay before I received a reply, but once Anna got back to me the issue was handled very well.

She apologised and arranged replacements, and the team also helped sort out a couple of things from a previous order that I had mentioned. Everything arrived quickly and in good condition.

Overall, the resolution was handled professionally, and I appreciate the effort they put into making sure things were corrected. This experience has given me confidence to continue buying from them.

Romeo, our cat loves to eat 100% chicken topper. Romeo can be fussy with his food but always eats this chicken. Delivered quickly to our door.
