As a company do not use Thrive

As a company do not use Thrive, it is an absolute rip off. We have been customer for 3 years, their working practices are extremely sharp.
Initially they promised loads of support, we haven't heard from them in 3 years. When I was looking to cancel the contract, they became extremely contractual.
I would highly recommend finding an alternative,

In this case, you signed a commercial agreement with Thrive which included an auto renewal. You were contacted multiple times prior to your renewal and offered the opportunity to change your plan or cancel your subscription. Having heard nothing from your organisation, auto renewal took place in line with the contract.

To clarify further, our customer success team has reached out to you more than 10 times over the past year in attempt to ensure that the platform was meeting your needs.

We are always at your disposal to ensure that you're equipped to get as much value out of our platform as possible.

Not a fan

I have just been introduced to Thrive for a job I applied for. After a 10 min chat about nothing (not Thrives fault) I was asked to complete this. It made me feel quite bad about myself and a potential job could rest solely on this. It focuses on the negative not the positive. It was all about what I can do better. I didnt like the scoring system at all. I have used platforms like this before that doesnt try and trip you up by asking the same question in multiple different ways. Not a fan👎

While we can certainly appreciate where you're coming from, Thrive is a platform which has been built to provide employers with scientifically valid and predictive insights on potential candidates, allowing them to make data driven hiring decisions. The results of the assessments that we provide therefore have to be critical in nature.

Our assessment uses Forced Choice. This means you are forced to weight statements and make a choice between similar behaviours. You will likely want to rank some behaviours equally, the point is to prevent that. Whilst this can be frustrating, it prevents social desirability (skewing results to score high across most of the behaviours). Forced Choice is proven as the most robust method in psychology when assessing personality.

Having said the above, we place great emphasis on the candidate experience and are always looking to improve it. We will certainly take your feedback to heart as we continue improving our platform.

Spammers!

Spammers! Received x2 emails over 1 week for their services. They're sending out emails from their .uk domain but redirecting them to their .co.

What about GDPR and CAN-Spam act? They're UK based, so they should know better, as you can't just email anyone from a list you've scraped together. "Did you get a chance to read my last email?..."

Update: They mention a GDPR- compiliant email list...there's no such thing!

From the initial introductory call from Will, right through to the onboarding process and set up, the service received has been excellent. Great communication, quick response to queries. Easy to deal with and some great results with the Test Candidate feature.
